Hi, I uploaded the new version of Heap and I got error, like
“Fatal error: Class ‘WPGradeOptions’ not found in /home/shinjilab/mushiba-labo.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/.zip/wpgrade-core/bootstrap.php on line 40”
What’s the problem? Now I even cannot login to my wp. How can I solve this problem?

There isn’t a built in function in the Heap theme that would let you do that, but you can find some free plugins that can help you do that on wordpress.org, for example this one but you may dig a little deeper to see what suits you best.

We currently don’t have a slider. This would require some custom coding. Maybe in the future, if there will be a high demand from the customers, we’ll consider this.

I bought your theme today and have been using the built in theme editor, this is fine apart from when I started changing the Fonts for the headings and body etc in the customize section. I believe there may be some bad code in the javascript as it caused some security issues with my servers. When I went to save the changes I’d made the page didn’t refresh and I would then be blocked from accessing the site due to the security settings on my servers. I am now not using that section of the theme editing options because of this. This is the error report I got back:

You can configure what sharing buttons to show via the Theme Options. There is no need to modify files.

Regarding the first question – the theme doesn’t have this option built-in, you can achieve that if you perform some custom work. As for the second question I think with some CSS you can get that. I would be happy to help you regarding the second issue if you became our client!

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have this feature, at least for the moment.
Do you expect an update on the skin? Very few issues are straining with this theme design. Hiding part of the post, with the cap site. Miniature proportions on your mobile device. I have created a ticket on these issues, but the decision was not followed …

I was wondering if it’s possible to make the “featured image” larger on the home page, and not get cropped to 177×177 px. First, because I’d like it to be larger… and then when the site goes into responsive mode, viewing at smaller viewport, the site is enlarging those 177×177 thumbnails to the full width of the screen! which look awful.

You can change the size of the thumbnails by going to theme-folder/theme-utilities/includes/functions/thumbnails.php and change the post-square-small size to your wish. After that not forget to regenerate the thumbnails using a plugin.

Thank you for the response! That seems to work for creating a larger thumbnail on the home page featured image. however, the image still gets used for the smaller viewport… so now that I changed it to 225×225 px, that image is getting enlarged and looks pixelated on mobile. Any fix for that? Also, is there any way to have more than one thumbnail/featured image appear on the home page, instead of just one from a post? Thank you very much for your time and assistance!

Hey Matt and sorry for this late response! I think you should try to get even bigger with the image, so not get enlarged on any viewport. Regarding different images – unfortunately that would involve some custom work.

Hi I recently bought this theme, it looks great but having a few issues customising it which could be a deal breaker in terms of actually using it. Sorry for posting here, but it seems more active than the support forums in terms of getting help.
1. I changed the menu font colour using this code: .nav—main > .menu-item > a { color: #a3a3a3; } but now the hover over menu font colour doesn’t work. Although it still works in the customizer which is odd.
2. Is there anyway to change the colour of the Wordpress tagline font under the logo?
3. On the homepage is there anyway to change the font colour for the post information? By this I mean the colour of the excerpt text, category text.
4. Final one and this is really annoying. It doesn’t happen on your demo but when my page loads a different menu font flashes up before changing to the properly selected menu font. Is there a fix for this issue?

4. I have realised the whole website flashes up in a different font when it first loads, not just the menu font.
5. Could you tell me how you sized the image when formatting your Minimalist Postcards of Superheroes post?
Whenever I add a featured image it becomes huge so I disabled the featured image with post, but would prefer to keep the images if possible.

Most of the questions involve some CSS experience and you can find most of the classes using an inspector tool. Anyway – I find those for you below:
1. There is a problem with the specificity, you should try this: .nav—main a { color: red; }
2. You can target the .site-headerdescription class
3. Yeah – apply the color rule to those classes: .article-archive .articlecontent a, .article-archive .meta-box, .article-archive .meta-box a, .article-archive .article__categories a
4. That might happen due to the font not loading as fast as the rest of the page – unfortunately I’m not sure about a workaround yet besides what we’re using already. Just make sure you have the latest version of Heap.
5. They are splitted into two columns using the “Column” shortcode.

Thanks considering our theme. Heap doesn’t have an option for adding a slideshow on the top, but I think you can do that using a page as your homepage (not the blog page) and a plugin for sliders. Unfortunately I didn’t tried one so I can’t recommend you one.
