Awesome Theme!
How do you add the “choose a package” radio button option on the submit a listing page with the “Listing Details” button that then takes you to the listing form and auto fills the cart… like in the demo (https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/submit-listing/)?
Thanks in advance!!
Please set the WC Paid Listings plugin to this option this option, it is found inside of Listings > Settings > Listing Submission > Paid Listings Flow

Thanks for the quick reply! I do have that plugin installed but I dont see a Paid Listings flow option under the Listings > Settings > Listing Submission > .... Only options I have are… (in this exact order)
Account Required Account Creation Account Role Approval Required Allow Pending Edits Listing Duration Application Method Maximum Job Tags Tag Input
I’d recommend upgrading the plugin you have installed to version: 2.2.0 and if you still don’t see the option contact the plugin developer for help

Thanks Adam! I will try that!
Hi Adam
1. How do you remove the cart icon from the top menu.
2. How do you change miles to kilometers.
3. How do you specify if a business is currently open
4. How do you modify the hours so the week starts with Monday rather than Sunday.
5. How do we search by categories in the keywords bar, what constitutes a keyword? are these only business titles
Thanks
Dan
1. See: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/555-how-to-remove-cart-icon-in-menu
2. This will be introduced in theme in a future update, it will auto-detect if you are in a country that uses KM or Miles.
3. Currently open? Please explain this more in detail.
4. You can’t right now, there’s a setting in WordPress but it does not respect it. We will add this feature to a future version of the theme.
5. Business titles and content in the description constitutes a keyword.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks for the reply what i mean with point 3 is. Just say a place is open 9am-5pm and i visit the site at 4pm it will display the listing as open but if i visit the site at 6pm it will display the listing as closed because that business is currently closed.
Thanks again
We don’t have plans to add a “Closed” / “Open” message on the listing page as many web servers (shared hosting) do not use the correct server time settings, so let’s say we add this feature but your servers clock is incorrect, the closed message will display at the incorrect time, this will cause a huge amount of support for us, unless we find a better solution we aren’t planning to add the feature.
Cheers! Adam
How about even if you can’t display open/closed highlighting todays day. For eg. if today is Saturday, Saturday is bolded or highlighted allowing the user to distinguish the hours for today far quicker.
Loving the theme! I have a pre-sale question. I was wondering if I could use this theme for an artist directory, or is it already pre-set to specific businesses? Since I am planning on letting the artists post directly, my guess is that I would need to purchase the WooCommerce Product Vendors Plugin, but would there be a simpler one for their listings or would this be the best option? Also, would there be a plugin to create subscriptions that restrict the content the artist can post instead of the content they can access? For example: # of pictures, video available or not, amount of tags, soundcloud features, etc?). The site will be subscription instead of commission based which is why it’s important to find the perfect plugin. Thanks so much for the help! Awesome job with the themes. Marketify is also lovely, but sadly works with EDD (hope you release a WC version in the future). Cheers! A
Hi! I am still waiting on a reply… please … thank you.
Hi … still waiting on a reply. Just sent a message through your support page but have not received a support ticket … only a thank you message that says “we acknowledge the receipt of your email” ... so I do get a reply this time.
Pleeeeeeease!
I see we replied to you already sorry for the delay.

Hey guys,
Trying to do string replacement with the ever-popular Codestyling Localization plugin. I have a child theme installed. When I goto search for terms to replace it shows this:
Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: listify Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching! This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.
Leland for my sanity, please can you direct all support issue via our support portal instead of opening up an issue on ThemeForest pre-sales comment and then another issue on our support portal
I see Spencer has been helping you with this issue today, it will just cut down on the amount of topics I will need to reply to on ThemeForest.
Cheers! Adam
Well done TheFrontPage, this is EXACTLY want i need too!
Its possible to do, see: http://themeforest.net/item/listify-wordpress-directory-theme/9602611/comments?page=29#comment_8794558
What other features are you waiting for, before purchasing the theme?
Cheers! Adam
Just going to wait and see Adam when the major upgrade happens! Ready to purchase anytime!
Thanks mate! Dave
Why not purchase now and start building your site and once the next “major” release is issued, just update your site, just an idea.
Cheers! Adam
To be honest, i would love to but I am also waiting to see what others have done with Listify to get a few more idea’s. I will use a Envato Studio member to upload the template and any plugins for me and get them to work properly. Just dont want to double up on costs! Thanks anyhow for the suggestion!
Thanks a lot NMillard, it worked

