in that video above, you mention that I should turn the gallery option on in order for images to actually move like a slider. I cannot find this option anywahere
there is no such link (GALLERY CHECKBOX) in the PROJECT OPTIONS hmmm. urrrrr
also how do I delete the titles per project post

That option was removed since it is now obsolete – the image gallery element in the page builder offers the same display as that plus a ton of other options and th flexibility to move it where you need in the page rather than being forced to keep it at the top.

Make sure you’re placing it in the extra content editor within your portfolio – if you’re still having trouble with that please allow me to check the page URL 
Hi guys, I ran the update to 4.8 and find that my icons are now struggling. I go to place an icon now and I cannot select any from the boxes shown for the Font Awesome icons.
If I then select what I think should be right or just anything, it seems to crash Visual Composer…
Could be a cache issue so will try from another computer later but thought you should be aware of this.

Hi there, I have an issue with Salient and need your (wise) help
I don’t know what happened, but one morning i went to my website (http://kribou.ca) and saw that the header is no longer transparent! I checked on the settings, the function is checked, and I also tried by forcing it on Home Page, but nothing happened.
Do you have an idea why it doesn’t work?

Hey guys, i know what I did there… I tried to compress the css file with http://cssminifier.com/ and it broke the file, it seems… Sorry about that. I restored the original version of the file, everthing is ok now.
But… i’m a little frustrated because i tested my website on some SEO tools and they detected that it’s slow because of the code and the size of some files (js, css, hmtl). Do you have some tips to give me to reduce the files size on my website please?

Thanks very much for the update. It’s just that…menu hierarchy, levels, and sub-items do not appear as such when adding a Custom Menu widget to the new Slide Out Widget area.
I’ve verified that the menu is set up properly.
I even tried a Custom Menu plugin to create the sub-levels but that doesn’t work either.
Not sure how to make it a proper slide-out menu.

Okay. Also, the Slide Out widget seems to have a fixed height. It doesn’t extend or scroll with the page. Not sure if that’s intentional.
Nonetheless, I love what you’ve done with Salient and can’t thank you enough for creating it. More {{{{hugs}}}}
The height is fixed to the screen – but if you have content that overflows past what’s visible you should be able to scroll down inside of it. The minor update coming out in a couple hours will also bring swipe functionality to that

Hey Fernando! I’m not quite sure what you’re asking – there’s a new option where you can optionally disable the search in the header if that’s what you’re wondering

the height can be whatever you need it to, just ensure that you have the flexible height option turned on so that the slider can scale to fit whatever screen size the user is viewing your site on

those are the default fonts – if you remove those the theme won’t have any fonts set at all. If you want to, you can do so near the top of the style.css file at the font face declarations

The new Salient update did not fix the Safari IOS issues on the iPhone. There are still some of the same issues and my website and other Salient sites are broken and rendered useless in the new Apple IOS for iPhone. Apparently there is some issue with Salient and the new Apple IOS (even the latest version they just released the other day). Pleas help. I also opened a new ticket.
*Nav Bar doesn’t work *Home page slider is white and who knows what other issues still haven’t been resolved
Slider text not showing up on iPad with latest IOS and a little buggy
Please review my entire site as there are tons of bugs in it. I’ve updated to today’s Salient theme, all plugins are updated, WP is updated. All should be working fine but it isn’t. Please help.
Hey again acmediaservices, after much testing with iOS8 via my iPad mini using Safari/Chrome I was only able to see the Nectar Slider issues of the text not displaying – which 4.8 did fix. Have you ensured your cache/cookies were cleared after updating? Are you also seeing these other issues you mentioned on your iPad as well or are they specific to the iPhone?
Still Showing Errors – Please Read but Update to the latest iOS 8.0.2 On the iPad, the Nectar Slider text shows up in portrait mode but nn text shows up in Landscape mode. Check my www.acmediaservices.com Home page to test this. Also, on the iPhone in the Nectar Slider, the smaller text area is very grainy and I can’t read the text on my iPhone. I can also see the small text in the Nectar Slider isn’t as clear on the iPad as well. If you can please fix this and release another version of Salient, it would be appreciated as my site is live and so are others and this is a bug that needs serious fixing, especially as sliders are on the Home page of sites for the most part with missing information due to this bug. Thank you.

Why when I import the xml data from the modern creative site does it not look the same? For instance navigation isn’t bold and uppercase like in the live preview.
