Hello,
I purchased your theme a few weeks ago and as I have been working on my website, I came across a bug with the gallery on the one pager with video. After uploading all of my videos to the gallery, I discovered that only a handful of them show up and when I click “load more” it does not load any more. Can you please help me understand why this is possibly happening or if it’s a bug? Otherwise, the theme is fantastic!

We had fixed that problem for another user. This happened only when site is not in main domain like yourdomain.com, but look something like: yourdomain.com/wordpress.
We will submit this fix asap, and you will recieve email notification from Envato, then you can update your theme.

Hi there, The slider used was broken when unpacking the theme. When used with other themes other sliders require hard coding to get rid of the space. Not 100% happy with this theme unless you can fix the issue or provide me with information on it?

There are 2 ways:
.gl-item .gl-item-category{display:none}
and another way is to not specify filter, but if you don’t specify filter, then image won’t appear under filters. So 1st method is good
Is there any way to control the focal point of the images?
This is image itself matter. You should adjust, crop uploaded images in the way you wish to appear.

One question: I’d like to create a Masonry gallery but I can’t find how. When I insert a Mentas Gallery code, I only find settings about columns and so on. Could you tell me how to make it Masonry? Thanks!

To create Masonry gallery grid, simply change gallery type to massonry like in example below:

This shortcode is entered into a page.

While reworking it, I came to some suggestions:
1. In the masonry gallery I lost the expanding function. No problem, because having a big image on a single page is great, but I didn’t find a ‘Go back’ button on both single page styles. So every time people clicked on a photo in the masonry gallery, they have to let the sidebar appear and click on gallery again. Could you add a cross on the right top for example, that leads back to the gallery? Or is there another easy way to switch between the gallery and big, clean images?
2. Both Single page styles have elements over the image. I think for photographers (like me) it would be great to have a single page version that shows images with no elements on it.
Is it for example possible to let the previous and next buttons appear only on rollover/mouse movement in style 1, and to not place the title bar over the image? (The composition of the images gets totally different)

1. Yes Masontry layout doesn’t have expanding version yet. We will think how to implement expanding version to this type. The reason why there is not “go back” button is that we have many gallery types, and gallery can be created just from page, if you insert there short code. In this case single page doesn’t know where to return 
I see only one variant for now, to have pull down option to select in gallery page where to return , but this might be routine work for admin to select each time. Any suggestion would be welcome!

There is only title and share icon sets. Do you mean them, or something else? Please advise.
Next/Previous buttons appear only when you mouse hover. But since image is full screen mouse always is over. Just move curson out of window, and you would notice how they vanish

This theme is by far the most beautiful theme that I’ve found on Wordpress, so all credits for a great job. But the only thing I miss right now is just a gallery that shows clean, big images . So no title bars over the image, and no scaling outside the page (so people must scroll to see the whole image.
The full-with-style1 one is unfortunately no option for me right now (And I think also for other people who like to showcase photos), because: 1. Yes, I meant the title block. Right now it’s placed on top of the image. So a part of the image is hardly visible, and this changes the look of the whole image (composition). If you want to showcase photography, you just want to show big images without parts being blocked. 2. Square and portrait-size images are blown up to the full with in my version of style 1. So the page only shows the top piece of the photo, and the bottom part is invisble.
Maybe a simple solution could be: An expanding gallery, that expands the image bigger (For example 960?). And the title and sharing things appear below the image. This way photos can easily be opened and closed from the gallery, and still be shown big.
Or: Would it be possible when an image is clicked in the gallery, you see it as big as possible (Maximum height for portraits and maximum with for landscapes) on the dark gray background. No title bars or scaling outside the page, the title and sharing signs appear below the image. And on mouse-over a cross appears. (The one that appears when you click on the magnyfing glass and see a full screen image in the expanded gallery.) Clicking the cross brings you back in the gallery.

1. We will add option “Show gallery item title – yes/no” in our updates. Temprorary solution is to add: .ls-mental-bottombar{display:none} if you want to hide that panel at all with share buttons toghether. or this if you want hide only title .lsmb-title{display:none} This is placed in theme settings/skins custom css box. As for scrolling I’m thinking to add zoom effect like it is on Expaning version after zoom. This is the only way to do, because this page is reponsive, if we show actual size, then there would appear horizontal scrolling, or picture will not cover screen.
Hm 960px? The reason why we did max 760 pix, is because of tablet portait, so it fit. However we will try to find solution and add option for expanding gallery so admin choose whether to show big image for expanding, I will advice with our developer.

You’re right, 960 for all pictures is indeed to big. Could the theme recognize the format of the image? For example with a maximum of 960 for wide images and the actual maximum height for portrait images?

