What would it take to make “WP Job Manager – Apply with LinkedIn” work with Listify? I want to use it for visitors to use their LinkedIn to connect with Listings.
We have answered your question, on the Jobify comments.
http://listify.astoundify.com/article/481-currently-compatible-add-onsCheers! Adam
I can see it is not compatible but why is it not? The plugin developer told me that you can build support by adding code to the theme files?
We do not want to add support for Apply with LinkedIn at this time.
There is not enough demand for the feature, we must invest many hours making sure it’s compatible, but for the amount of work involved it is not currently worth the investment in time.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks, Will look for a developer to hire for installing this template after purchasing it but, would you please suggest the best plugin of slider to use it home page or product page.?
Also, when is the next update of this site?
You can use any slider plugin on the home page, see: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/547-page-template-homepage-slider
Theme updates are issued every 3 days currently.
Cheers! Adam

Hi there,
Thanks for the kind words.
1) We do not offer installation. You can follow the install guide to setup like the demo see here or hire a developer from Envato Studios
2) Just answered this for you above. Here’s the article again: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/559-does-the-listify-theme-support-rtl-right-to-left-language. We would not set this up for you, we don’t have the resources to offer that kind of service at this time.
Thanks,
Bryan
Hi,
Im very interested to buy this theme. If i buy that can you install it for me so its look 100% as the demo version?
Best regards Ramazan
You can just follow the install guide to setup like the demo see here or hire a developer from Envato Studios.
Cheers! Adam
Hi Adam,
Oh, im not so good to install even though you have a video guide…
So if i buy the theme, than you cant help me to install it for me so its look like the demo? Cause i dont want to hire a developer, then it will be very expensive for me ..
Regards Ramazan
Its very, very simple to follow our setup guide, would take my grandmother “bedstemor” about 10 minutes to set it up.
Cheers! Adam
Ok nice! So if i follow the guide and install it , then my website will look 100% like the demo?
I dont have to do another else for example buy plugins, another changes so on??
It will look like the demo if you have all plugins installed and follow the setup guide.

Answers To Common Questions
Please review our pre-sales FAQ questions as there are many questions already answered here that may help you with your buying decision. Thanks! Adam
Wow! I just checked the plugins and the prices, and they are very expensive, if i have to buy them all then the price will be over 1000$ all inclusive if my website have to look like the demo ????
Do you need all the plugins is the question. Do you need WooCommerce Bookings? Does your site that you are building need this feature? Do you need to offer subscriptions to your listing owners? If you don’t need these features then you don’t need to use the plugins, the theme still works without all plugins.
Cheers! Adam
Yes i need all the plugins, 100% the same like the demo…
Hey, Ramazan. You get that we are just selling a theme here on ThemeForest, right?.
It can be used on a site just as it is. We’ve coded the theme to look beautiful while also being lightweight and fast to load.
Many people use our themes for more than just a “look good” website. They want to build a business on the web, and our themes (including Listify), help them with that.
Of course just like running any business, you’ll likely have to spend more money than just getting cool business cards. This theme delivers a great look, but it can do much more than that.
To get the most from the theme, we’ve made sure it works well with the list of plugins on our sales page. Most themes don’t work like that. They look pretty alone, but when you add some plugins for functionality, it looks cruddy. That’s because the theme developer didn’t plan for the use of those plugins.
We have planned for the use of several plugins. What that means is that if you use those plugins, not only do you get added functionality, but that functionality looks just as sharp as the theme without the plugins.
So while you don’t need to use those plugins, if you choose to buy and use them, we’re positive you’ll still be delighted with your purchase of our theme.
Cheers! Adam
Hi there,
You do not have to use all of the paid plugins as we use in the demo. If you re-read this article, you’ll noticed we give free plugin alternatives: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/539-do-i-have-to-use-the-plugins-as-described-in-your-sales-page
Thanks,
Bryan
Nice theme. Just throwing this out there. On the demo, when I type in California, I get results. When I type is CA, I get results. When I click on the Google drop down menu that appears (i.e., “California United States”), no listings appear. Same thing when I use the drop down for San Francisco.
Hello,
Kindly ask you to reply..
Its not supporting RTL 100%? if I am going to purchase the theme now are you make it to support 100% since I do not have web background?
Waiting
Hi there,
Please see this article: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/559-does-the-listify-theme-support-rtl-right-to-left-language
Thanks,

