This is just one obvious bug(probably many bugs out there but I don’t want to find out more) and please do not hardcoded your theme like that(how about the user want to have more than 6 elements? ). So hardcode is incorrect way and also redundant, inefficient, bloated….

About hard-coding, I completely agree with you. Of course this one is for our price table and it won’t look fine with many items, so I’ve decided to limit it this way. Of course there are several plugins for anyone who needs a different or more complex price tables.

Also, I don’t think your theme is compatible with wordpress version 4.0. Currently your demos are using version 3.9.2. Please update the version to 4.0 and probably your demo will get problem with ajax push history feature 
(or maybe I’m wrong, so again please update your wordpress version on the demo and I’ll report back whether it’s your theme’s problem or my end)

Thanks for your comment. I’ve not updated the theme to the latest version on the demo site. Vertikal v1.5 is compatible with WordPress 4, so if you’ve purchased it, you may safely upgrade to WP 4. By the way please let me know if you had any issues after upgrading to WP 4 and I’ll be here for help

I just have a suggestion and it’s to turn off sticky menu in your Theme Options. That’s because you have many top level menu items and with an enabled sticky menu, the last items are not visible to the visitors with a small screen.

It should work fine with BuddyPress and BBpress as I’ve seen other clients are using these plugins but please note that I didn’t styled it for these plugins so they may look like their default style in Vertikal and you should style them on your own or by hiring a developer

Portfolios by default in the hover are showing two icons. I was able to edit (custom css) and show only one icon.
This icon in font-awesome is called (if im not mistaken) fa-file Where can I edit this icon? (I want one of my choice)
One more question regarding the URL portfolio:
After changing: ‘portfolio’‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ‘portfolio’ ) into: ‘portfolio’‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ’/’ )
And changing the Permalink settings (as you explained in another post), my pages are giving an 404 error. Can you please help me with this?

I have 2 questions, i hope you can help please.
1. How do i take out the jump on the left side bar. I have Sticky Menu turned off but there is still a tinny jump on the menu/logo when you scroll down. I need the side bar to scole at the same speed as the main content with NO jump…
2. I want to delete the zoom button the the project carousel and just leave it with a click through.
I’ve spent hours searching through the website files and cant seem to find the answer to either of these problems?

Sorry for delay in replying back to your comment. I was away in last 3 days. For now you should do this by editing theme js files. In next version I’ll put some options in theme options.
For now, please find and edit this file:
/themes/vertikal/js/scripts.js
Then on line around 365 find this code:
animation: "slide",
and replace its value from “slide” to “fade”.

I was checking the theme when suddenly my browser (FF) crashed! Being a sycho with crashes I tryied to redo every step I made to see if it will crash again… and it did 5 times in a row!!! Since I read that you got a couple more crash reports I got a little more deep to see what might be the problem. Obviously it is a browser bug since all other browsers that I checked the theme with were working perfectly. What I came up with is that FF don’t like CSS3 transform at all! Especially when a menu item is closing right before a transform. You might want to reproduce it yourself. What I did exactly is I hover “Blog”, all levels till the last one and after that I hover the “Read more” button – the one that transforms the arrow. That was enough to blow FF up!
Till now I was able to test it on my laptop but tomorrow, I will test it on a couple other pcs and will let you know.

I just checked it on two more pcs and FF is crashing on both of them. This makes me more to believe that the transform thing is the reason for the crashing. On the other hand FF on Mac seems to be working fine.

I’ve checked it several times on my side but fortunately (Or even unfortunately) I wasn’t able to make it on my side. By the way, I’ve checked it with FF31. I’ll ask some of my support staff to check it with newer versions on different systems to find out what will happen on FF32 and Windows…

Well I’m still not sure if I’ve got the point properly. If you mean the background color of the logo area which appears above the menu, you may change it with this custom CSS code beside using theme options to change the color:
.header-logo {
background-color: rgba(48,48,48, 0.9);
}
Please note that the above code is based on RGBA color chart so the last one will set the opacity of the background color which you may set it between 0 (100% transparent) to 1 (100% solid).

Hello! I think Vertikal theme is a great looking theme.

After editing, it never saves the files.

1. You may change the effect in Revolution slider by editing each slide and set “Transition” to “No Transition” which is in “Fade” section.
2. If you mean the custom teaser of Visual Composer, it’s not working because we have added our own blog shortcode in Visual Composer and this option is not working in our element. If you want to remove [...], please go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Blog Options” then in “Text to Show After Excerpt” section enter a space or leave it empty.
3. Please go to “Appearance > Theme Options > Custom CSS” and add this code there:
.hover-item {
display: none;
}
This should remove the hover effect on blog posts list.

Hello. We just bought this theme, which is great. I’m having a problem with the search bar in the Top Bar area. When you click on it, the icon moves down and the search field moves off to the left and you can’t see it. Can someone help me with this?
We’re also using WooCommerce. Just as a suggestion, it would be nice if you could add links in the top bar to show Cart, My Account and Checkout. Maybe the ability to add a menu to the top bar so one could create that manually.

1) Could you please add a color selector field for Headings (H1-H6) WebFont color? You currently have to custom CSS a color change.
2) For Default Paragraphs Font Settings, could you add web safe fonts? I typically just use Arial for body font text.

Thank you for your interest in Vertikal! As you correctly said, it’s based on Bootstrap 3 Grid but it’s possible to change it from 1170px to 960px with some custom CSS codes.
Background is a fixed image not a slider but you can change it in different pages.

Hi. I love the Vertikal theme my website looks fab.
However I need to update the Revolution slider from its current version 4.1.1. to the latest version 4.6.0. I need to do this urgently as the web hosting company I use detected security issues and shut down my site. They pinpointed issues with the Revolution Slider.

Please upgrade Vertikal to the latest version by following our docs here:
