I just bought your theme The7 I thought it came with Revolution Slider? I have the most recent version of The7. i just purchased it today. is that no longer installed?

Theme comes with Slider Revolution.
You can found it in full theme package in the “Plugins” folder OR install a pre-packed version via “WP-admin > Theme Options > Appearance > Install Plugins”

Major update will be released in 2-4 weeks. BTW it’s core is heavily rewritten. Therefore, if you performed serious code customization, it can quite hard to update.

It will not be possible to “mix”; BUT sidebar can be enlarged across all site with bit of custom CSS.

That is default menu. You do not need to purchase additional plugins for that.
What do u propose if i want to display a list of portfolio in a widget but without image. Only by displaying title as a link.
Your DT-potfolio projects only display images but i simply need text and no images.

1. With a bit of PHP editing – yes. But there’s a “one h1 tag per page” rule. So search engines will not like these changes.
2. With a bit of PHP editing – yes.

Please note that you’ll have to hire a pro developer to accomplish this customization. Though there’s no much work to do and it will not be expensive.
This is a pre-buy question. I love the theme. I have a question. I have been using Wordpress and NextGEN Gallery and want to make sure The7 will work. I know the theme is compatible, but I have a specific question.
I would like to do gallery posts like this one shown in the Live Preview (http://the7.dream-demo.com/main/2013/06/14/gallery-post/) and see if I can use NextGEN Gallery to do it. I have 3+ years and over 250 NextGen Galleries.
I see to do a gallery like the one I posted above, you are supposed to use: [gallery mode=”metro” columns=”6” first_big=”true” ids=”0001,0002,0003,0004…n”]
Can I use pictures in an already created NextGEN Gallery and have them show up like the Gallery Post I linked to above? Or, is there another way to accomplish this?

That cannot be done easily, unfortunately. You’ll have to customize one of NGG layouts using The7 styles (and this is a task for a pro developer).
Ok. But, is there a way to use galleries or albums (not using NextGEN) and have them show up that way? I am willing to move to change how I have my pictures cataloged if it can be done.
Can I use albums or portfolios and have them populate in a gallery blog post like in the link above?

Hi, Love the theme! Quick question that I can’t figure out with Firebug. I want to change the color of the Portfolio Category WITHIN the image from purple to white (it’s hard to see over the image of the person). I know this is an easy CSS edit, but I can’t figure out the CSS class with Firebug. I know it’s something like this:

According to Envato regular license all themes from ThemeForest requires 1 license per 1 project.
If I have a couple hundred pages that I want to have the same widgetized footer on, separate from the rest of the site, how can I quickly do this?
I try use the mass page edit, but it appears your footer option is separate from that.

1 option. You can use a “default footer” widgetized area. It is being assigned to all pages automatically.
2 option. Select all pages; select “edit” in “bulk actions” dropdown; click “apply”. That will give you the option to bulk assign sidebars/footer to your pages.

Probably it is technically possible. But you’ll have to customize the slider code significantly. Only pro JavaScript developer is capable of doing so and I suspect it will not be cheap.
