Is there a way to add a slight delay to the mega menu as well as increase the clickable area?
It’s kind of easy for the mouse to leave the mega menu container and the menu immediately disappears. A short delay would allow the user to get back on track without losing the menu.
Adding to the clickable area around the individual menu items would also make the click easier… users would have a little room to miss their mark but still get to their page.

The delay topic is a valuable point and we’ve discussed these in the past and might be adding some kind of delay or addition to allow this. The actual menu item though we feel is good the way it is, for example in this screenshot the entire highlighted area is clickable: http://d.pr/i/IfLZ

On mine, only the text is clickable. The rest of the menu box surrounding the text only holds the menu upon when hovering.. but you cannot click till you are directly over the text. Did you need to do something in the settings to make the entire highlighted area clickable?
Hmmm no nothing has been done on our end, that is the default setup. I would check any customizations you have done, or 3rd party plugins. If using a child theme, try the default parent theme as well.

We’ve not used that plugin before, but it should be able to be done. Although the top header bar is not widgetized, so you may need to place it in the header.php file of the header you use.

My question is can I choose anything from any version and put them in one website. For e.g Can I make my website, from choosing something from Version 3, version 10, version 13 and version 18 or any other combination ?

VC will work with Avada but our shortcodes will not integrate with it, we recommend our page builder. It is easy to use and you should feel at home if you used others.
We’ve not tested it with Essential Grid so cannot say but it should be fine
bbPress and WooCommerce will be fine, we recommend those and support them.

hey guys! thanks again for your theme. i have 2 copies of it and still happy! My question: is it possible to slightly move a google map pin in the contact page? it is actually pointing on a right building but i d like to move it a little higher.
Thanks for the comments and purchases! Hmmm that is controlled by the mad address you insert or long/lat and the Google Map API controls where it is placed. You may be able to add custom CSS like some bottom or top margin to move it up, which could work. I’d recommend posting on our forum with the link so our team can inspect it and see.

Hi, I need you to fix a bug in the theme.
Thanks for a very good theme. I am using your portfolio classic > portfolio 4 here http://www.trailerplans.com.au/gallery/ . But in lightbox thumbnail, it shows items from other filters. I just don’t want other categories pushing their content on other categories in lightbox. I think a standard, ideal lightbox shouldn’t have this kind of problem. Can I get this fixed please?

This is actually how it is setup, the lightbox is going to show the first featured image of any post on the page, even outside of the selected filters. We do have plans to look into this and give more flexibility to the user, but I cannot say exactly when that will be done. It is more of a feature request/ quality improvement but we will be looking into it at some point soon.

Is there a shortcode for a lightbox gallery? I see “lightbox” in the demo. But no gallery or image gallery option. I’ve seen other themes that have lightboxs but when you use multiple images in a page you wont be able to scroll through them in lightbox? Is this available or do you recommend an add on?

You can use the default WP gallery and it will crate a lightbox with gallery. outside of that I would recommend a plugin like NextGen gallery or other similar ones.
We will be adding built in galleries (image and videos) to Avada but I cannot give an exact date for that. Sometime in a future release.

ok I saw the NextGen Gallery plugin. So have you run into compatibility issues with this plugin before with avada? If there are any…will avada support be able to assist me or is that something I have to contact nextgen’s support about.

We are not aware of any issues with the current build. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

Thanks for the purchase! For a membership site you will need to sue a 3rd party plugin and it will depend on what type of services you are offering. For example a forum use bbPress, or community type of service try BuddyPress, etc.

For this you will need to use the free Contact Form 7 plugin, we add custom styles so it looks like Avada forms. The plugin allows you to make unlimited forms, and insert them on any page or post with a shortcode.

1. How do I prevent the email arriving from the contact Form saying Word Press <wordpress@xyz123.com>?
2. What is the best and lightest slider to use for the home page that will display full size 100% width images taking up the entire page… is it the responsive or layer slider or is the Fusion one ok also … I need to have text overlays? ** I’m trying to have it as light as possible to load as obviously the images will be around 220 k each
3. Does your theme have a built in light box that I can use for a Gallery which creates all thumbnails and large images with descriptions at a touch of a button with various categories like dogs | cats| Horses | Camels| etc. or do I need to buy a plugin? I t also would be great to add these galleries into other pages (if needed) by short code?
4. I used the calendar widget in the footer but it displays all squished up Only taking up half of the allotted width space – ( I have the footer displaying IN 4 SECTIONS?

2. I’d recommend using Fusion Slider
3. Check out teh default Wordpress Gallery you can use, outside of that I would recommend a gallery plugin like Nextgen

5. That will not happen since it is our theme option field.
6. You would need to edit our contact.php file, or we recommend using the free Contact Form 7 plugin which will look just like our form.
7. The easiest way will be to enter the text or menu items in all caps. If not you need to use css to target that text.

9. Unfortunately Themeforest does not offer a discount. One single license needs to be bought for each site that it is used on.
