Creating a second API key has nothing to do with creating a new account or your email, you simply login to your main account and add another license. There is not an option to add captions out of the box, but customers are welcome to customize the base functionality as needed for their specific needs. You can select from 1-4 rows for how you’d like to display your portfolio items on the portfolio index.

We include a customized version of VC that works with our Shortcodes only. As such we do not provide updates to the standard plugin due to how the plugin is integrated within X. Customers are welcome to integrate any 3rd party plugin they wish (including the standard VC version), however from a support and update standpoint, we only support the integrated version.

I love this theme and used it for a client. Now, I have another client to use it for. Do I just purchase it again from themeforest, or is there a way to purchase another license key for it? Just want to make sure you guys get the money you deserve. Thank!

Regarding the Featured Carousel in Ethos, It isn’t resizable via the Customizer, but it’s something that can easily be done with a couple lines of CSS.

We recommend and provide child theme templates for our customers (in our member center), so as long as your edits are done there as opposed to the core theme files, updating to new versions will be a breeze.

Hello. I really like your theme and consider to buy it. My problem is that I will take a Chinese (.cn) and a normal (.com) domain. Inside China for faster finding and outside China for trust reasons. Both domain will have the same content, just in a different language. Should I buy your theme 2 times then? Cheers.

Yes, the license is for a single use on one domain, so if you were going to use X on two domains, you would need 2 licenses.

That particular page was customized for our own use, however it is losely based on our Integrity 01 Demo with the only major difference being a customized navigation we created for that page. We put together a video tutorial on recreating the look of the Integrity 01 demo here (about half way down the page). The only final step you would need to do would be to activate the one page functionality which you can read more about on our Knowledge Base here.

Out of nowhere, I can no longer log in to your support site. I have tried retrieving our password to no avail. Further, I have attempted re-registering only to find I cannot do that as the purchase code has already been utilized. So, hopefully I can get some help here.
The theme is good and has pretty much met our expectations as regards performance. However, we cannot defer the parsing of specific theme file JavaScript without ‘breaking’ the whole website. Specifically, x-head.min.js and x-shortcodes-head.min.js. The only way we have found to be able to async/defer these is via CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader; that, however, kills our ability to inline Critial CSS…. In short, standard HTML5 attributes, such as defer and async simply do not work, and break jQuery-dependent FitText and couched animations (amongst other things).
So, the question is this: how are those scripts enqueued and/or why can they not be deferred? Or/asked differently: HOW can these scripts be deferred without ‘breaking’ the website?
Were this a problem isolated to a single instance, I wouldn’t be applying any pressure. But, the problem is that we’ve run into this with not only our own, but EVERY client site making use of your theme (131 total instances).
We’re selling performance, and unless some means are presented to us (or an update presented) that allows the deferred parsing of your theme’s JS, we will be switching themes and recommending our clients do the same.

Firstly: We, as an entity, have not purchased your theme as many times as we have clients using it. We merely have 131 total clients making use of your particular theme. Glad, nonetheless, that you appreciate our contribution to your livelihood.
Secondly: I will follow your direction and contact you as instructed. That said: spontaneous, inexpiable problems logging on to your support forum seems a common problem (cf. above posts). Ergo, it would behoove you to provide a general explanation as to why, here.
Lastly: As stated, I will follow your direction and contact you as instructed. Logic, of course, dictates, however, that you provide any and all informed audiences with a rudimentary interest (here in Envato where you make your money) with an answer as to why your theme’s framework .JS cannot, in any version/iteration of the X theme, be deferred or asynced without the website breaking.

We have responded to your email. While you can imagine there are a myriad of potential login issues – we have tens of thousands of customers with a range of email providers and understandings as to how logins work (and the problems that can arise related to that). Ergo, these are common issues related to accessing a membership are with so many people and potential points of failure. As you no doubt have experienced first hand with the many topics you have brought up in our forum, our support staff is always quick and courteous should there be an issue. We have hundreds of people weekly who join, register, and login just fine (as well as many controls in place to make sure everything is running as it should). We appreciate your concern.
If you would like a public response to what is a very involved answer, we would be happy to oblige.
In our efforts to maximize performance for everyone, X pre-minifies and concatenates all the required JavaScript functionality. The result is 4 files: 2 for X (theme) and 2 for X – Shortcodes (plugin). There are 2 head files, and 2 “body” (i.e. footer) files. Regretfully, you can’t defer the head files to the footer – they must load in the header, which is precisely why these scripts are split out into two groups like this. This is because there are a few features that require early loading to function properly. For the most part, X specific scripts that load in the head are very small.
The background video library we use (BigVideo) requires being loaded in the header for our purposes and is what constitutes most of the file size. If you don’t need this feature, and you’re interested in our custom development service, we could look at alternate solution with that library removed. For example, we could work out a custom combination of scripts that gets loaded through a child theme.
Additionally, based off of the response you’ve given in the support forum, you seem to mention the inline JavaScript utilized for some of our Shortcodes, such as responsive text. While it is true that these calls used to be placed inline, they have since been output to a buffer in recent versions of the Shortcode plugin, which ultimately places all of their output in the footer. Based off of your description in the forum, it sounds like you might be running an older version of the theme/plugin, which could be giving you problems here as well.

The license is registered to the domain (for automatic update purposes), but you are welcome to purchase the license to the actual theme yourself (for your client) and manage that between you and your client.

I actually just got it done. The purchase code is different from the license code downloaded from evanto. You should update this on the registration page. The code provided in the email of my purchase worked great!
Great! There is a link on our registration page that shows how to find the item transaction ID, and this is what is needed to register as explained on that page. You can access it by clicking Where can I find my item purchase code? which takes you to this screenshot.

I see that you have your own version of Visual Composer. I have already purchased VC for use with another theme. Are there any compatibility issues I should be aware of? I’d like to be able to use the purchased version of Visual Composer because its easier to keep up to date if at all possible.
