Hello there!
I tried to change the background colour of my portfolio page and accidently changed the ‘header’ colour instead, so it created a large rectangle between my logo and my actual portfolio items with ‘portfolio’ written in it.
I’ve managed to resize it so that I don’t have this big gap anymore but I stil have ‘portfolio’ written between my logo and my portfolio items… 
Is there a code I can add to get rid of this?

I have a second unrelated question. When I am looking at the details of a portfolio item, is there a way to automatically get back to the main portfolio page when I have scrolled all the way down the page by any chance?

Hey Claire,
1. To change the BG color of your portfolio items you’d just need to change the row that’s holding the portfolio element to the type of full width background in visual composer and then set the BG color
2. That would require modding the single-portfolio.php file to add your link in place (if you didn’t want to add it in manually in each project at the bottom)

Thanks for yoru quick reply but I don’t actually want to change the BG colour anymore. I tried to, but my problem is now that I have “portfolio” still written at the top of the page (on top of my first portfolio thumbnail). How can I get rid of that? Thanks!
Hey – the only place I see “portfolio” is in the URL of your single project items, is that what you were referring to or is it something else?

I have found the question asked, but also found it never to be answered. You say that the default number (and also maximum) is 3 columns. But is it possible to only display ONE item at the time in the Carousel?

Hey, yes it would only be possible if you edited the init.js file at the carousel section though
on version 4.8.1 I notice the blog pagination isn’t working right. it’s missing the slash between page name ‘news’ and the ‘page’ slug: http://pearlmedia.com.s169484.gridserver.com/news/

I’ve got 3 different portfolio categories throughout the site. When one views one of the categories, they are able to click through all 3 categories (models, resale, rental). Is there a way where if you are looking through a “models”portfolio details page, that it stops at the last “models” page? Hi, I am considering to propose this theme to a customer of mine and I would ask you: 1. in the contact alternative page – viewing it on iPhone – the map moves inside its box when I scrolli the page: is it possible lock the map? 2. in the contact alternative page, there is an animated down arrow below the text “a creative agency…”. Nice effect, but on iPhone this arrow is not displayed: any possibility to get it visible on iPhone too? Just for info, I tested it on iPhone 4s, iOs 8.0.2. 2. I also am testing the ascend theme and I cannot get the shopping cart and 3 lines pull out icon: http://shop.glamorta.com3. When I view the home page my CPU tops out @ 100%, is there any fix to this ?

1. Yes, that feature is not skin specific – you can turn it on in your header options tab of the salient options panel
2. You need to enable the slide out widget area and the woocommerce cart in the woocommerce tab of your options panel
3. Is that occuring for you on the live demo as well?
4. Do you have the sidebar layout selected with the widget for that in?
5. Switch the skin to ascend to get that (you can still use any dummy data set you want )

Thanks mate! I have another question for you. I need to manage different portfolio pages, so I moved creating differnent portfolio pages filtered with the category selection. I have project categories parented like this: http://cl.ly/image/0T1d1m3x3b1M
Now the question. To sort the portfolio items, I would use the horizontal sortable filter but: - If i select only the childrens (http://cl.ly/image/153f0y413T0C) the results don’t allow to play with the filters (http://cl.ly/image/1n391M0I223q)
- If i select also the parent “Camere” (http://cl.ly/image/1Q3R0F0S3U09) the results contains a “duplicate” that have the same function “All” and “Camere”. (http://cl.ly/image/1r2h453H072b)
How can I “delete” the world “All” or “Camere”? I need only one of these to filter the portfolio items without making confusion to the final user.

and it appears as the icon I wanted but it appears around 4.5px too low and I can’t find the CSS file to remove the 4.5px padding at the top… It also doesnt match the rest of the header regarding colour and delayed transition. You can see this here: www.brindley-fleet.co.uk

Thanks that sorted the positioning problem, but the icon isn’t showing the colour correctly when the page scrolls, I’m guessing that this is because none of the css rules are being applied to it… thanks

The next and previous post links can only be generated automatically through php files since it’s a function – if you wanted to use the shortcode button it would have to be added manually to each page