Cheers! Adam

Question – Is it possible to use this theme as a “private directory” of business locations?
I am not interested in user submissions, payment collections, login functionality, etc. I would be the one that entered all of the listings and I would like to remove all of the functionality for registration, submit listings, login, etc. Can I quickly and easily remove these unwanted features and links?
Another pre-sale question – I noticed that none of the business listings are displaying a zip code (postal code). Is there a field for Zip Code in the listing profile? It would appear to me that a great deal of directory site users would use the zip code as the location qualifier in their searches. City and State are great, but zip code area is more specific.
Yes! You can use the Listify theme as a private directory, simply disable/delete the submit listing page so that no visitor can submit listings to your site, you can post listings from backend of WordPress.
You will not need any of the paid listings plugins as you are not collecting payments, you will not need to enable the login menu link in the menu, just remove it from the menu area as you are the only visitor adding content to the site. It would only take a few minutes to set it up like this. Simple enough to do.
Zip codes display is being added to the theme in version 1.0.1.4 which is the next version of the theme.
I would recommend adding your email to our mailing list or follow us here on Twitter for theme updates & here on ThemeForest for our new theme releases.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks for the upcoming zip code update. This is an extremely important feature for accurate search on any directory.
Cheers! Adam
@adamm2015 you just use the button class. Like this
oh lol.. it doesnt show codes apparently.. I’ll try again:
<a href="#" class="button"></a>
Your product looks great. I’m just trying to understand some basics before buying.
1. Listing Types vs. Categories
I’ve read your articles on Listing Types, Categories & Tags/Amenities. I realize this is basic but can you explain the benefit of using a Listing Type? I’m still lost. I’ve used categories, subcategories and tags. Listing Type is new to me.
For example, if you have “Beverage” as a Listing Type how can you link it to the categories “Wine” “Beer” “Soda” to create a taxonomy? Would it not be better to use categories and subcategories instead? I’m simply trying to understand why specifically it’ used and how its beneficial. (also just as an fyi, the link to your “example of a restaurant” under Categories is broken- maybe that link provided the explanation I need)
2. When you refer to a “Hero” in your literature, what does it mean?
3. Is there a charge for using Google maps?
4. Where would I find a list of recommended image and video sizes?
Thanks.
Hey.
We don’t use Types in our demo as I believe its confusing we use Categories & Tags as its more understandable, we use the WP Job Manager to power the themes features so that’s where “types” comes from at it doesn’t really make sense to use that in a business directory in my opinion.
2. Maybe this will help Hero Image/a>,
3. Google maps is free to use, if you process a lot of requests Google will get in touch with you, I don’t know all of the costs involved, I believe there is more information posted here.
4. Use any image just ensure that images optimized for speed using a tool like https://tinypng.com https://tinyjpg.com etc, same for video files, ensure they are compressed well for fast loading.
Cheers! Adam
Can anyone help me about how to add buttons to feature call out sections as seen in the demo?
Thanks
1.In every listing I want to add different product details
e.g. a shoe shop with sub category in same listing i want to add dress shoes images, running shoes images, women shoes images.
Can I add this ?
2. I have to add member ship plugin or is it in built
Sorry just more clarify, I need theme where people can search products and shop. Hence I require shop listing where I can add different products details. Hope you got my requirement
1. This is possible with WooCommerce.
2. Our theme supports WooCommerce, you could build a WooCommerce membership site see: http://chrislema.com/membership-site-with-woocommerce/
Cheers! Adam
Hello Listify Team I would like to know the answer thad (Christian aka CalxUmbrella) have get from Astoundify regarding his problem it would be helpful for me as well
2) Additionally, your Geo-Location features are a bit messed up and unnecessarily complicated and I just can’t seem to get your attention on how to fix this stuff thereby DELAYING the launch of my project.
I’m not sure why data entered in the “job_location” field that an advertiser fills out is formatted when displayed on the listing main page:
- cities change names into different languages (i.e. “Rome” becomes “Roma”) – zip codes are removed and not displayed – street numbers are selectively removed (why?!?) – addresses are completely altered and display a bunch of technical geo-location information and there’s a bunch of other problematic behaviours.
I tried removing formatting (as suggested on http://listify.astoundify.com/article/538-remove-formatted-locations) but that triggers a bunch of other issues: – map pointers aren’t displayed on the main map located on the search results page – addresses are shown twice.
Honestly, I have a simple CSV file which contains complete geo-location (each individual piece of data in each column) but after trying some 40 upload variations & combinations, data is never displayed correctly.
This part of a directory should not be so complicated.
I know you’ll write back telling me to “contact support” – but I’m contacting you here because I don’t feel you’re treating these requests with relevant importance.
This was already fixed in version 1.0.1.3: January 7, 2014 of the Listify theme so this is no longer an issue.
There aren’t any issues with removing the auto formatting in the theme. If you remove them they will be output exactly as they were entered in the location field.
Cheers! Adam
ok but on my end zip codes are removed and not displayed – house numbers are selectively removed (why?!?)
House – property numbers are important for me
Are you using the latest version of the theme? ZipCodes were never included in formatted locations . We will add them to a future theme update.
Cheers! Adam

Same here. What can be done?
Did you install the latest version of the theme version 1.0.1.3: January 7, 2014 as it fixes these issue I believe. Did you contact support about your issues?

Hello,
Very nice theme, I´m looking for some theme like this, but I have some question about the installation: Does this theme include demo-Data? How difficult is the installation?
Best regards,
Orlando NOTE: I have almost 3 years working with WP, but when the template does not bring with the demo data, is very difficult to understand it.
Please review: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/236-installing-demo-content

Any reply on ticket?
