I am wanting to use this for my brokerage to list properties, but I also want to sell informational products. Does this theme allow for me to both have listings and also have normal store functionality to sell other products?

You can create a listing site plus have a regular eCommerce store attached to the site.

In a listing page: Is it possible to have the photos of the gallery inside a big slider (about same size as video playback), instead of small circles AND page reload?
Also, the photos and opening hours in mobile is taken way down below in the layout, not good for any restaurant listing, because this is vital information. Thanks.

Hi, I have just purchased the theme and set it up. I recently received an email stating that there has been an update to the theme and I can download it.
Im not sure how to go about this procedure. If you can please provide a step by step to do list as to how to update to the new theme WITHOUT losing any old files or settings that would be highly appreciated.

I it possible to use the Woo Booking plugin in many ways ?
Some listings are hairdresser, where they have 3 difference hairdresser, And some listings need a book a table ex.
Is it possible to the Woo Booking that way with this theme ?

A) If “WC Paid listings” plugin allows me to have a listing last 1 year, does it integrate with Woocommerce Subscriptions so that after 1 year they are asked to renew when the deadline arrives? Do I need both plugins?
the “WC Paid listings” refers on the public side of the website a number of times as “jobs” – I think this is confusing because I wouldn’t advertise jobs but listings. Can this wording be changed when used in listify theme?
C) When I sign up with a new listing (as an advertiser) I can choose from a dropdown of ready-made deals from “Select your deals & promotions”. But can an advertiser create their own deals & promos?
D) I see in the demo & suggested plugins that packages are linked to periods of time (same content, but different lengths of time). I want my packages to each include different amounts of content (e.g. “basic” has a short description and URL and 3 keywords while “premium” has maybe longer description, more photos and 10 keywords). Can this be done with listify and if so with which plugins?
E) Can an advertiser add their own country if it’s not already present in the dropdown when signing up?
F) If a users clicks “Listing categories” > Food .. it loads all available listings in that category. I have almost 3000 listings in this category. Any way to prevent loading every listing in a category?
G) in the ’ what ’ field of search engine, what type of information does it actually search for from the listings account?
H) When I want to buy a second listing package it says “credit card on file”. where is this sensitive information saved off?
I) Using one of the suggested third party plugins, can I vary or limitation in the length of certain fields

Yes you can choose which listings have the booking widget, as you can see here, some listings have the widget, and some do not.

another question: Is there a way to show the description on detail page only, if a entry is featured?
Hey there! Yes this is possible by using a plugin called “Widget Logic” and some simple code. https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/
Then you can use the is_position_featured() function to display it if it’s featured.

This question is very important to me:
Topic: Notification of Users
Imagine a user does not find a product he is searching for. He will leave the site and go to competition…. But there is a solution which will make him come back: If he can type in his email in a field, the system will send him a message as soon as an item is posted which matches his former search criterias!
“Dear user XY, the shop XY in your surrounding posted offer XY, which you have previoulsy searched for!”.
-> so either user does not care about the shop but only of products – so the notification will include all shops in his surrounding offering the item OR
-> user wants notification ONLY from a specific shop. So when typing in his email, he can put a tag “Only matching future offers from this shop”.
This will be a core feature!
We will be integrating with an alerts system. How it works, A user enters a search criteria and on the search form there is an option to be notified if a listing with this criteria is posting on the site, and email is then sent to the person.
There will be a dashboard to manage your alerts, that will look something like this:

Is it possible to have shops list products with their prices and small description. Then user search for a product, for example flowers and the search-result lists all offers concerning flowers in his radius.
The site should help users to find offers of products independend from which shops offer them. So the core lies in product-offers and not the shops behind them.
Does this work?
In other words: The aim of the site is to list offers and products. It´s not only about finding a specific shop but more of finding a specific product.
We want to focus on building a great directory and focus on that, if you want to extend the theme and allow people to search WooCommerce products, deals, coupons, events, bookings on the search form then a developer who knows what he is doing could make this happen, currently in version 1x of the Listify theme we don’t plan on adding these features even though they sound like great ideas.
If the demand is large enough we will add the to the Listify theme.

My feature req:
Search for products(geotag products, simple add the shops addresse for uploaded products).
Why its a killer feature?
Example: I build a restaurant network. Restaurants can upload their menu items with prices, photos etc. People can search for restaurants and can search for food with price…Can make booking or can buy food for delivery…etc
So it would be a nice feature to select on the main search bar what i looking for(directory listings, product, event/booking)
Maybe other people need also geotagged products feature for build roboust local marketplace or classified site with listify

You want to search prices of products that are loaded into the WooCommerce product catalogue? on the listings search field? and then filter the prices by proximity, this is not currently possible.

Can I sign up with email or something?
It seems I can only sign in with fb, twitter etc.
And I think I found a bug: The following text shows up in the checkout flow even when I login with my twitter account

And while I do receive emails after booking, it seems there isn’t a page under my account list all the listings I book, is it?
You can use WooCommerce account sign up, just needs to be enabled, in our demo we’ve disabled WooCommerce sign-up, also when creating a listing an account is created, or when you purchase a pricing package an account is created.
Re: social login issue, spoke to the WooCommerce social login developer: Max Rice, he said “it doesn’t remove the message until all social providers have been enabled on that account” but he will in a future update of the plugin remove the message once one social provider login has been enabled.

Bookings are under you purchase history. Right?
Very interested in the theme.
When checking out the demo page for a particular listing (business), some of them got deals. After clicked the deal will be direct to a product page, but there is no mentioning or link back to the business offering the deal.
Can that be achieved? Can you list all the deals in a particular city (location)?

These are the types of feedback and ideas we are looking for, we are currently just working on the “kinks” if there are any before we start adding a ton of new features, we need to understand what customers are using Listify for and the types of features they need, if the demand is large enough we will add the feature.
