Hi. I love the theme evolution. I want to use the one page demo layout. However, I need to show more information for portfolio pieces than is allowable with the single image in a light box functionality. Is there a way to use the one page demo layout in such a way that it links to a single portfolio page?

I am looking to buy this theme but I ran into something I didn’t quite like.
The image slider on the basic structure homepage scale down to a tiny slider with really small text as opposed to scaling down proportionately like the eyecandy or paralax ones.
I actually want to use the hero image look of eyecandy but keep a lot of the CTA boxes of the basic structure for information. Is this a possibility?

You can set a minimum height on the slider but if you want to change the text/button size on mobile you’d need to use custom css

Can you provide me with the code to hide the date on the Recent Posts feature so that when a site visitor hovers over the image of the post and there is a color on the hover with a title and date – that the date can be hidden and only show the title?

I updated from 4.9 to 5 and my main navigation disappeared. Also, I have it set to transparent and on scroll the background color appears above the logo and that’s it. Am I missing something simple/obvious when I updated?

Is there any code I can put into a page’s custom css to change the page background color when a row is set to “in container”.
Reason being is that when I change the row to “full width background” it changes the formatting of the content inside the row.

The full width content row type should change the formatting of inner content, but the full width background should keep everything the same while just changing the BG color – could you kindly share a URL in regards showing how the full width background type is altering your layout?

I’m trying to have a black background behind the photos, and have them spaced like they are in the first link. For some reason when I go with the full width background, the space between the images is removed.

In the ECommerce Live Demo there are 4 boxes below the main slider that link to products. In the demo content that comes with the update, it goes to a portfolio item. How do i make it like the demo? Also, there is no documentation on updating using the .txt file for salient options. I copied and pasted them in the field, it seemed to be my only option was that correct?

1. It’s an image gallery element, you can set the URL you want to link each image in the metabox under where you set the title when adding images to your gallery
2. Yes, you’re supposed to paste them into the import/export tab in your theme options panel

1) There is a way of having a parallax revolution slider above the navigation bar.
2) if you can have 2 layer menu that meet after the slider is scrolled up

Hey – that is indeed a portfolio item, you could use an image gallery element to achieve a similar result but you won’t have the masonry option unfortunately

You’d need to create portfolio items for each image and then add a portfolio element (inside of visual composer) to a page. When configuring that element just check the masonry display option and the option for lightbox only

I just turned on ‘Custom Fonts’ and specified Source Sans Pro and Domine from the Google fonts dropdown list but the changes are not reflecting on my site! I’ve flushed the cache and its still showing in the old fonts. The font size modifier under the ‘Typography’ section of the theme is also not doing anything.

I can actually see those fonts being applied, so far have checked in Firefox/Chrome – what browser are you not seeing the settings work in?
I’m actually trying in Safari, Chrome and Firefox and its still not showing. I’ve tried flushing the cache at browser level as well as at my host, still not doing it! Do you know what else I should try?
Very confused now … I’ve just loaded the site on a Windows machine (I’m normally on a Mac) and like you said, the fonts are updated. But even then, although I specified ‘body’ text to be Domine, the regular paragraph text still showing as the default font on the individual blog posts. Do you have any idea what’s going on? Hi, On my 24’’ screen everything is fine, but I’d like to make the footer stick to the bottom of the page on bigger screens. I looked for a solution in previous answers but I found that it is not possible without custom css. Any chance it can be offered on future updates?
