The animation files included are for Adobe Edge Animate CC not for Adobe Animate CC please make sure you have the correct software to open the included files. Adobe files are cross platform so there wont be anything you cant open on a Mac.

Hello michaelferreo,

Have you re-linked all the edge animate assets in the assets panel? Also have you modified the scroll effects on the background fill, that is what’s used to achieve the parallax effect.

I’m sorry to hear you are having some difficulties with the template.

The animated elements are created in Adobe edge animate, so they have to be edited in that software.

For a quick fix you can go to the folder containing the icon you want to replace & put in your own icon with the same name as the original & then delete the original so that your icon takes its place. I would advise you to use the same dimensions so you know it is exactly the same.

You also have to update the asset in muse, in the assets panel to reflect your changes.

Hi again, i haven’t actually made any changes to the edge animate files yet. i purely want to make sure they work before i make changes to the template. I go to the Edge animate folder > Headlines > Services – Headline. This seems to be where all the js files are along with an an file which if you double click you are then taken to edge animate so you can modify etc. There doesn’t seem to be an oam file here so am i to assume that the template does not come with these files already working? Do you have to modify the existing an file, publish and save to the publish folder? Sorry if i’m confusing you! It’s just that another template i bought had the oam file included with the template. OK forget everything i just typed lol! I’ve cracked it!! Relinking the assets i just had to go to the published folder within the edge animate folder and relinking one of them relinked the rest Now all i have to do is crack the contact navigation link! It does exactly the same in the live demo when i looked before i purchased but thought maybe it was just the demo and when i bought the template it would be different but alas it is the same. I did try deleting the anchor and making another one and linking them but it didn’t change! Will have another go when i get back on my laptop tomorrow. Getting there though, thanks for your help

I’m glad you figured out how to get the edge animate files working. I have put them in the published folder to save time when re-linking them so you don’t have to do it one by one. It does state that in the documentation.

Regarding the contact link not turning to the down state I’m not sure what is causing that because it work’s when I have checked it on all the demo’s & the project files. Maybe try changing the down state on the navigation links & see if that works.
