It seems that the only way we can play with the design of the home page is with widgets from the sidebars area. It would be nice that these functions are integrated with VC. We are limited working from sidebar.

You can use VC if you wish, there is a VC template see here.
Though we think using widgets is a much better approach to designing your home page and other pages of your site.

I really like the look of this theme. I have a few questions prior to purchase:
1. Do you offer free ongoing support? I checked your website and it looks like you only get support for 6 months and then you have to pay. Is this correct?
2. Can I insert a full width video into a page?
3. Regarding offers etc. Can you insert a coupon into a listing. I’ve seen a listing with an offer but it allows the visitor to make a purchase. I wouldn’t want this feature. Is there any way to include a coupon code reveal button or something along those lines?
4. Can you display ads on the home page and if so where would they appear? And what size ads could you include?
5. Can you include a logo into the header?
6. Do you have any screenshots of the theme options panel?

Really disappointed with the lack of response.
I would have thought that the questions I asked could easily be answered in a timely manner.
Such a shame as I really like the theme but don’t have time to hang around indefinitely for someone to respond.

1. You can either purchase a new theme licence to gain access to another 6 months of support, or help us cover our support costs and subscribe to our VIP support services, this helps cover the cost offering support.
2. In the future you will be able to add a full-width video anywhere on a page using a new widget are currently developing. You can already add a full width video to the home page.
3. You could create a new custom field on the submission form using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, so that business can post coupons.

Also, can support be given through the comments section of the theme page on Themeforest?
The reason why I ask is that most of the other themes I use, including Avada, the developers offer free ongoing support.
Regarding the logo. So without a developer I wouldn’t be able to upload my own logo (like your Listify loggo)?
Usually in the theme options there is an area where you can upload a logo and favicon etc?

Hello,
We have discussed about some important improvements for the Listing Pages beforehand and you have expressed your appreciation (see pages 18 + 19 before):
1 — photos in a bigger slider with thumbs below (instead of small circles and page reload)
2 — presentation of the LOGO (e.g. on the cover image – Twitter profile alike)
3 — option to replace the cover image by a map with a location marker
These features are highly effective for promoting companies. They will also make the Listing Pages look better. Please note that companies are more likely to pay for any listings if the Listing Pages have a great look and a clear benefit for the companies.
These features have been requested by many other users too.
When are you going to introduce these features?

How your theme integrate the woocommerce booking ? And where can i see a demo of listing submit for a “woocommerce booking” ?
Does vendors have an access to a Front-End or Back-End (WP) dashboard to change details of his booking ? Does Vendors have access to his own booking reservations panel ?
I want to use Woocommerce Booking, so CPT is listing or product ? Can i customize easily CPT (listing or product) with ACF and Gravity form for example ?

So for Booking, it’s on Backend only (OK).
For the Location for search is linking with Business Address or Region ? If it’s Address how does it work ? City > City or City > Around X miles of the City ? If it’s Region, so it’s work like tag or category i read so it’s ok. But it’s hierarchical like category or not like tag (or we can choose) ?

Hello, i loved this theme even though i have not bought it right now. Just visited demo. I am thinking of buying it but i have one question. Here is what i want to do. Visitors can search for a service on listings. They can book a person by paying on site. example. Photographer , Book a Photographer for particular date. eg. 30th Jan. Now, to book that photographer, he will have to pay a price eg. 10$. Then after he pays, that photographer is booked for him. Now these are the things i am looking for. Photographer makes an account and adds his service. He decides what will be the price for his service. Visitors books him for that service. I, administrator earns money when someone books that photographer. I get share of each booking like 8$ to photographer and 2$ to me. Overall, from this theme, i want my revenue stream to be some percentage share of each booking that takes place on site. Is it possible and if yes, how? Please guide me. Thanks for reading. Can you please recommend another plugin (Other Than – WP All Import Pro plugin) that I can use to bulk upload listing categories and listings?
Basically I’m looking for a plugin that I Can use to bulk load listings which is more affordable i’m willing to spend up to $20 but not more than three times what the theme cost (as per WP All Import Pro costs).

man, is this really that difficult to understand? ... let me rephrase… for instance on https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listing/8-s-san-marcos-pl-chandler-az-85225-united-states-santan-brewing-company/ at the right hand side, in the sidebar, you have a photo gallery … right? My question is how it is possible to allow visitors to upload and share their own photos. Regular visitors, not registered/logged-in users.
No it’s not possible, must be logged in to post images.

Hello,
when i try to create a multilingual site with Polylang, i came across an issue, when translating the categories, it creates a whole new on the 2nd language there for the item that were suppose to be in that Category dont appear. How can i get around this issue???

Any plans to add Google Street View as a banner option for listings? Toggle between Street View and the banner?
I think themes that do that look pretty ugly. We will come up with a solution that looks both elegant and has great functionality.

I read it and understand “Once you have confirmed they are the owner of the listing you can reassign the author of the listing in the WordPress dashboard.” but does that remove the “Clam A Listing” language on an already claimed listing page? That’s all I want to know. Thanks!
Sorry if my previous comment was not clear. When a listing is claimed or when it’s assigned to a new user and you do not wish for the “Claim Listing” button to display on the listing, as the admin select this option and it will remove the text “Claim Listing”.

Following on from my previous question.
My venue clients would like to have a check list of things in place (ie they must be not rowdy etc – a list if you like that they want users to be before they can book. Is this possible?
In terms of pricing some venues have different pricing for different event /user types – is this something that is possible in the current theme?

I have ticked that one off. But, I want listers to be able to select multiple categories, not just the ones searching for listings. Atm it doesnt seem like it can be done unless it’s done through the back-end.
