hello,

Before buying the theme, I read the forum entries but I only found something. I have the wpml plugin and I’d like put the menu of languages on the top header just next to the social icons or email and phone. I’ve seen the photo with this menu in this top header but this next to the menu items like contact, blog, etc. Do you have any photo or information with my issue ?

Yes this can be done, WPML allows you to place the language switcher in the top header bar (left or right) or the main menu. We do not have an example of that right now, but it will look right at home with our menu styles.

Hi,

Our IT is concerned about a news he read regarding “CryptoPHP malware” that seems to target themes/plugins of free CMS. I’d like to make sure that Avada theme (I’ve installed the last version 3.6.2) is safe and secured against this malware. Can you confirm that? If not, will you issue an update that will secure the theme?

Our theme is 100% safe as long as it is purchased from Themeforest.

That malware can only happen from a pirated copy of software.

Hi there,

Attempting to add some opacity (not transparent) to the main header but I can’t seem to get an CSS to work without dimming the text as well.

Do you have a quick fix for this?

Hey

Are you using 3.6.2? There is a opacity setting in theme options > styling already that you can use without custom css.

If you have further questions or need assistance with that, please signup at our support center and post a new topic in our forum. Include all the details about the issue, your site URL and version of Avada. For faster service, please include your WP and FTP login info when creating the thread. Dear Support,

Few things.

Inspired by the retro theme found on http://themes.opendept.net/retro-portfolio-4, I am working on the first part of my freelancing website, www.ironskycreative.com to play around with your product. I am embarrassed to ask but I was not able to figure out the issues below:

1.) I am trying to bring header background (Blue) and “home” section background (blue) together as “one section”, but why am I see a white game between them? Exactly what is this for?

2.) How do I edit the navigation menu font size to make it bigger and bolder.

3.) Don’t you have twitter feed shortcode? If not, what do you recommend?

4.) Have you fixed the iframe part when someone click on image so it triggers iframe showing URL website within the website? Thanks.

Hey Erik!

Never worry about asking, that is the best way

1. That is the menu background color for that header style, I think you are using header 5. There is a color setting for that in the styling tab of theme options. But if you need an image, you will need to use custom CSS to insert one.

2. This is a setting in typography tab in theme options. If you dont see this then please upgrade to latest version.

3. Yes we do, its called “Avada: Twitter”.

4. iFrames should definitely work.

Thinking about purchasing your theme. We have been trying to use another theme “Health Center” by another author and have become very frustrated with deploying the theme. We are novices, not entirely new to wordpress.

My question is simply… is this theme novice friendly? We have spent more hours trying to navigate the backend of our current theme, and figuring out how to use the theme than any other we have ever purchased and used successfully.

How well does your theme integrate with: The Event Calendar Pro by tri.be? Ninja Forms? BBpress?

Hey!

We certainly feel it is novice friendly and have many new comers to WP use it and love it. I can’t say that every new person had an easy time with it, but we get good reviews all the time supporting that.

Every theme has a little bit of a learning curve, its just a matter of figuring out how they built it to work. We spend a lot of time ensuring that is understood, and can help with any questions you have in our support forum.

Event Calendar and bbPress will be fine, we’ve not used Ninja Forms though but that should be also, however we do recommend using Gravity Forms or Contact Form 7 as we include added design styles for those so they look like avada.

Hi Avada developers: Any word on when we will see the ability to use self hosted or Vimeo videos as full width backgrounds inside fullwidth containers on 100% width page templates with parallax option? I would like to be able to place any of the Avada shortcodes and othe content inside fullwidth containers but have video background option in addition to images and custom colours. If not on roadmap, do you know of any plugins I can use? Thanks!

Hi Pre Sell question,

2 days ago i bought X theme on themeforest, bud i’m not happy with this theme because it to much coding, there is no theme panel anything limited options, i’m noob ad coding. I got a questions like the header can i add pattern in the header like this.

Hey

Yes you can easily add a background image to the header and other parts of the theme. As long as you have that pattern as an image, then it simply takes uploading it in our theme options panel.

Avada is built in a way that tries to eliminate the need for custom coding. Our extensive options allow you to do many things with a few clicks.

Thanks for the interest! The license that is sold is good for one finished site. If your two sites are sub domains and contain similar content then that will work, but if they are two different sites then it does require two licenses.
