These images and pages shouldn’t affect the site speed at all since they are not being loaded when a user accesses the site. If you like, you can freely delete the images and pages you are not using, but you don’t need to and it shouldn’t affect the load time of your site at all.

We used 550×654px images, and we set the portfolio list image size to “portrait”. However, we have checked on our side and when we set the images to square they display correctly in square proportions. Regarding the video on mobile devices, the video has been disabled for mobile devices because most mobile devices are not compatible with html5 video element.

Regarding your issue with the slider in Safari, please try by adding the following code to your custom css field:

.carousel-inner .video{position: static; left: 0; direction: ltr;}

You can set a video preview image to display on mobile devices. If you go to a video slide you will see underneath the three fields for uploading your video files an option to upload a video preview image. The image that you set here will display instead of the video on mobile devices.

I went in to re-create the error to send you a link. I now have the portfolio at 3 columns instead of the original 5 and the error does not appear. (At 5 it still appears.) I’ll wait to submit to see if we are keeping the 3 columns.

1. To change these texts please use the Codestyling Localization plugin. After you install it, go to Tools > Localization and there choose the Themes tab. Click on the edit button beside the language and there you will find a list of words you can translate/change. Select the non-case sensitive check-box and then search the word you want to translate/change. After finishing all your edits, click the generate mo-file button and you will have added the changes.

2. To do this, you can go to Settings > Permalinks and choose custom structure and there add the structure you would like for your permalinks.
