Is it possible to have the theme adapt so that the “author” profile page is what is listed ? As a single business listing, not multiple listings for the account holder… Also, with the buddy press or multisite ? Such as adding a Q&A section /script to work with the same account profiles?

This really isn’t a support question. I know you’re busy with many questions, but such a default copy and pasted reply, rather than addressing the question is poor customer service. Especially to a An exisiting customer.
If you need help Johnny please contact us, even if it sounds like a pre-sales question you will get a faster response via support.

Hi,
Can I create an option to allow users to choose to pay for a full year listing or to pay monthly? If so, what is the best practice to do this using your theme?
Beautiful theme btw!

Hi,
I wonder if I can use RTL?
Are you be able to do that for me? since its based on WP, plugin would help me for RTL?
In regards of user registering. I think there is three option starts with bronze I guess/ I wonder if there is a way for making registering free?
I also wonder if I could using other plugin ex. plugin for ads sidbar?
Looking forward to purchase this amazing theme soon>>
Best,
Hi there,
1) http://listify.astoundify.com/article/559-does-the-listify-theme-support-rtl-right-to-left-language
2) Users do not need to purchase to submit a listing. If you’d like to have your users submit their free listings, do not install the WC Paid Listings plugin.
3) There are many widgetized areas on the theme, including the entire homepage. See this article as well: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/527-can-i-add-banner-ads-on-my-listify-powered-directory
Hope this helps!
Thanks,

Hi, just wondering if its possible to use custom icons not included with the theme?
Are then any folders that have to be writeable for the css class for icons to work? I added this “ion-ios-compose-outline” to submit listing to try replicate what your demo has but no icon appears.
Oh ok, just ion-compose – just wondering how to tell what is needed and what isnt from the full class name? ion-ios-compose-outline

Quick pre-sales question if you don’t mind. If someone claims a listing, after they have been approved, how do they go about editing the listing? Is it via the wordpress dashboard or something custom made?
Thanks.
Hi there,
Users can edit their listings through a custom front-end listing screen, seen here: http://cl.ly/image/2V1q2I2m0x1K
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Bryan
Is there a way to get rid of the recent listing widget on the homepage, I deleted it from the widget section but it still show’s up?
Also the “Listfy is the best way to find & discover great local businesses” with a button that say’s”create a account” how do you edit that?

Hi there,
Really interested in this theme, but seeing as there are approximately a hundred WP directory themes and plugins out there, I’m having a really hard time figuring out what to purchase. Hoping you could help answer a few of these questions before I make the dive.
First off, I really want the main page of my site to show a map with my listings, not a video background and search box. Is this possible?
Also, I don’t want to show star ratings of any kind anywhere on my listings. Possible?
Also wondering if it’s possible to change the map icons based on listing type? (I.e. restaurants would have one icon and stores might have another icon.)
Fourth, do I just need to buy the theme, or is there anything else I need to buy? I don’t want to integrate any kind of payments or commerce at this point. Just a directory of listings with write-ups and stuff.
Lastly, is it possible to add listings as events and maintain a calendar of events?
Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
1) Yes, you can set a map. Check out our article here about setting up your homepage, particularly the section about Hero Settings: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/261-creating-your-homepage
2) http://listify.astoundify.com/article/587-remove-star-ratings
3) http://listify.astoundify.com/article/241-choose-the-map-icons
4) There are some plugins that we recommend installing, they actually come as part of a bulk install: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/320-bulk-install-required-and-recommended-plugins.
However, you do not need to use all of the plugins we describe in the sales page: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/539-do-i-have-to-use-the-plugins-as-described-in-your-sales-page
.5) Integration with an Events Plugin is planned, there are many options so we are currently evaluating the best plugin for the job, so far we like the look of Events Calendar by Modern Tribe as it integrates with WooCommerce for selling tickets. We will need to add some customize styling and it will be supported by Listify.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Bryan
Hi, I dont want to pay for WP Paid listings. I am thinking of a cheaper pricing table option that I already have to be used as a widget in front page or through page builder. I dont need paid listings. However, I wanted to check what are the other functionalities that WP Paid listings brings or Simple Sistings brings. If not can I skip buyng this as I dont need above two features. I need core WP booking – kindly confirm that can work well with your theme till order booking without WP Job Listing.
Got your email, no need to double post, just increases the amount of support and pre-sales comments on ThemeForest.net we must do

