You can’t alter the container wrap BG color without css, but the full width BG row type should keep the content at the same width as in container, only full width content should alter the content space. Is there a reason you don’t want to do the global change of the container with css in the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel?

I have another question, please bare with me. Is there any way to create a text slide? I mean, it looks exactly like Testimonials, but with neither quotation marks nor customer’s name. Just the dot (navigation) and a custom text (or HTML) to slide.

Let me share here what i did and it looks like it fixed temporarily.

I disabled all the plugins and voila, Visual Composer started rendering the pages. While reactivating the plugins i found that it’s Woocommerce which is causing the conflict with the inbuilt Visual Composer.

To fix it for now, i removed the following code from woocommerce.php

if ( ! is_admin() || defined( ‘DOING_AJAX’ ) )

Not sure about the side effects but it fixed the issue.

My point why you guys are using such an old version of Visual Composer in your theme which is no where compatible with the latest WP and Woo and wouldn’t it be a good idea to make it separate from your theme now?

The version of VC which salient forked is listed in the wpbakery folder as you saw, it’s still gotten development and fixes applied to it this whole time and the new WooCommerce live demo is using the latest WP and WC versions without those issues. Something else must be at play in your setup – but the next few releases will most likely update the VC version to further align with the raw plugin

Good news. I was able to do a back up…..I was trying to get my blog set up…like this http://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4363266 ...But mine has the words Categories : (Name) on each post but I was trying to enter a line of code i found online in the custom.php file to remove that…well lets just say I won’t be doing that again.

Is there a tutorial on how to set up a blog on the site? I cant find it

Hey – you can use the blog element located in your visual composer tab on your editor to display posts on any given page. Is there something more specific you were wondering in regards?

It seems your support has taken a turn for the worse.

You’d just add your text i.e. “menu” to the section I mentioned above. The li you will see when doing that search is:

Please do. I submitted an HAR file to them to troubleshoot but they told me I wouldn’t hear back until some time in January. Are there any specific JS files that should load immediately and any that can be deferred safely? Because I can tag them to be excluded from RocketLoader to fix the problem, but I don’t know where to start.

Hey again – if you check in the functions.php file at the nectar_register_js function you can see the initial order in which to maintain. Mainly just ensuring the init.js comes before the nectar slider script but after all dependencies should be good enough