I added a link to my footer (through theme settings), but instead of directing the page to it it searches the link within my files. Ex: I wrote: http://somesite.com/ and it searches (and of course cannot find): http://www.mysite.com/\"http:/somesite.com/\" what is wrong? Thanks

You have to sign in in toolkit. Then go under Themes tab, there will see Mentas theme, and a link to update theme.
Mentas theme is there, with other themes I purchased. But there is no update link. I attached a photo in a direct mail I’m sending.

Hi, I had a couple of questions. I was wondering, how to change the logo “M” on the map pointer on the contact screen and replace it with something else?
What are max/preferred dimensions to use for the main logo?
How do I allow more space for the “tag line” under the main logo so the line doesn’t wrap?. When it wraps and you scroll down, the hanging words appears below the floating menu. How do I make the whole phrase appear on one line and not wrap to the next line?
Also, the skin colour options are not functioning. Nothing happens when I select the override options on the Appearance > Theme Settings panel or on a specific page. How do you fit it? I want to use yellow.
Considering this is not community theme, however was told it should be easy to enable it, how do I enable a user profile page and login?

1. “M” is a marker image, please look at screenshot http://screencast.com/t/t7L9DnZeynH0 as you see you can change marker url.When you insert thru shortcode, there is option to upload marker image. Also you can upload from media manager, and then copy and replace url.
2. Logo size – whatever logo you upload max-width won’t be more than 150px. Because of design and sidebar. However you touched
3. Tag line – this is because space for logo is 2 and for menu is 10 in total 12 column grid. But you touched important matter, we will put in theme config option, so that use can increase space for logo, and discrease for menu. I can send you temprorary solution, but if you update theme it will be overriden, so better to wait 1-2 days, and we will update theme with this option.
4. Skins – I tested, you are right, yellow color is emtpy. We will fullfill it and post in our next update, 1-2 days. However you can set your desired colors under “Custom Colors” and override each color field, you can change 1,2, ... or all colors.
5. User profile – Let me check user profile recommendation and get back to you asap.
By default even in Wordpress native themes, when you click on username under certain post, it least to a blog where all this user’s posts are. The same in our theme.
For Woocommerce, there is http://mental-wp.azelab.com/my-account/ page, this is a part of WooCommerce.
I believe the same is for Buddypress or BBpress, if you install you should see.
There are also serveral advanced user management plugins for Wordpress, per example this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/users-ultra/screenshots/
It depend for what purposes you want to use.
Hi Again, just to inform you after your yesterday’s post we are still working on Logo and Tagline options, to give more freedom. So you can upload wider logo than 150px, or just switch off tagline. These features are prior, and we release them asap in our updates.

Hi, Every time I try to remove all social icons and press save, all the icons come back. It lets me remove some of them but not all of them. If I try to leave the link blank, it makes an empty bright rectangle. How can I remove all of them?

We have just submitted theme update with option to switch off social links in theme config under socials tab. Once it approved by moderators you will get email notification, then you can download theme and replace with your current one, then you can remove css hack I sent earlier.

While installing a theme, you installed required plugins, one of them is “Envato Toolkit” you should see it on the admin panel left column.
Click it, then authorize one time, there you will see when updates available, and can update theme directly from that tool, if you don’t want to download from your Themeforest account.
It is not possible to update theme automatically, because Envato (Themeforest) requires to submit updates to this site, and it is moderated before updates become available.

No, it doesn’t. In Envato toolkit page, there is tab Themes. Under Themes tab you should see “Mentas” theme, and status about update with link.

In the menu, How can I link directly to a section on the One page layout?

Each section has an ID, when you add new section (doesn’t matter thru shortcode or manually) in result there is something like this:
in example above “testimonials” is a section id.
So final step is add menu item which will link to this section in onepage.
So you go to Appereance/Menus, Select a menu to edit: Onepage
Then, from left add new menu item, with a link URL #testimonials

Hi I just purchased your theme even though i’m totally newbie of Wordpress and HTML stuffs. It’s challenging for me but going forward step by step with your wonderful theme.
I have 2 questions.
1. As far as I understand with the item detail, Layer Slider is Included in this theme but I don’t know why the following message is shown when I try to install and activate the plugin.
“Downloading install package from /home/divitiae/public_html/wp-content/themes/mental/plugins/LayerSlider.zip… Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”
2. I’m editing your demo ‘Home v2.1 – Onepage with video’ and uploaded background video in media library folder and successfully changed the background video URL. After that I just choose a image in Onepage top slider in edit page to test what it would look like. This image showed up Main page. I clicked the button of remove slider several times but it still exists. What else can I do to get the background movie back in the main page?

