Sorry for my stupid question I’m new here, I bought my Avada on Sunday and today I received an update notification, I downloaded the file and I tried to upload it on my website but I received a notification saying that :

Theme install failed Destination folder already exists

Should I uninstall the previous theme ?

After updating the Avada Theme to the last version today, I am constantly getting the “white screen of death”. I have to de-activate and activate the plug-ins constantly to have access to the WordPress admin panel.

Any fixes for this?

Something is not updating correctly, or your server does not have enough memory maybe. I would advise contacting your hosting company first.

Any plans of adding custom forms?

You can do this now with using the free contact form 7 plugin, or the premium gravity forms plugin. Both of those have our custom styles so it will look like our forms.

Hey, I jsut NEEDED to say THANK YOU, I got 7 themes from Theme forest, 3 of them are Avada, and I got at least 10 personnes to buy one Avada since I started using it! at first it was not that easy to use, but since you implemeted the fusion builder I have been saving a lot of time playing with the site, yet with he last update you have given us more modern desing, Avada is not only an amazing theme, but it is always great updates, and support is very real…

First question: are you implementing the new Google Captcha? Second question: is there a way to configure the top sliding bar from the demo to open automatically on the first page visit and appear closed on the next visit?

Yes we are going to integrate Google Captcha in a future version, probably our next major version.

You can set the sliding bar to be opened on page load, however it will not remember your visitor and close the next time they visit. To do that exactly will take some custom dev work.

I have a problem at my shop page. The featured image at the single product page (screenshot 1) is really blurring. I have set the image width to 670 px, but still no nice sharp picture.

When i open the image in lightbox (screenshot 2) it is nice and sharp. Please take a look at the screenshots.

Hey Félice!

The original image you upload has to be the size you set for the image size in woo settings. Then you also need to regenerate thumbnails.

Check your original image size of the image you are using, it also has to be 670px or it will be scaled up and made blurry. See #3 here: http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/#page-item-80357

Hello,

I have a problem with multiple map marker on a single map (15 pins). Unfortunately in Google Map Short Code (https://theme-fusion.com/knowledgebase/avada-shortcode-list/#maps) I do not see anything about clustering when the zoom is out.

Im freaking out here.

I just updated the theme and ALL of my portfoilio items are like this!!!

How can I fix this?! Please tell me I can fix this in one shot, and that i dont have to go through EVERY item and fix it.

Also, when I hover over the portfoilio items on this apge: http://www.artsparkdesign.com/portfolio-3-column/ the blue box goes past the actual image, why is that happening?

Please help!!!!!!

This looks terrible and unprofessional, I cant have it like this for my business!!

Now on my Revoltion slider, EVEN though I have it set to single loop, and all that stuff. the slide only appears for a few seconds and then disappears… I only have one slide. Hvae it set to single slide no loop. YET still loops.

This is ALL SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!

We’ve already replied to this same comment. Please be patient and allow us to get to the comments, we answer them in the order they were received.

The other questions have been answered in the other comment, both are simply new settings.

For the rev slider, we only include the plugin with Avada and do not make any changes to it. We’ve not heard of this issue before with it and it works well on our demo, so it may have something to do with the content.

Or it could just be browser cache.

Also for rev slider, check the slider settings to be sure it is set correctly. They did make changes to that recently I believe. If it still happens, post on our forum so we can take a look for you.

I attempted to go over to your support page in order to ask a pre sales question and to determine if there was any documentation on my question. Two problems:

1. You must have a purchase code to register for the forum and use it and
2. There are many issues within the forum itself that are related to my question, but none are in the knowledgebase.

This makes the support page moot, doesn’t it? My question is related to Wishlist Member. Apparently, there are cases where the plugin has proved to be incompatible with Avada. If so, I cannot use Avada, as much as I want to. So, is it still incompatible, or have you made an effort to resolve any conflicts that have been found?

Last point – I saw in an internet search where someone had said (from your support staff) that this was a “plugin issue” and there may not be much you could do. If that is true, then you would be ignoring revenue from users who deploy one of the two best membership plugins for WordPress. Please verify compatibility for me. If you cannot, I will go ahead and use something else. Thanks for the help. And by the way, this looks like a great theme as far as multi-purpose standards go. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yes our support forum is only for registered buyers. Any pre-sales questions can be answered here :)

There is a very good reason why the support forum is limited to only registered buyers … because of piracy. We and every other author here have to limit the support forums to registered buyers. If not, we get bombarded with support questions from people who are illegally using the theme. We spend incredible amounts of money to hire staff and provide this free support, it can only be offered to those who have a TF purchase code. Hope that helps explain it.

