Congratulations! This theme has a huge potential and versatility. I´m considering migrating my magazine to it. Here are a few questions:
1. Is it possible to have a full width Slider Revolution and a grid blog with dual siderbars just below it in the homepage? That would be awesome.
2. Is it possible to control the percentage of the width used for dual sidebars and content?
3. Would it be possible to use one right sidebar in the homepage and dual sidebars in the posts?

1. Hmmm, sidebars will show from top to bottom on the page if they are applied, meaning they cannot start below the slider. This would be awesome though, I’m going to make a note about this and discuss it with our team to see what we can do about it.
2. Yes it is, you have full control over the content and sidebar widths via theme options 
3. Yes, you can control sidebars per page or post, or globally.

Where can I download Revolution Slider plugin v4.2 or higher? Envato told me attackers are able to access my server using older versions of the Slider Revolution. I’m using v3.0.95. Please let me know.

You can update the plugins by updating the theme, We always include the latest theme version in our theme updates. So if one is ready, we will include it. 3.0.95 is a bit old so please update your theme.

We’ve not tested that so cannot say for sure, however it should be fine. But we include our own tooltip feature, and popover. So you can add a tooltip that way.

The full width short code can be used on any page template, the background image or color will show.
What is not showing? I’m not sure I understand.
I put the column option “full width” with a background-color but I want It not boxed on 1170px, I want It on 1900px. Thank you!
The full width element will be contained to the page template. If it stops at 1170px. then you are not using the 100% width template.
Change the page template to 100% width and it will extend out the full way 100%, not 1900px.
The onyl way to get it to 1900px is to set your site width at 1900px, then everything will be at that.

Hi, I’d like to buy this theme, but one of our main requirements is that it supports a more premium way of making ‘posts’ (not pages). We don’t want to use the traditional Wordpress way, but more something like Visual Composer. Does your ‘fusion builder’ also make it easier to create nice layour/content for ‘posts’?

Yes we include a page builder called Fusion Builder, you can build pages or posts like that. If you are familiar with VC then you are good, most page builders work the same like that.

Yes most definitely, it can be any size you need as long as it fits in the header width area.

I am unable to auto update the theme to 3.6.1.(It always says that Your themes are all up to date.)
I also tried to download the zip from themeforest but installation gives me error that folder already exists
i have lot of sitedata and i dont want to lose it.
please help me as soon as possible

You can always update it manually, but if you do it via WP and upload a new theme, it will not allow you if the same name exists. See this link below, look at the “Traditional” method, it shows you how to update it via FTP or via WP http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/how-to-update-theme/
For the auto updater, have you double checked your credentials you entered in theme options? See the information in that above link also. As long as your entered all that info, the auto updater will work and show you an update is ready.
WP only checks every 12 hours for an update, so it may not show right away. But it will show.
If you have entered all that info, then I would advise to remove the generated API key and make a new one, that should do it.

Hi, I’m considering buying Avada. I’m a new user of WordPress also. After starting using Avada in my 1st domain and gaining some confidence in running websites, if I change the domain or website name later – can I use Avada in the 2nd domain/website? Provided that I abandon/discard the old domain/website? Or do I have to remain perpetually locked to the old website name to use Avada even if I don’t like the old name?

Thanks for the comments! One purchase of Avada entitles you to one single license which can be used on one site. If you delete that one site, then yes you can put it on a new one. As long as you only use one purchase for one finished site, you are good

Hello. I am considering buying Avada. I have a question about support for custom post types.
From what I can gather, there is no built-in support for user defined custom post-types. Is that correct?
My site has a number of different custom post-types (recipes, videos, etc.). These are defined using a custom post-type plugin. Am I right in thinking Avada provides no built-in means to display these custom posts?

Custom post types are supported, you can add them to any theme. If they are inside of a plugin then they should show up as long as the plugin is installed and activated. Your custom post types are outside of the theme, meaning we do not control them or maintain them, however any WP theme supports them.

Hi there, Is there support within the theme to control the display (as single posts, and as an archive) of user defined custom post types with the same degree of control that Avada provides for standard Posts, Pages, and the custom types that are built into Avada? Such as controlling sidebars, headers, sliders, using Fusion builder, etc. ?

Hmmm, generally speaking and without actually having your custom post types to test, we would have to say no, the options will not be available to your custom post types. Currently the builder does not support custom post types, but we are adding a hook for that in the near future. I’ll discuss the page options as well with our developing team to be certain.

I purchased the avada wordpress theme yesterday, but i can’t get it installed on my website. I downloaded the .zip file from your website and then i tried to upload it in the admin area of wordpress but then it uploads to 99% and just before it hits 100% it gives me an error and tells me that i have to try again. Well, i tried it at least 20 times on different computers and laptop but it still doesn’t work. What am i doing wrong?

That means the overall file size is too big for what your server has set. You can upload it via FTP or have your host change the values. See the above link.

All you need to do is use the theme as you did before. Easy.
3.6.2 is live and allows you to fully disable the Fusion Builder if you do not want to see the button there
I want to install Avada without the Fusion Builder. This interface pretends help but is a great remora (hindrance) for advanced users, accustomed to use code lines.

It is NOT an obligation, you do not have to use the builder, you can still use the regular editor with shortcodes, etc. Simply click the default editor, which even comes up by default.
In our next version, 3.6.2 coming in a few days, there is an option to disable the builder all together if you choose.