Please download latest version of mental theme and replace files. Yesterday we submitted new version with bug fixes and added new features.
The issue you mention under point #2 will be solved with new version.
As for issue #1 this should be a problem, we tested. But alternatively, you can take LayerSlider.zip from theme directory it is in plugins.
Then go to admin panel, plugins, install news, and upload LayerSlider.zip from plugin installer.

Hello, azelab! Thank u for ur theme! I bought it some days ago, and found some bugs with One Page: In Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Skins -> Skin preset: Colors Blue, Cerulean, Yellow, Orange & Light are the same (nothing changes, if I choose it).
And tell me please, is there some way to change color settings in Qoute Section? With best regards, Maxim
In some skins we put only 1-2 colors in point of design.
I think you didn’t see changes because you looked at the page where color skin colors were overridden. Per example for sidebar version of home page in demo, we reassigned colors(as you know our theme allow to override any page settings, which override main theme settings).
Beside that, you can set your own custom colors for default skin under “Custom Color” section.
As for quote section, background there is grey, neutral color. Sure it is easy to change that background color thru custom css code.

1) Is this theme compatible with the following plugins: a) Visual Composer 4.3 b) Slider Revolution c) Buddypress
2) What does a user profile looks like? IE. when you click on an author’s name
3) Also, on the Onepage Demo, is it possible to have the menu stick?
4) Will you be adding Language menu options to the Onepage setup?
Small fixes: On my android mobile phone, some of the content isn’t loading. IE, 5) Do you plan on fixing any of these issues, if so when? On the Onepage V2 -#2 Our services item #2 item is not appearing, -#2 and #3 our pricing chart,
On mobile home v2-1-onepage with video -The video isn’t loading. -Some Fun Facts has a large empty pace after the paragraph. The icons don’t load but the space it would occupy is there. It’s an empty black space that the user needs to scroll past -The map sometime shows and somethings doesn’t
Suggestion: A great feature to have on the Onepage and other lengthy pages is a partially transparent button once you scroll to the bottom of page that would brings you back to the top.

Yes – Visual Composer work perfectly with our theme and is compatiable with Ultimate Shortcodes.
Yes – Slider Revolution works perfectly with any wordpress theme including our theme too. It is standalone plugin.
We didn’t test Buddy Press, but I guess it should work too, since it is standalone plugin.
2. Currently when you click on author name on the blog, it display all post of that user. User profile page is needed. This is not community theme, however should be easy to enable this.

4. Yes
On mobile video is not seen, is not a bug, we hide it, because in small screen video is not so well seen and adobpt to screen, because text is over and video is not visible. So we decided to not show video on mobile.
Other bugs you mentioned we will check, and if there really some bugs, we will fix them asap, within 1-2 days.
Thank you for suggestion about “back to top” but there plenty of such plugins for it, and we left this for customer choice.

Very interesting looking theme. The WC expanding feature is exactly what i was looking for.
1) is it possible to have this expanding WC feature added into the one page style? eg. http://mental-wp.azelab.com/home/onepage-v2/ with a expanding shop page?
2) is it possible to make the top slider image (above the menu) a parallax version?
3)is it possible to have a second fixed menu above the slider as well as the one that scrolls up? (when user scrolls down the page, both menus combine)
if the any of the above are not easily achievable through the configurations, do you think it would cost a lot to add custom coding to this?

2. We have an option to insert any html content above menu, per example http://mental-wp.azelab.com/home/home-v2-1-onepage-with-video/. Instead that video, possible to enter paralax slider shortcode, possible will need some css tricks to adobt to screen. But functionally is possible to enter anything instead that video. So, answer is yes.
3. Honestly I can’t image how that would look and function. If you could send a link along with more detailed explanation..

I’ve looked at your demo sites, and got it. Well, currently there is not such feature, but idea is interesting, we added it to our to do list.
If you buy this theme, you will be able to use it long time, because we are going to invest a lot of our time to support and development, and make it #1 Creative site, with all possible modern features.
Nonetheless, any theme you purchase would require some customization to make it the same as you want, but in any case you will save hundreds of hours.
We spent about 500-600 hours to develop “Mental” theme.

I’ve just been looking at your other work. They all look really good and the time you have spent on this theme definitely comes across.
Definite improvement without the black colour. Personally I would drop the black colouring behind the catagories and “load more” section too as my current page colouring wouldnt suit it like yours. I also wouldnt need it to say Products ontop as my customers would be expecting to see products somewhere on the page.
I have added you to my favorites.
Yes, all themes would require customisation. Unfortunitly my coding knowledge is not very good so id need to get it as close to my ideal theme as possible.

