after setting up the theme we can see the theme name in the url when we click on a portfolio item…. the url is
/?avada_portfolio= then the portfolio item
How do we remove the avada in the url ?

Another Pre-Sale Question: In another theme I am looking at, the Mobile Menu appears more user friendly because in your theme you can only extend a multi-layer menu by clicking the V (down) arrow at the far-right of that menu item, but in this other theme (which I will not mention), clicking anywhere on the menu item will open the sub-menu (not just clicking the down arrow).
So for example, in your theme if I had a Sub-Menu under Portfolio called My Gallery, it would look like this:
Portfolio V
- My Gallery
In your theme I can only press the V to expand the sub-menu, in this other theme I can actually click on the word “Portfolio” to expand the sub-menu as well. Can this be achieved with your theme? I want the mobile experience to be as user friendly as possible.

There is an option to not sue the arrow flyouts (V) and just have everything open.
The other theme must not have the parent level item a link. That is the only way to do that. In your example “Portfolio” cannot be an actual page link, if it was then when you tapped it it would open the page, not expand the menu. So that is partially in the setup.

Presale question: I am interested in purchasing the theme for my corporate website. 1. Regarding the license, if I install in an online test site hosted at whois.com and then install in the actual site in our server hosted internally, would that count as two license? 2. Is there a demo site where I can test the customization? The approved design for our corporate site will require some changes in the header and footer section that’s based from the videos and documentation is not available on the first look. Thank you.

1. Basically one finished site counts for the license. If you are just using it in a testing environment then change it to the live site when done, that is fine.
2. Not at this time, Themeforest does not offer that for themes here. What type of items do you need to change in header/footer? Maybe we can answer that for you upfront.

Oh yes, you can do pretty much anything with code customizations. It may require some PHP and CSS, but yes, it can be done
Hi! I´m thinking about purchasing the theme. I have a couple o questions.
1. Is it posible to implement a “log In” button that displays a “lightbox style” modal dialog to log in?
2. If not. Is there a special page to log in or register? Only with certain data, not the whole woocommerce info. I want to make people register to my site with little information, and in the case that they want to buy something, then they could fill the rest.
3. Is there a way to restrict some posts or pages to users who are not logged in?
4. Can I upload Webfont Kits for type? What are the font options?

1. Yes it is possible, but not out of the box. You would need a plugin that offers that, or perform customization work.
2. If you need people to register to the site, you will need something to control that, like a membership type plugin bbpress or buddypress, etc. Most themes will be like that since this type of feature is best left in a plugin of some kind.
3. Yes you can do that with a membership plugin also
4. Currently we offer one custom font to be uploaded via theme options, we will be adding the ability for more in a future update. After that you can also use any of the google fonts or standard system fonts.

Hi – I can’t get the popular ‘calendarize’ plugin to work with Avada; can you check compatability, and/or let me know any css or other fix? my calendars won’t show events in either of my avada installs

Hi there! There seems to be a bug with the testimonial image upload. I have 2 existing testimonials in the slider on the homepage. When I try to upload 2 different images to each testimonial A and testimonial B, B’s image keeps overriding A’s image after I click Save and Update.

One thing to note, if you use the regular default editor, that should not happen. If it is a bug, it is probably secluded to the builder.

Hi I’ve got a pre-buy question: Is it possible to assign different colors (or color schemes) to different categories? Also icon picker per category I want to run a. Magazine with avada . Hmmm this is pretty specific. You could make a new page and put only certain category on it, and that page can have its own bkgd color or image or other effects, but the posts themselves are going to look the same. However a lot of that is possible with custom CSS. There is not a spotlight article feature either at this time.

Well, you could do any of it with code customizations after sale. But currently we do not offer those features and do not have plans to add them. You can build a magazine theme with Avada because we offer the blog shortcode and recent post shortcode, along with other elements, but the specific colors and icon per category would need to be custom work.

We’ve not tested that ourselves so cannot guarantee it, however it should be fine. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

In favor of the many gallery plugins, we decided to not add one just yet. We saw the majority of users were using them, like NextGen, etc. What we do is gather user input from our support forum, and our ideas section and put the highest requested features in first. Sometimes plans changed based on that, or based on what we see in use.

maybe you misunderstood… by smooth scroll, I mean, when you use the scroll on the mouse and the page scrolls down, it doesn’t do it in sections, but is smooth…. just like the ‘Salient’ theme… the link you sent me is not smooth scroll…..
Hmmm, well Avada does not do it in sections either, it is a regularly scrolling site. However if you are seeing a difference then no, we do not offer it because there are no other options for scrolling. Some of that can be dependent on page content and browsers, but you should check into “jsfiddle”, it is a script that can achieve that I believe.

I have the following assigned to my custom css in the theme settings:
.wpcf7-form .wpcf7-text, .wpcf7-form .wpcf7-quiz, .wpcf7-form .wpcf7-number, .wpcf7-form textarea, .wpcf7-form .wpcf7-captchar, .wpcf7-form .wpcf7-date {
width: auto !important;
}
Now, my form fields are no longer aligned and the buttons are no longer styled to the Avada theme. This only happened after the latest update. Both Avada and CF7 are the latest versions as of the moment of this post. Is there a new css solution to fix this?
