Hi great theme so far however I created a list of 27 sentences using the checklist short code and now I need to add something high up in the list between 3rd and 4th sentence. I tried to rearrange the list items – that didn’t work – and each time I added a new one it added it to the bottom. Is it possible to rearrange list items and if not is there a plugin that will work on your checklist short code to accomplish rearranging them?
I can do it myself by going in through the default editor and grabbing the html around the item and moving it – but wanted easier way to show my client.

Hmmm for this case, currently the list items cannot be moved into different place in the builder. But if you switch to the default editor, you can copy a line item and paste it into the area you need, then either edit it there or switch back to the builder to edit. We will be adding te ability to reorder items like that inside the popup soon.

How do i get the page to fit the computer screen, i have it in full width mode and wide but there’s still about 2inches on either side.

For 100% of browser width, you need to make sure you are using the 100% width page template http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/#page-item-266474
However it does depend on what you are trying to do. If you want all content to be 100% width, then set the site width to 100% in theme options > site width. You may need to update your theme to get that feature.
The product category pages are not a regular page to edit, however you can make several changes to the layout in theme options > woocommerce.

Hi, I just want to know if it’s now possible to hide the header over a slider? I saw in the discussion that you were working on an possible update enabling the theme to hide the header over a slider until a specific section when you scroll down. I use a one page parallax on my website and I want to hide the header when people are at the the top of the page over the slider. Or if it’s not possible with your theme, do you have the specific css code to do so. Thank you very much for your help!

Hmm well you cannot hide the header behind the slider. But you can use a transparent header with the header over top of the slider, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/home-version-1/
Or you can choose to put the header below the slider, http://theme-fusion.com/avada/header-below-slider/
Or you can hide the header on the entire page no matter what section you are at.

A quick pre-sale question. Can I convert existing blog posts to portfolio items or can I use existing posts in portfolio without converting?
Also, is it possible to disable the category filter bar above the portfolio images? f.ex. if I have a portfolio page per category, I have no need for filtering.

Hmmm ,blog posts cannot be easily converted to portfolio, you would need to move one over at a time with copy/paste.
Your current theme has portfolio posts? If so, its hard to say if they will convert to our setup since both use their own custom post type. Unfortunately we cannot make any guarantees there since it involves another theme not made by us.
Yes you can disable the filter bar above the portfolio for the portfolio page templates and the recent work shortcode element.
And yes, each portfolio page or recent work shortcode instance can have a specific category assigned or multiple categories.
For testimonials, you can use a small image avatar instead of the icon you see.

My current theme has only blog posts but I use them as portfolio items. So can I show them in your themes portfolio pages? I have so many posts that manual conversion is something I would like to avoid.

If your current theme has them as blog posts, they are not going to convert to portfolio posts until you do it manually by copying each one into a new portfolio posts.

The full width template only goes as wide as the site width you set in theme options > site width.
If you want 100% width, you need to sue the 100% width page template. Check out our docs here that explain each one: http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/#page-item-266474
When using the 100% width page template, you can use the full width shortcode on it to contain content to the site width. But the bkgd image or color you use in the full width shortcode, will extend 100% width. Or any content you place outside of the full width shortcode, will go 100% width.
I would suggest adding the pre-built page from the builder to your site to see the setup. Its home page 18, but it is also most other home pages also. Home page 18 is the largest so it will take a moment to populate on your page after clicking the pre-built button.

Hi I just installed Avada and imported all of your demo content. However none of the sliders have imported in. I have followed your instructions above but cant find where the zipped files are. They are not in my installation. Can you provide a link to the demo slider content so I can upload it?

Where the Revolution Slider and Layer Slider installed and activated before you imported the content? that is the only way they will import.
The Fusion Sliders and Elastic Sliders should still import as long as you have Fusion Core plugin on before you imported.
If you did not have those plugins on, I’d start over. Use the Wp Reset plugin to clear out all the old data then start fresh.

One thing to note, our live demo is having new content added to it, some sliders as well. We have not updated the documentation demo content or the imported demo content yet because we’re still in the process of changing it. So if you see something that is different, you can ask about it on our forum. Or hold off until one of our next updates.

Hmm that looks liek either a customization CSS conflict or a 3rd party plugin conflict. When did it start happening? I’d check those two areas first.

I’ve just found the option “Check the box to disable the ToTop script which adds the scrolling to top functionality” so i think i’m on the good way but i can’t find this “scrolling to top functionality” :/

So you want the same scroll effect that is used on the toTop link to also be used on your regular link?
Have you tried using the “one page text link” shortcode? That will allow a regular link to have the scrolling effect. You could set it up that way, unless I’m misunderstanding waht you are doing.

Hello, flip-boxes does not work in IE 9 and Opera.

They work on our end. Please note that IE9 does not support css3 animations, so the “flipping” action will not happen, that is a browser limitation. They will hover to the back panel though as expected.

i can’t believe how buggy this thing is, if you try to clone a builder elements and then save the page it changes the original one to match the cloned one and you lose ALL the content you had in it. this is annoying….............
