Hi there, I’m using the full-width portfolio with 4 column option enabled in fixed grid (masonry disabled). The picture of each project seems to be dependent on its aspect ratio; tall items are still rendered tall, and each item is slightly different in height leaving gaps.
Is there a way to make the fixed grid scale the project items to a fixed height? Or should I create a featured image manually with the same aspect ratio for every project?

I was away for 3 months and i left my site displaying regularly. I haven’t been online for that period of time but now when i came to check up on it it isn’t showing up properly. The theme seems to have faded away (Literally)

One more suggestion:
I have found many widgets and plugins for sidebar-navigation. But I have not yet found ANY theme or plug-in offering a picturized menu-page structure.
Meaning: I wanted for each MAIN-menu point to have a landing-page with boxes linking to the different sub-menus. So far I have had to create like 3 column rows with text and images manually. But that is a really crappy solution when pages go larger + when adding hyperlinks so many thing always screw up + you have no “search content” linking on column-level. So it is all copy-paste. And when changing a title or such I am screwed.
Do you get what I mean?

text are not aligned if the texts are not at the same lengths. Any way to force them to aligned theirselves together (all the first one at the same level, same for the second level) because I would like to use a background for that part of text so I would like to not split them..

If you’re using the full width content row type you’ll have access to the option to vertically center all the content within the columns, it seems that you already have that on – but if you’d prefer to have the text all aligned to the top just disable that

When I don’t put any content in the Call-to-Action button filed area can you please take the code out? So that no button appears. I use the CTA text area some times to just add some text to make visitors aware of something without using the button. No content > no button.

Another suggestion on how to make your theme even more cooler!
Every time I add some custom CSS to the general-window and press save, I get thrown back to top of the page. Then I need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the CSS window again.
And if testing if some CSS works, it suddenly takes long to do changes, when having to scroll all the time

How do I edit the script that contains code about smooth scrolling to anchors? My problem is that it scrolls a little bit lower than expected to (about 18 px). That appears to be because I used images in menu (by default there’s margin-bottom: 18px for any img. I can’t just remove the images (I really need them), so please help
If it’s possible to solve the problem without coding, it’s okay too!

I have tried to deactivate all plugins, but that didnt work. I tried to re-upload all files and overwrite existing ones, but that didnt work either.
If I delete all the files, will I lose my current settings? I assume all those are stored in the database right?
Hey – yes, even after deleting and uploading the new theme your settings will persist since they are indeed stored in the database

Hi, I love how the portfolio part is updated and how the pagination works now! But a few more questions: 1) Is there a way I can get rid of ‘ALL’ category and only show separate categories?
2) When I paginate the portfolio page, the categories only show those that are only applicable to the images that are on the page. For example, I have categories of ‘Background’, ‘People’, ‘Clothes’. But on page 1, there’s only images of ‘people’ and ‘background’ and the category menu only shows ‘people’ and ‘background’, but I want the menu to show ‘clothes’ category as well, although it’s on page 6. Is there a way to do this?

So for my portfolio page, I have 3 categories: background, portrait, and clothes. When I first click ‘portfolio’ link, it shows all photos in my portfolio, which I don’t want. When I first click the link, I want it to show, for example, all images under background category, instead of showing all images in my portfolio. Is that possible?

You can indeed set a page Url to lead directly to one category through the visual composer options in the portfolio element but as of now there would be no other way to do it

1.) Is the outcoming update compatible to the latest release (I’ve been using 4.9). I’ve made some cutom CSS (with your help) and I had to change the order of project attributes in a custom way by editing the single-portfolio.php (I can edtit the part again, but is it the same code?).

Is it possible to update without problems? Is it possible if there are problems to deinstall the theme and install the former release instead (exporting and saving the options and importing them afterwards). Can you give a roadmap of modified flies?
2.) is your recommended resolution (Slider fullwidth is 2000 px wide on my page) really retina compatible and what about the new 5k iMac? Should I increase the resolution?

1. That will still work with the new update but you’d need to make the mod again in your file since it’ll get removed when updating. You could also just keep that file in a child theme to have it persist.
2. It’s a general recommendation for quality & image file size but if you were catering to an audience using retina desktops you should indeed upload the images larger