Title “Products” can be changed to anything you may wish, it is entered manually, or even can remove it.
Colors, hm, is easy to change too, to the one you wish. Such easy things we can help for free.

I like the v4 homepage – but I would like the header to be sticky and horizontal – is that possible?
I should clarify – when you go to “About Us” the menu goes to the side – I would like it to stay on top as a sticky header – is that possible?
It is just for demo on each page menu in different side, just for demo, to show visitors that it is possible to place menu on side or top. So you can have top menu on about us page too, just if you assign top menu in config for that page, instead sidebar menu.
But if you want title where written “About us” to be sticky, you can achive it with 2-3 lines of css.

Hi your theme looks awesome but i have some questions before i buy it.
1. Is it possible to have on gallery items (photos) a button that links the photo to the equivalent photo(digital product)? This very important for anyone who wants to have a photo shop (instead of read more) and a shopping cart next to social icons. Because woocommerce galleries are so not good for photographs.
2. Galleries should be able to go to the next photo just by clicking on the photo or just by using the mouse wheel and not needing to find the arrow on the edge of the screen it so much easier for the visitor.
3. http://mental-wp.azelab.com/home/home-v1/ This kind of gallery is great! But can i have infinite scroll without having to press load more?

1. Our woocommerce has 2 version of index and category page. One of version is standart woocommerce layout, another one is the same as expanding gallery. Please look at demos:

2. Great idea, we including this in priority to do list for update
3. I think this is easy to do. We will include this feature in to do list too. Giving option in admin area for webmaster to choose: “Load more” or “Infinity scroll”
about mouse wheel or click on image, there is already alternative navigation as arrow keys right and left on keyboard. Maybe we will include mouse scroll, but definetly not click, because it may confuse user

Apart from that a photographer who wants to sell his photos wants to make buyers life easy by giving him the option to add any photo to his cart directly from all kinds of galleries, this will make your theme unique to anyone who is interested to build a project like mine. You will have the only theme doing that!!
Also you should incorporate easy digital downloads that is becoming more and more known for digital goods but anyways, if you put some more work in this magnificent theme it could become best seller…but you have to understand all the buyers needs

1. That button is generig, and lead to gallery item page. What is possible to do is, to remove “read more” button, and insert static button with a link to product page.
But again, it is better to use Expanding version of shop rather than linking gallery items to shop item. Why to do that, if our WooCommerce has the same look and feel like http://mental-wp.azelab.com/ with the same layout and style.

yes, expanding gallery already exist for woocommerce, and it is what you need, and I think it is possible to adapt other woocommerce pages to digital product selling.

1) The next button(arrow) in the expanded gallery should get me to the next product(picture) of the gallery and not next picture from multiple photos of the same item/product.
2) Also this feature is not embedded in the standard gallery too. What I intend to do is use the standard gallery with buttons like the expanded woocommerce gallery and this is because the standard gallery size thumbnails wide proportions are way more appropriate for a photography gallery because of the wide stracture http://mental-wp.azelab.com/ Also the standard gallery aesthetics is way better.
This way you have greater usability in a great gallery with buy options embedded
I really appreciate your fantastic work, and your kindness to look into my requests but i have a customer with specific demands and i strive for creating a great website. I hope you don’t find me too demanding as i think what i ask makes your theme so much unique, because all other portfolio themes don’t have great masonry gallery with buy options, and the woocommerce galleries they use are not good for selling photos.

We try to implement most of customers desired features into our theme. Though some request are individual like you asked in your point #1, because when item expandad, all info shown under it is related to that item, images description etc
2. Next item photo is possible only in single item view, per example in the version where thumbs are. In version 1.0.1 We added an option for customer to choose, (by default it show only images of the same item). “Show previous and next post’s images and videos in the full size slide”
We will be able to do customization works after January 12th. If you buy this theme, and insert content by that time, organize site, then after 12th, we will be able to do this customization for you for reasonable cost if you would like you can contact me directly by skype zaur1979.
Hi there, Good job with the theme.
I’d like single gallery posts to rotate several images, but with “single-work-full-width-style-2” or “single-work-full-width-style-1” template (full width).
At the moment, the two layouts mentioned above make a very nice image slider (wide), but that slider is filled with gallery posts (some sort of related post lists) and NOT images from the same single gallery post, as it should.
Any solution to this? Thx

I am interested in buying this theme for the ecommerce layout (looks awesome, great job!)... and I am wondering if it supports a Catalog Mode Option (Hide cart and checkout functionality) with WooCommerce?

Beside, it should be very easy to remove shopping button from necessary template files. We can assist you with this if you purchase our theme.
