One question, the new version, 2.3, update anything under the folder /buddypress ? i made a lot of change on most of all files under buddypress.

Also you should not change theme files but activate the child theme and copy the templates you changed there. See more on Child themes https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

just copy buddypress templates to the child theme and modify them as you need
so, the wordpress will process everything priorly under child theme if the child theme is activated? cool, i never used / tried child theme yet.
Yes, exactly. It is a very good approach so you can update the theme easily since you don’t do file changes in the parent theme

I have disabled the sidemenu. The sales from mobile devices dropped when the error started occuring.
hm.. maybe create a page with an element with class open-sidebar so we can test. you will have to enable the side menu functionality but disable the button in the menu for that

Thanks for the prompt reply. I deactivated the plugins via ftp and then accessed the site. I have now deactivated TML plugin and all is OK.

Hi, depending on the elements you need to change, you have to add custom CSS. You can inspect page elements with Chrome Inspector or Firefox Firebug extension

Using wordpress to update K-Elements didn’t work. Using ftp to update K-Elements with files from Kleo worked. THANKS.

A different issue which is related to the update, On firefox if I do a CTRL+F5 (full refresh) the main page logo stays small and does not show up full size. Almost as if the animation doesn’t load. I tried it in Chrome and it doesn’t do the same.

Is there any other way to import the RevSlider demos? I’m unable to import due to an error which, from the looks of it, will require me to recompile Apache on my GoDaddy VDS server.

Hi, the slider import should be done from WP admin – Revolution Slider – Import Slider. I guess is the only way plugin developers made it available.

After importing the slider, the red background and images are working but no snow animation and the font looks generic and not like how you have it on your demo-site. If I’m setting it up wrong, please give detailed instruction on how it should be done.

hi, for the snow you need to add the Let it snow element just after the slider shorcode in your page. You can import the Christmas page from Appearance – KLEO Demo Data to see how we added it. For the font you need to add it from WP admin – Punch Fonts. Hande: great-vibes Parameter: Great+Vibes

2. Can I change the fields in the profile to list other things i.e gpa, act score, sat score, all-district, all-state, 40 time, vertical jump, etc
3. Can I make user profiles private?
4. Will the user be able to post videos, pics, and “Like” other videos or postings?
5. Will the user be able to add pics or videos from they’re mobile device?
6. Can the user upload video from any type of uploader? i.e Viemo, Youtube, mp4, etc…

Hi, 1. You could use the activity shortcode to show latest activity from your site
2. all fields are customizable from admin area so you can define them by your own needs
3. with some plugins or custom codes.. but not by default from the theme
4. we are using the rtMedia plugin on the demo to do that
5. just like 4
6. using rtMedia only hosted mp4 but you can try finding plugins to extend the functionality.
also check the demo to test the features
