Hi., You can change it from Dashboard -> Soulmedic -> General -> Logo -> Custom Image Logo -> Upload a logo for your theme, or specify the image address of your online logo.

Is there a way to add the phone number so it shows up underneath the logo on mobile devices. Right now, I have it in the upper right bar, which is great for normal browsers, but the phone number won’t show up on mobile devices. Any help would be great.

If you want your text to be little bit bold, then kindly get into your theme-directory through “wp-content/themes/soulmedic/style.css” and in line-no:80 (appx) of class name ”.dt-sc-testimonial blockquote q”, just change the font-weight as per your needs…

How do I remove the giant Placeholder Image on the single post?

Ok I replaced the image with a 1×1 white pixel which solves the image problem.
What about the permanent author box? I’ve tried disabling these items in post editor, but it doesn’t work.

Hi. I have used the portfolios to showcase our staff. I have two issues with this. 1) When clicked a staff slide in the slider carousel, it navigates to portfolio page with a photo and complete text which is correct. But the url of this page is http://localhost/mysoulmedic/dt_portfolios/julia-fu/ where dt_portfolios is not right. How can I set it to http://localhost/mysoulmedic/Our-Staff/julia-fu? I have set each staff portfolio in the “Our Staff” category. 2) In the Staff portfolio page, it shows a photo, staff name, a subtitle which I use for the position of staff and text for staff’s profile which are correct. But there is also a tag “Our Staff”. Can I hide this tag or disable the link so that when clicked at this tag it will not navigate? Because when I click at the “Our Staff” tag it will navigate to a page with all staff portfolios in it and sidebar that looks like a blog page. Also in this page the url is not right:http://localhost/mysoulmedic/portfolio_entries/ourstaff/.

b) Now go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Click Save Changes twice. This is to flush the permalinks.

Hi. I changed the filedt-portfolio-post-type.php in …\wp-content\plugins\designthemes-core-features\custom-post-types\ and replaced ‘rewrite’ => true with ‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ‘our-staff’ ) at the code line 108. Now the url becomes right: http://localhost/mysoulmedic/our-staff/julia-fu/ but the portfolio page is not displayed correctly and I got a “404! The page you are looking for is Not Found!” error. How can I fix this?
The portfolio page can still show correctly under url “http://localhost/mysoulmedic/dt_portfolios/julia-fu/” after the change, but not right with url “http://localhost/mysoulmedic/our-staff/julia-fu/” (with the 404 error).

1) Have you flushed the permalinks settings twice as we said? If no please do it and check.
2) Add the below css code to remove the tags from the portfolio single page,

Hi. I received an email from your support that tells me an update to my purchase of SoulMedic | Flat Responsive Medical & Health Theme by designthemes is now available in my downloads. When I clicked the link to download, I was redirected to my downloads area. If I click Download button I can get a zip file themeforest-6282832-soulmedic-flat-responsive-medical-health-theme.zip which is the same file name as my previous download in July. Is this the right update I should download? How can I apply this uppdate? If I replace the theme in my website with this new download, can all my changes be reserved/kept? Thank you!

Yes, that is, the files you need to update. If you have made any custom changes in code, then your changes will not stay back. You need to take a backup of your changes and then update the theme and then place the changes again in the updated version. Follow the below steps,
1) Download the theme from themeforest page.
2) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
3) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
4) go to wp-content/plugins/ through ftp
5) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
6) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

Hi there, thanks for the continue support. 1. I want to place a 3 column posts (from blog) on the main page, and want to hide the “type-date-comment” bar on the left. how do I do that? I have tried to disable the options under the admin>post page, but it doesn’t reflect the changes on main page.
2. Referring to no.1, I want to three separate posts from 3 different categories. But none of the DT shortcodes provide that option. Could you please provide shortcodes?
