Theme seems great. Can you set layout exactly as you want? If so how? I have used some different page builders, and don’t like all of them… Is Visual Composer integrated? If not, will your theme work with it?

Yes you can use VC with Avada, however our custom shortcodes can be used with it but will not have a visual preview, you have to use them with a text block element, inserting them via our shortcode generator. But if you are familiar with VC, it should be easier to use our builder which comes with the theme purchase.

The styling colors are all controlled in theme options > styling tab. Look under the main menu colors tab.

Can you please provide more information on that as I asked above so we can have a clear understanding of what you are trying to do? And please provide a link to your site (not a local host) so we can see. It may or may not require code customizations, I’m not sure since I do not fully understand what you need.

I loved your template. Is there a way to use your template as HTML? I don’t want to use it under Wordpress and PSD will give me too much work since it does not contains all the animations and effects.

Woo only allows you to have one shop page so that one you see is simulated. But it is easy to create, find your shop page and edit it. Then in the page options, choose to use a sidebar. Save it and it will show a sidebar on the page.
For sidebar content, you can add widgets to the sidebar selected. See this section from our docs: http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/

The shop page are all products and not portfolio items. So you need to have WooCommerce installed, then create a shop page. If you imported demo content and had WooCommerce installed, then our demo shop will be imported. If not, install the woo plugin separately, then create products that way. Hello, If I purchase this theme, will I need additional plugins for shipping? I have products that come in different sizes and scents. I use priority rates for all my products. Here’s an example: Small boxes (1-4items) for 6.95 Med boxes (5-20 items)for 11.95 Leg boxes (21-30 items) 15.95 . We only ship within the US. We currently use PayPal standard. We also designated rates at PayPal for shipping already.
Again I’m wondering if this can all be done without purchasing additional plugins. Thanks in advance. Cominback

Actually Im using woocommerce already but haven’t been able to make it work, that is why I asked. Was hoping for more than “you should be able to”.. Not a very good response to a pre-buying question..Can I get a yes or no please? That would be more helpful. Thanks
I apologize I did not know you were using Woo, that would of provided a different answer. I should of been more clear. This is a unique question not related to the theme, but to the plugin you are using for eCommerce. Since this type of feature is handled outside of themes themselves, we try to defer to the plugin that handles it. I myself have not tried this before so I do not know for certain, but my understanding is that WooCommerce does offer this.
I did a little research and found this on their home page …
Shipping – Set up shop with the options of offering free shipping, or flat rate shipping.
So it should not be a problem at all and appears to be a built in feature. I’m sure you have already since you tried, but check out the shipping tab in the settings of the plugin: http://d.pr/i/gnto
If you are unable to get that to work with your current theme then I would ask the theme author if they know of why that may be, or it might be better to get in touch with WooCommerce support since it is all handled in the plugin. Avada or any theme does not handle that type of feature, but if you purchase Avada for this and have difficulty setting it up, we will gladly take a look o our support forum to see what is going on. But it should most definitely be possible as the plugin site says.

Thank you for the response. I tested several different ways on the shipping settings like you suggest and still nothing. I’ll go back to woocommerce support because I don’t want to buy another theme just to find out it doesn’t.Thanks again.
I’ve looked some more over the past 15 minutes and it should definitely work from what I see. I tried finding some common issues for why it may not and the only thing that really stands out as to why it could be is the configuration of the settings. There is a chance something with your current theme is causing a conflict, to test that you could enable the default WP theme and see if you get different results.

Still no response from wootheme support so I’ll go back to the drawing board. I was able to get it to work once the user gets to paypal but on the site it’s still not right. I’m hoping it is just a settings error. Again, I appreciate the help.
I believe WooCommerce support is closed over the weekends … yeah they shut down. So you should be hearing from someone today or tomorrow for sure on that.
I’d also recommend contacting the theme author, they may know what is going on too. Whoever does check it out, most likely they need login info and be able to see your setup, or be able to share screenshots back and forth. Unless Woo support knows of a common issue and can quickly tell you.

I am having issues making the accordion work. I have read through all the past comments and issues with it and have tried the various suggestions but still not succeeding. Could you please take a look and advise.
What happens is that it doesn’t open and close. I am using it in a system with team members for different departments and need the page to open with the list of departments and the option to drop down each list to reveal the staff.

This could be a plugin conflict, have you tried to disable any extra 3rd part plugins? Also I see you have customized them also, try it with the default parent theme to ensure it works as it should. If it does then that will help narrow down what changes you made that might be causing it.

Hello, I will look at the plug ins but i have tried to just do a normal accordion (using the varieties said in your forums) without any information in them to test it but yea no luck.. you can see those on this page..

Oh that is the product slider for WooCommerce and can only be used on that single product page. It would require code customizations to use it elsewhere.

You can put multiple locations on our google map, that is not a problem, and each of them can have a custom map marker too. But if you need a search option then you would need to customize or find a plugin that offers that.

Sorry, I don’t think you understood, as I can’t see it in your demos. Short description / excerpt for products, not categories, when you edit a product there is a section at the bottom, like for Wordpress post (it’s called excerpt). Did you understand that? Can you please show me a link if so? Thanks. I am using PrimaShop which has this option, but the developer ran away again, so I really have to get a new theme. Also, do you only support full page background video via the fusion slider, or are there other options available?
Hmm does that theme use WooCommerce? Default Woo uses a “Product Short Description” field which kind of acts like the same thing: http://d.pr/i/PDWW
Any field though that is there on the products can be used and will show.

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant! Yes PrimaShop was actually built for Woocommerce, and it/was one of the only few themes that allowed to show/hide Product Short Description, at my request years ago first with FlexiShop2, which was removed from Envato, now I feel PrimShop will have the same fate / same author sadly.
Back on topic, with PrimaShop, you can show/hide this option for product archives and/or single product pages. Which is very flexible. For instance, I us Product Description in Shop archives only, but not in single products. Is this possible with your theme? Thanks again

Ah I see, there is not a built in option to hide that, however it could be done with custom CSS for your single product pages. And it is possible that we could add this as an option in a future release if it is asked about enough.

I removed the toggle codes on one of the pages. After updating, the entire site has shifted left. I tried recovering to it’s previous revision but no luck.

Hmmm … removing the toggles from the page, or any other page content should not cause that. This appears that default code was removed. Have you edited any theme files? If so please upload the originals again and it will be fixed.

Hello, thank you for your reply. No, the files were not edited. If I upload the the files again, will all the work done to the site be lost?
The only way work will be lost is if you have changed the theme code. If the only thing you did was add page content and change theme and page options then it will be fine. But if you modified the PHP, CSS or JS files, then those will be lost unless you made a child theme.
The shift to the left is not something that will happen by default, it was either a bad upload or something changed in the files, or it is from custom css changes.

Hi, I’ve found some bug.
The site url is saved into db directly.
So if I migrate the site, site is messed because of site url is changed. And slliders also doesn’t work. slider image url is saved into db directly.
