Jumped on to ask about revolution slider and I can see I’m not the only one being notified. Can you please advise at your earliest convenience the easiest way to update to the newest ‘safe’ version of Rev Slider (Version 4.6.5) Cheers Mel

If you are using Avada 3.4 or higher, you are already safe as the rev slider issue was fixed back in February of 2014, and we included that version in Avada 3.4.

It seems you have the registration disabled on the “My Account” page This is a woocommerce option, go to the options section and enable it.

Pre-sales question: Does this theme offer a ‘true’ parallax feature yet? By that I mean where the background is not fixed but also moving at a different speed? I see in earlier posts you had mentioned this would be added and wondering if that’s now available? Your theme is quite impressive and I really appreciate the extensive list of features. Thanks!

Actually those you see that allow the background to move have an additional option to set that, which in a way is still not a true parallax. We are planning on adding those options that allow the background image to move with scroll. However I cannot give an exact timeframe for when that will be done as we have other items that have been more requested that we are working in the theme.

You can use Contact Form 7 for this, it allows you to create any type of form and insert it on the page. We include Avada styles for it also so it fits in nicely

The version I bought a few months ago contains a very old version of the Revolution slider which has a serious security hack. My web osting recomend to upgrade to version 4.6.5 of the slider or they will deactivate the plugin to protect their servers. How can I get the new version of the slider? I don’t want to update the whole template . Just the slider. Is it included in the latest version of Aveda (which version? )

Yes we always include the latest version of the slider with the theme. You need to download the theme to get the new plugin, it is located in Avada > framework > plugins.
Also if you are on Avada 3.4or higher then it already includes the fixed version of the theme.

Our theme uses WooCommerce plugin so I would recommend checking there for this. You will still need an add to cart button, etc. But when the user goes to check out, they can use paypal to pay for it. Hope that makes sense.

Where is it saying that? We issue plugin updates when we issue theme updates. So when you update the theme, you will be promoted to update the plugin.

Oh are you seeing this from your host? If so you must be on a much older version of the theme.

You can only update it if you have purchased the slider separately. If not, then the slider plugin gets updated when we issue a theme update.

First, most incredible theme ever! Finally a great page builder. I am having trouble withe individual background colors. I see the background option in the fusion builder, but it seems the styling selected colors are trumping the selection. i.e I want one box background white, one blue, etc.

Hmm are you using Avada v3.7.1? If not please update to that version. There was a bug with the full width container bkgd colors earlier but it has been fixed now.

Hi There, Where is the setting that adjusts the font line height specific to the testimonials shortcode? Because after updating to 3.7.1 the text spacing has significantly reduced and now crunched together and its no longer under control of the standard site wide font line height…? How do I make adjustments to this specific part…?

So, avada doesn’t have integrated Buddypress but, If i will use BuddyPress plugin in the theme will it appears in the theme style or the theme doesn’t have any code written for this plugin yet ?

BuddyPress will work with Avada, but no we do not have added styles for it so it will look like it does by default (plugin included styles)

If you are referring to the security issue reported, it was fixed long ago. If you are using Rev Slider 4.2 you are fine.
You can find the plugins in the Avada > framework > plugins folder.
