Hey Adam,
Quick two questions – firstly, are you going to create a Listify specific Google group like we’ve already been using? Secondly, how do I activate the social login – is it the manual somewhere?
Thanks!
We styled a WooCommerce Social plugin, but you can use any social login plugin you wish (may need to add your own styling though)
Out of the box the WooCommerce Social plugin looks like this:
Not sure about a Google Group but feel free to create one
Cheers! Adam
Is the plugin shown in the example the WooCommerce Bookings Extension?
This is the example of how the WooCommerce Bookings Extension would display on your Listify powered site: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listing/8-s-san-marcos-pl-chandler-az-85225-united-states-santan-brewing-company/
See where it says “Book a Table” that can be customized.
Cheers! Adam
Awesome. So when a user is using the “woo commerce Product Vendor” Plugin they can create they’re pages to look just like that along with other products that will display in that same way? For instance if the has several shop items to upload along with they’re listings will it show all unified. They create a listings, they can add some products, they can add a table booking and its all in one unified look as shown on that page?
And I saw another comment about the crowd funding plugin. Will it work with the woo commerce crowd funding plugin shown in the Envanto market place? galaxy-funder-woocommerce-crowdfunding and woocommerce-deposits-partial-payments-plugin

Answer: Yes, that is correct! You can list any type of WooCommerce product, i.e. booking, physical product, digital product etc and it will display the same way.
Regarding crowdfunding I answered someone who had the same question here: http://themeforest.net/item/listify-wordpress-directory-theme/9602611/comments?page=3#comment_8519668

On the homepage, is it possible to replace the “Get The Exposure You Deserve” block with a blog post? I like how “Get The Exposure You Deserve” work but it would be nice if it was the latest blog post and if we click the button it goes to the blog post.
You can place any widgets you wish on the home page including “Recent Blog Posts”
We use widgets to build pages, see screen shot:
More details here on widgets that can be used: http://listify.astoundify.com/category/199-widgets

Hey, Thank you very much for the greatest theme ever!
Why do the listings with german adresses not showing up? Do I have to activate something first?
Thanks for your help, Moritz
Hey there! Glad you’re loving the theme.
Any valid address should be plotted on the map. Can you please submit a support topic via http://support.astoundify.com/ with an example address you are using?
Thanks!
Also, how much control (without custom php and whatnot) do you have of the submission fields and what the different packages may include?
And, if I wish to buy WooCommerce Bookings, will I be able to charge users for using that plugin on their listing? Or by a fee per booking? And are the users able to setup the different booking options?
You can completely customize the submission fields using the field editor plugin if you do not know PHP.
Not sure about the question regarding booking fees with WooCommerce Bookings as we did not create the plugin.
Pre-sale:
1) How does this theme handle users with different packages?
Is it possible to cut off access to specific pages for some users having Package X and allow user having package Y?
2) Also, how well does it integrate with bbPress?
3) And, how about featured listings?
4) Is it necessary to have WooCommerce Subscriptions in order to have packages with recurring payments?
1. You can create custom packages i.e. one can have the feature of “featured listing”, you can specified different renewal periods per package, etc.
Screenshot of subscription packages setup:
We are wanting to give even more control over the package creation so that you can limit access to certain fields depending on what package a business has selected.
Keep in mind this is a feature that we are actively working on and have added this to our roadmap. Keep checking back or I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.
You can create packages with the “featured listing” option.
2. BBPress is currently unstyled but we are planning to style the plugin.
3. You will need both WC Paid Listings and WooCommerce Subscriptions to create recurring packages, plugins sold separately, there are a number of Subscriptions plugins for WooCommerce such as this, we choose to showcase the official Subscriptions plugin in the Listify demo.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks for the quick reply! Great! Regarding my first question, what I meant was: Is it possible to have i.e. a page called “For Business Owners”, which only users with a specific package can access this page.
You can use any sort of content restriction plugin to restrict pages based on a certain role. Users that have created an account through the listing submission process are assigned a separate role so you can cater content to those users.
Please PM me demo of Backend… Too often I come across themes which looked good but are only pieced together with TONS of Widget and Plugins.. Understanding plugins make life easier but natively build features well they work much better…
So yes, please Include me in the PM of demo link when its ready…Any ETA of Backend Demo?
Sure we will PM as soon as we have a working backend demo.
ETA currently unknown as we are trying out a new plugin to manage the backend demo called “NinjaDemo“
Cheers! Adam
Better idea, please subscribe to our mailing list once the backend demo is ready we will send out an email.