I’ve had Listify a couple of days now and I’m impressed by most of the features.
A small problem is that listings categories which don’t have any geolocation set will default to a map from the U.S. – I’m in the UK. I can set a default location in the Customise >> Listings >> Map Behaviour section, but that then overwrites a listings geolocation latitude and longtitude whenever it’s edited?
I’d appreciate any pointers on getting around that? Ideally I’d like to still display a map of the town that the listings relate to – definitely not the U.S.
Thanks

Hello,
This theme looks amazing! Truly awesome stuff…
One quick presale question, has it been tested to see how many listings it can load ? I have a massive database of listings and I would like to make sure it can handle it.
Hi there,
You can import all of your listings. We’ve already seen a few users with thousands of listings imported. Check out this article if you haven’t already: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/518-how-do-i-import-my-listings-into-listify

Does WooCommerce Bookings Extension have a frontend or would it be used from the wp-admin dashboard?
Hi there,
Right now, it’s from the WP dashboard. However, I believe WC Vendor is building one, but I’m not 100% sure. You can contact them to find out for sure: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wc-vendors

Help Us Translate Listify!
Do you speak one of these? French, German, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Spanish or any other language?
We are looking for help translating the Listify theme into other languages, and so far we are making some good progress with the help of the ThemeForest community who’ve purchased Listify
Lets get Listify translated into as many different languages as possible so that more people can enjoy using the theme in their native language.
Thanks so much! Adam

Hi, Does this theme have capacity to add custom posts to a listing… and show-case them in equally amazing manner. For example, Food Menus for restaurant and enable ordering directly from the food menu? How do I set up that function? I think Woocommerce product should enable that – kindly advise how?

Hello,
wonderful site!
It looks like there are posts, pages and listings. When a customer signs in, they are taken to a listings page, is this right? Aside from media, will a customer have access to anything else on my dashboard?
If a customer is directed to a listings page, what would an author like myself use the posts for? A separate blog? Or is there another use you recommend?
Job Manager looks to be for managing classified employment ads. I won’t have employment listings. Do I just assume “job listing” means “any listing”?
Can I assign an image to a particular listing category?
thank you!
Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in Listify!
1) Yes, users will be directed to their own Listing pages and will only have access to edit their given listing. Unless that user is setup as an admin for your site, in which case they’d have the same access as you.
2) Yes, you can use the posts for an overall site blog, as seen on our demo here: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/blog/. Users can also post blogs to their own listings, seen here: https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/author/AppThemer/
.3) WP Job Manager drives a lot of other functionality on the site including (all add-ons to the Job Manager plugin): Bookmarks, Tags, Paid Listings, Reviews, and more. You can see a list of the paid plugins we use on the demo here: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/532-what-paid-plugins-do-you-use-on-your-listify-theme-demo
4) If you’re referring to the homepage listing categories, these images are automatically pulled based on the featured images for the listings in those given categories. So, if you had 3 listings in “Chicago”, the image on the homepage would rotate one of those 3 images on page load. If that doesn’t answer your question, let me know.
Thanks,
Bryan
I am very tempted to buy this theme, but it seems to need a lot of extra add ons, some of which cost money. My question is: if I want to get up and running, just like the demo, how much does it cost, and do you have a quick set up xml file to reproduce what you have in the demo ?
Please review: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/539-do-i-have-to-use-the-plugins-as-described-in-your-sales-page
And http://listify.astoundify.com/article/260-why-does-this-theme-require-plugins
We do have a quick setup using, see: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/236-installing-demo-content should take no longer than 10mins to setup like our demo.
Cheers! Adam