Hey there,
Can this work somehow like yelp?
Hi there,
What features were you looking for aside from the ability to submit listings, add reviews, users adding photos for listings, etc.? These are all features of the theme.
Thanks,
Bryan
Sorry my bad,
What I meant was if it can be set so that anyone can add a any no. of business without the need of purchasing a plan. And if afterwards an owner can claim the business. Thank you for your time and patience. QuasimodoV
Hi there,
No problem at all. Yes, users can submit listings without purchasing a plan and then use the Claim Listing feature. Check out this article: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/515-how-does-the-feature-claim-a-listing-work
Does that answer your question?
Thanks!
Bryan
hello,
I plan to build an international classified ads / directory listings portal, so just a few pre-purchase questions to help me make a decision:
1) how many levels deep can I create for each category, and each sub-category? For example,
- a site visitor chooses USA from the Country drop-down list, can he go this deep: Country > State/Province > County > City > Borough > Area > etc.
- a site visitor choose Vehicles > Toyota > Vans > Previa > 2011 > Diesel, and so on
2) Can I add custom fields for every sub-category and category that I create?
3) Can I add all currencies of the world so that the site visitor can choose his preferred currency when viewing or posting a listing or ad?
4) And, as is often asked by others, can the site visitor or member choose his preferred language when searching for or adding a listing?
thanks in advance.

Hi Listify team,
Great-looking theme! Congrats!
I have 4 pre-sales questions…
1) I’m very confused that your directory seems to be missing a very basic function (with or without third-party plugins) that any directory should have: listing packages.
It seems like you refer to “packages” as listings that last a period of time, but the way I define them (and I think many others too) is simply this: different types of listings, each one with more or less allowed content depending on if it’s free, paid (or paid even more). Package types typically look like this (just to give you an idea):
“Free” – limited text description, no contact form, lower hierarchical search result listing, optional no click-thru page to main listing page, unclickable website link
“Gold” – Higher search result rankings, more description (still limited), limited photos, active URL, contact form
“Platinum” – Top search results ranking, long description, more photos, more media, contact form, more content, more fields…
Can I do this now with Listify?
2) Is it possible to have the site in multiple languages? For example having flags or a language dropdown at the top right corner of a website and letting the user choose, which then loads the site in that language?
3) I like the idea I’ve read about using a Woocommerce plugin to let listing owners sell stuff. Can you point to a section of your demo site where this feature is showcased?
4) I do not understand the “deals” you showcase on your demo site. I also tried registering as a listing owner but I am made to choose deals as if they were packages. Typically as a listing owner I expect to ‘build’ my own deal and not to choose from already existing ones. Is this going to change or did I incorrectly understand the current functionality?
Thanks.
H
Hi H,
1) Listing packages are exactly what you’ve described. You do need to use WooCommerce Paid Listings to create listing packages: http://listify.astoundify.com/category/222-wp-job-manager---woocommerce-paid-listings
As far as features you’ve listed for each package, content cannot be restricted per package. You can charge users to “feature” a listing which will make the post sticky at the top of search results: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/512-how-does-a-listing-get-featured.
2) Yes. We’re currently suggesting the use of Polylang > WPML right now until WP Job Manager full supports WPML. http://listify.astoundify.com/article/523-does-the-theme-and-plugins-support-multilingual-translations
3) https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listing/1596-queen-street-w-toronto-on-m6r-glory-hole-doughnuts/ The coupon at the bottom of this listing is a product.
Listing owners can create their own products with the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin and then link it to their listing using the WP Job Manager – Products plugin. http://listify.astoundify.com/article/507-how-do-i-allow-vendors-to-sell-products-through-my-listify-powered-website
4) The deals in the submission form are an optional field based on offers that you feature on your website. Users can create their own deals/products using the WC Product Vendors plugin. http://listify.astoundify.com/article/507-how-do-i-allow-vendors-to-sell-products-through-my-listify-powered-website
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Bryan
Hi Bryan,
Thanks for your quick reply to all those answers.
In reply to 2 of those points…
1) Honestly, it’s very hard for me to envision a directory website that can be easily monetized if it can only charge businesses for a “featured” option (which is not at all a strong USP…) or offering bundle listings (most companies will have only 1 anyway)...
It’s almost a given that a directory website makes its money by selling listings with different levels of content to justify differences in prices – or to justify offering a price at all versus a free plan.
Seems like all of the main directory websites out there do that – from yellowpages.com (or .ca or .nz .fr – all of them) to dedicated software like Arca solution’s eDirectory, or many other directory templates I found here on Themeforest.
I’m a bit surprised because you market this as “the last Wordpress directory you will ever buy” but it seems like you’ve forgotten this very important element of a directory.
Are there perhaps any plans underway to make this happen? If not, would you consider this as needed upgrade to your current offering at all? I’m obviously not asking for any commitment, but I’d like to gauge if you and your development team see this as the vital issue that it is..
2) Regarding the deal on that url you shared to showcase what the WooCommerce Product Vendor plugin looks like: it’s a bit confusing so the demo could maybe look like a physical product so others get it without having to bug you.
But then – since the plugin is very expensive – I’m curious to see how it looks like if the listing owner offers perhaps 5 or 10 products… what does Listify do? How does it display them? can listing owner choose to display them as a list or a grid? Does it just keep making the listing page longer & longer as it displays all those products?
Thanks again for your most valuable support! Harv
We never forgot this feature, perhaps you just didn’t see our FAQ articles or our posts regarding this?
In the future you will have more control of pricing packages and what fields display on the submission form, example the free package does not display image upload, video upload, limit text that can be input in the fields etc.
This is a feature that will be added to the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.
Cheers! Adam
Thanks Adam for the very fast reply – you guys are super! Understood – and happy that it’s on the way.
Wondering if it’s something that you could write on the “Item Detail” page as future upcoming features as I can see that some asked the same questions… so you don’t get filled with questions and future customers don’t have to go hunting in posts for a basic need.
Thanks again! Harv
I’ll add it
Cheers! Adam

