OK, I’m stuck….
I have a problem that is being replicated on both my phone, mac and different browsers.
I’ve cleared the cache on the machine and on cloudflare but each time I load the page the full screen Nectar Slider move down and a white gap appears at the top although the menu still reacts like the image is still under it? Please take a look at www.mrmarty.co.uk and tell me it’s just me? if not what could be causing it as I’ve gone through each and every menu option and even started a fresh page but still happens.

Make sure you have nothing set for the page header bg on that page – clear all of the fields set such as the height and colors

I have one question:
I set up the call to action button from the Theme Options section so that three buttons will be shown: one “Email” button that jumps to our Contact Form page when clicked, and two phone number buttons by writing “Email TEL: 123456789 Mobile: 123456789” into the Call to Action Button Text part.
The function works fine but only the “Email” button color can be adjusted by changing the “Call to Action Button Color” option; how do I adjust the color of the two other buttons with the phone numbers and the text color of these buttons as they appear in a different color? i.e., I changed “Email” button” to purple but the other two buttons are light blue for some reason; I want to change them to purple too just like the “Email” button”!

However I have another issue: I just updated Salient to the latest version released but all full-width parallax image sections that I had set up at the top of each page do not appear properly any more since the update, there is just a big blank space where the full width section is supposed to be and the image is not shown at full width. This is the format of my existing shortcodes for those sections:
This used to work fine in previous Salient versions, so I don’t know what happened! Is there a fix for this?

apologies for re posting this but not sure if you will see my replies on later posts.
I am trying to setup a multi language site (just Italian and English for now) and received this link in order to achieve this http://themenectar.ticksy.com/faq/2242 however it doesnt explain how i go about setting up a drop down menu plugin (recommended for salient) with the flags etc as well as implement the multi language system. This is something new to me so a good video or explaining it in detail will be a gr8 help.

Congratulations for the lovely theme, it seems you have covered everything.
A few questions before purchasing it:
1. Does it support ‘multi language’?
2. Does it have restricted area option or is it compatible with any plugin which offers restricted area?
3. Can I change the style of mobile menu?
4. Can I add a fullwidth slide with the option to play video from youtube or vimeo? (it could be even a lightbox)
5. Is it possible to change the ‘portfolio’ name for another word from on the URLs?

2. No custom theme specific options for pw restriction are available other than the default WordPress one
3. That would require some custom development
4. You can have a button link from your Nectar Slider to pop open a video embed in a lightbox
5. Yes, that option exists in the theme options panel

Is there anyway to make a regular Image Gallery in Nectar Slider Style not “rewind” and instead just loop back to the first slide, or also fade instead of sliding?

The option for a fade transition was added a few updates ago – make sure you’re on the current release of the theme to get that feature. Also you can toggle the loop feature on the slider, but the slider will always continuously rotate if you have the autorotate set (it will be cleared when the user interacts with the slider)

For some reason (and I’m not exactly sure when this happened – may have been at the new wordpress update) but I don’t have access to the Salient dashboard in my wordpress backend. I used the “SIMPLE CAROUSEL FOR ANY CONTENT” because I can add a css style to roll over grayscale (because i can’t add css in clients display- or can I?) but, there’s a problem, the simple carousel, don’t let me organise the logos in column like client display… and if the width browser is short the logos go down, and the other problem is that logos dont link to urls… (I test in firefox, chrome and explorer and don’t work)
Can I add the custom css gray scale roll over to de clients display? it could solve all the problems.. I use this css check

absolutely fantastic theme – thank you!
But I have an issue with the headline on the home slider. The caption runs over two lines. And the background of the caption overlaps with eachother. I guess the line-height should be increased. I tried it with the following custom css code:

On the home slider it works, but if I minimize the browser window or switch to the mobile version, the headline is not responsive anymore! The button disappears and the second line gets cut. I would also decrease the height of the background if possible. Either way would be fine for me.

1) A minor issue: I just noticed that the line-height of Page Headline in the mobile size is too small (i.e. the lines overlap). Pls, check for example http://teemuluoma.fi/portfolio/finnair-peace-of-mind/ in the smallest mobile screen size. I’m using the newest version of IE. Could I control this line height?
2) How could I control the normal body text line height?

Am I right that there are (three styles and) three font sizes for Page Headline: the mobile size, the size for medium resolution and the size for high resolution, and in Salient Typography options I can control the font size of Page Headline for high resolution only?
Yet, I’d like the font sizes of Page Headline for medium resolution and high resolution to be the same. How could I do that?
Here is an example page: http://teemuluoma.fi/portfolio/e-excellence-center/ In this case the Page Headline for medium resolution is bigger than the Page Headline for high resolution, which is a bit undesirable.

I was wondering if I can apply that prettyphoto video popup throughout the site and not only limit it to a button URL on the nectar slider..?
For example, I would like to add an image of a play button and when clicked on it the video will popup the same way it does on the nectar sliders.
I tried downloading a few lightbox plugins that do this but they don’t look as crisp. Hope this is an easy solution. Hope to hear from you soon thanks.

But I have a few requests if you could assist!
I have disabled the navigation of the header in the portfolio pages which is great. But we would also like the following things -
A close button in the top right corner that takes you back to the portfolio page. So it sits pretty much where the search button is (which i’ve disabled).
The name of the project to sit in the center of the navigation bar, if this is at all possible? So in the top you’d have ‘logo’ – ‘project title’ – ‘close button’.
And I’ve used the shortcodes to make some buttons but I’d like them to go to the next project but I’m not sure what to link them to in order to get this to work?

I tried to change the background colour of my portfolio page and accidently changed the ‘header’ colour instead, so it created a large rectangle between my logo and my actual portfolio items with ‘portfolio’ written in it.
I’ve managed to resize it so that I don’t have this big gap anymore but I stil have ‘portfolio’ written between my logo and my portfolio items… 
Is there a code I can add to get rid of this?

I have a second unrelated question. When I am looking at the details of a portfolio item, is there a way to automatically get back to the main portfolio page when I have scrolled all the way down the page by any chance?

Hey Claire,
1. To change the BG color of your portfolio items you’d just need to change the row that’s holding the portfolio element to the type of full width background in visual composer and then set the BG color
2. That would require modding the single-portfolio.php file to add your link in place (if you didn’t want to add it in manually in each project at the bottom)

Hey, yes it would only be possible if you edited the init.js file at the carousel section though
on version 4.8.1 I notice the blog pagination isn’t working right. it’s missing the slash between page name ‘news’ and the ‘page’ slug: http://pearlmedia.com.s169484.gridserver.com/news/