Hi. Pre-sales question. I’ve been in the market fo a suitable directory theme for a while. This looks like it fits the bill. Do you know of a source of compatible animated images to personalise the site. Does your system allow cropping / resizing of these images. It will be a food based website for the UK market.
Hey Paul, hows the weather in the UK?
The only animated images stock sites that come to mind, without me Googling are:
http://www.videvo.net/http://www.lifeofvids.com/
http://www.xstockvideo.com/
http://www.vidsplay.com/
http://www.motionelements.com/free/stock-footage/
Images that are uploaded are auto cropped using the media settings in WordPress.
Cheers! Adam
Hi Adam. Frosty!! Thanks for the tips. I’ll do some research.
Do you have a demo theme to access the backend?
We are working on creating a demo theme where you can access the backend but it is not currently ready. If you like I can send you an email once it is ready?
Cheers! Adam
Pls do. thx
Okay I will PM you.
Better idea, please subscribe to our mailing list once the backend demo is ready we will send out an email.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks for checking out the Listify theme the “last directory theme you will ever buy!”
We are super excited for the launch of this product and we think you’ll love it as much as we do. If you are looking for details on the theme check out our sales page and also our theme documentation.
We always love feedback and questions and all those “Good luck with sales comments” so keep them coming
Please don’t hesitate to provide us with feedback on features you’d like to see as we want to listen to our users and give them what they want if there is a large enough demand for it.
Cheers – Adam.
What GothamCoffee said 10 hours ago was
Hi,
Do you have login details to test?
Meaning he wants to see how an end user will see the dashboard or if they will have a user portal…. a lot of wordpress users worries about this.
What JamesPrismall said 7 hours ago about the Visual Composer is that many wordpress users preffer using Visual Composer instead of a bunch of widgets or so…. Visual Composer makes life a lot easier.
What orlandoinsurance said4 hours ago is going to the same direction I was going when I asked you a couple of questions that were not answered.
I would love to help you make this theme be that #1 theme but it would be nice if you pay attention to what users are looking for.
Thanks.
Hey If you create an account via Social network or if you create a listing you will never see the WordPress backend.
We are paying attention to what users are looking for, believe me
keep in mind the theme was just released less than 3 days ago, so we are creating a road map for the theme and over time features, design elements will be added to continue to improve the theme.
We did answer your question a while back see: http://themeforest.net/item/listify-wordpress-directory-theme/9602611/comments?page=2#comment_8517277
Again please don’t hesitate to provide us with feedback on features you’d like to see as we want to listen to our users and give them what they want if there is a large enough demand for it.
Cheers! Adam
I noticed two issues that I would like to discuss: 1. Slight delay in loading the cover pictures (2-3sec) – can we do something about it? 2. When I type a location that has no listings (city in the middle of nowhere), I will get the number of results found, which will be the number of ALL listings…instead of zero.
1. How large are your images? do you use image optimizing tools before uploading, i.e are you uploading 5000px by 5000px pixel images? Ensure they are “web safe” and aren’t any bigger than 900kb in file size for best performance.
We recommend using:
https://compressor.io/https://tinypng.com/
2. This is fixed in 1.0.0.4 which will be out when its released
I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.
Cheers! Adam
Hi,
good job.!!!
Do we have a moderator service available for listings? so that the newly created listings would go to reviewer first?
Yes, see screen shot of settings:
Cheers! Adam

Ok, ty.