We do not offer styling support for that plugin, it will look like it does by default from the plugin styles. To the best of our knowledge, the plugin will work with Avada. We have not had any recent reports of that plugin being incompatible and as far as my knowledge goes, it works with Avada. However, we cannot guarantee that since it is a 3rd party plugin and any update they issue has to be thoroughly tested. One small change could cause an issue with any theme. But if an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. Then you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

As for the comment you found online, I’m not aware of that. Although if it is an actual plugin issue, that is correct, it has to be fixed by the plugin author. We are not able to edit the plugin, we can only control what is done in the theme. As stated above though, if an issue does arise, we do everything we can within our theme to resolve it, especially for any major plugins.

How do i make two different FAQ pages and show only certain FAQ categories on each?

Currently there is not a feature for this that allows category specific posts to show for FAQ. However we do have this on our list to add to the theme in a future version.

I love this theme! I have only one (small) problem. My site is in german and so I installed the german .mo file. But in the Blog everything is in english (“By”, “Categories”, “Comments” and “Read more”).

How can I change the language?

A question. I posted a blog post. When I click on the post I see everything I wrote and a “read more” tag underneath. When I click on it, I see the post again.. It is double up. How can I just delete this read more?

Step 2 is unnecessary. I want that when in image 1, you click on the item, I want that you immidiately will see image 3.

How can I fix this? So I want to skip the second image.

Hmmm, you have full control over the testimonial styles via our options, you can set the background to be “transparent” and control the text color. If you are using a light text on a light background, there is not much we can do for that. You would need to adjust accordingly.

Ya, I just used some custom css to make the author/company information visible. Still take another look at it, I am not doing anything unusual (setting a blue background for the testimonial, white text so it shows, but the author company info shows outside the background color set in the shortcode – in this case the off-white content background color, but the white text color set for the testimonial content applies to the author company info as well – even though it is outside the background color area set by the shortcode).

Yes I see what you are saying. This is a unique case though and not much can be done with it. The design is for the background color to only be behind the testimonial words, the name and company are by themselves. So if that is white and on a white content background, it will be hard to show. The only option would be to add a second text color option for the name/company instead of all the text. But 99% of time we felt it would be used as one color.

Yes the pre-defined colors are only presets, you can change any of the individual settings in theme options > styling. Open up each section and find the setting you want. If it is the top header bar, it is in the “background colors” section: http://d.pr/i/1dBSL

Hi, really perfect theme. Everything works great. Only one litte thing to ask:

In the navigation bar above my logo scaled a bit smaller, in your demo it does not. I have also tested it with the avada Logo of your demo and it is also scaled smaller. In the inspector of my firefox the pictures have the same pixel dimensions, but it a little bit blurred … and it is smaller!

How can I solve that?

Hmmm we would need to see this in action on our forum. Check your logo settings though in theme options. Also on sticky header tab check for the max logo width, that controls the size in the sticky header. In the main header, there is nothing that will cause it to scale. It could be a 3rd party plugin also?

Hi there! I have your theme and it is wonderful! But I have a few questions on some things I cant figure out and cant get a good tutorial online.

First off here is my site: www.artsparkdesign.com

1. I see in the “Recent work” page of the imported demo info that I can create a recent work shortcode, like the one i have on my home page under “Fresh Logo Design Work” when you scroll down a bit.

But I want to display a specific category with the shortcode, so I can use the recent work short code for the web design section I have right above my logo section. Right now I just chagned the dates to have my best logo work at the top so it would display the way it does. But I would like to display just the website work, like 2 rows/3columns, and then just he logo design work, same setting,

I hope Im making sense.

Ok next question

2. I see you have a side navigation option, but I don’t see where I can input the actual pages to appear on the side navigation. I saw a tutorial that said under “page options” but I see now section under “page options” that lets me input any info like that. How do I create a side navigation menu on a specific page?

1. Portfolio featured images missing This is just a new option, go to theme options > portfolio and make sure “featured images in single post pages” are set to show. Also make sure to clear your cache.

2. Portfolio image rollovers This is also a new feature. It appears you widened your site width, so you cannot use cropped images so you have to set it to auto. Please read about it here: http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/#page-item-265031

When we added the ability to use wider site settings, this came into effect. Portfolio featured images have been cropped in the past, those cropped sizes are generated based off a 940px site width. We cannot generate a perfect size for site widths that are larger, it would product dozens and dozens of images. So if you are using a site width wider than 940px, you need to use “auto” for featured images.