Hello Team,
I use a ContactForm7 form in my website. Whenever someone send a message to me in my contact form (ContactForm7) , I get an email similar to below without an actual message. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I think it is due to some settings in the ContactForm7.
Please assist.

Hi, I want to set up a default hero image for each Listing Category, which will get assigned to all the listings without an image to show on top bar, for specific category. Is that possible? If not, is there a way to assign a default image/thumbnail for all new listings?

Hi guys! Very nice job.
P.S.
Got your design inspiration from the new Airbnb.com perhaps?

Hi,
The theme looks great and is exactly what I was looking for, so thank you.
Though I found some strange behavior when I resize my browser on pc or rotate my mobile/tablet from landscape to portrait orientation on the listing archive page. After resizing/rotation the header and menu disappear. Also when you resize the browser from small to fullwidth in map view the header and the toggle menu ‘results/map’ completely disappear.
Could you please advise?
Thanks in advance.
Is your theme compliant with PHP 5.5?
Yes, only requirement is PHP 5.2.4 or greater.
Thanks,
Bryan
Hello from Madrid! I have registered for help to translating in spanish two minutes ago!
We are ready to buy Listify and have some questions that are crucial for a project:
Need to add an extra / custom field that permit us to add up html in order to insert an item to download by the user, a QR code with a typical icon and text “download”… etc
That field has to be ideally located in two places: 1 – below the name of the listing (like the stars an d the hearth for favorite it) 2 – below the url link and a special icon call to action the download.
As an example, I link this listing on the demo site for you. https://demo.astoundify.com/listify/listing/555-liberty-village-toronto-ontario-canada-astoundify-barbershop/It is possible or have the template some custom fields?
Thank you and congratulations for your awesome work.

@stefstacey are you looking at the correct plugin?
For my add-ons, I offer premium support via the WPJM website. https://wpjobmanager.com/support-policy/
For the free plugin, we support users on WordPress.org (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wp-job-manager) – and this is a lot more than many developers.
And finally, we have lots of docs: https://wpjobmanager.com/documentation/
Maybe I’m bias, but this to me is far from poor
Thanks Mike. You are doing a stellar job with WP Job Manager!
Thanks so much for your hard work allowing us to create themes such as Listify and Jobify.
Cheers! Adam
Is it possible trying a backend demo? I would like to know how much it’s flexible to submit listing and the different profile pages.
Thanks.
Hi there,
We don’t have a backend demo available but you can use the Submit Listing form on the demo, go through the entire process, including submitting the listing with a dummy credit card.
Thanks,
Bryan
Help Us Translate Listify!
Do you speak one of these? French, German, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Spanish or any other language?
We are looking for help translating the Listify theme into other languages, and so far we are making some good progress with the help of the ThemeForest community who’ve purchased Listify
Lets get Listify translated into as many different languages as possible so that more people can enjoy using the theme in their native language.
Thanks so much! Adam
Thanks for checking out the Listify theme the “last directory theme you will ever buy!”
We are super excited for the launch of this product and we think you’ll love it as much as we do. If you are looking for details on the theme check out our sales page and also our theme documentation.
We always love feedback and questions and all those “Good luck with sales comments” so keep them coming
Please don’t hesitate to provide us with feedback on features you’d like to see as we want to listen to our users and give them what they want if there is a large enough demand for it.
Cheers – Adam.