Adam
Hello Thanks for the Great Theme,
Are you planning on adding WPML support anytime soon I need my directory in 2 Languages, any recommendation of how to accomplish that.
Thank you
The Listify theme supports WPML but some of the plugins such as WP Job Manager have compatibility issues with WPML, the developer says.
The developer suggestions using Polylang though: https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/I am thinking of using this theme as a real estate site. Do you have a demo of this theme for real estate?
How are we able to customize search filters? I would need to add minimum – maximum price, minimum-maximum bedrooms, minimum-maximum bathrooms etc.
How can this be done?
We got your message and haven’t forgotten about you, things just got a bit busy with the launch of our new theme “Listify. I just wanted to come back to you quickly and let you know you will get a reply from us but it might be a bit longer than we usually do, sorry about that!
Cheers! Adam
Hi,
First of all, great theme!
Can you just give me a short hint how the Woocommerce Booking plugin is working with the theme.
For example, is it possible for the listing owner to change booking times?
Thanks!
Keeping in mind that these questions are more to do with WooCommerce Booking + Product Vendors and as we aren’t the developers of those plugins have some what limited knowledge.
But!
The listing owner can manage the availability of the booking times, from within the WordPress / WooCommerce vendor management backend.
More details on WooCommerce Booking + Product Vendors can be found on the respective sales pages.
http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-vendors/
Oh btw: there is a free vendor management plugin for WooCommerce that you guys might want to check out if you haven’t already, not sure how “decent” it is, but its worth a look: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-vendors/
Cheers! Adam
Does this work with Visual Composer if I added it on?
We use widgets in our themes to build pages, i.e. the home page, listing pages are controlled by custom widget areas and design elements can be arranged in any way you wish. This replaces the need for Visual Page Builder plugins.
There are tons of different designed widgets to make up a different design on the home page, listing pages, and blog pages.
Next week will be featuring a few customers sites who have customized the theme, so look out for that.
Cheers! Adam
Just wanted other people to see that I’m supporting this theme 100% – best I’ve directory theme I’ve seen for a year – one that combines front-end design, functionality and a developer takes ideas and implements them. There’s only a couple or few people can do at a time, there’s plenty of time to see future developments – so just keep suggesting ideas to further build this fantastic theme.
Yes! lets keep the suggestions coming, we are very passionate at making sure our themes / plugins can solve a real problem and customer feedback makes or breaks a product, if we don’t understand what people need then we can’t give them what they want!
Thanks for believing! Adam
Hi,
Do you have login details to test?
Cheers…
Create an account, post a listing, is all possible without login details.
You can even process a payment using the following details:
In test mode, you can use the card number 4242424242424242 with any CVC and a valid expiration date.
We do not have a backend demo at this time.
Cheers! Adam
Guys, fantastic theme as usual.
Is it possible to assign categories (with related urls) and give multiple access?
Example: a restaurant chain opens a master account (www.listify.com/pizzahut). A PizzaHut London restaurant owners wants to post its listing – can he do under www.listify.com/pizzahut/london ? If so, how the access would work – independent or will it depend on the master account?
Thanks for your help, Maschera
Hey there,
There are two ways you could do it:
- Use a master “PizzaHut” account that would have multiple locations listed under the single account.
- Have a master “PizzaHut” account with a single listing and have all other locations create their own accounts to list “PizzaHut – London”
I think the first option would be more ideal though.
Spencer
Thanks Spencer.
In case we go #1, can I grant access to each owners only for their listing and still remain in control of the master account?
Unfortunately a listing can only be assigned to one user account so you would need one master account that would control all listings and only one user account would be tied to the listings.
Ok, will do that.
I’ll abuse your kindness – are you aware of any plugin (unless it’s already possible with the theme) that can include a calendar and so filter by upcoming/past events based on dates?
My client wants to make Listify an event kind-of-portal.
I believe WooThemes is releasing a Events plugin for WooCommerce we will support this plugin in our theme so that vendors can post events, and allow customers to purchase tickets.
Not officially supported in the Listify theme but you might want to check out:
http://tri.be/shop/wordpress-wootickets/http://ignitewoo.com/woocommerce-extensions-plugins-themes/wordpress-event-calendar-wooevents-pro-for-woocommerce/
Thanks
Thanks guys, appreciated
