Hello, I just purchased “SoulMedic | Flat Responsive Medical & Health Theme” from ThemeForest today.
However, I am having issues with importing demo content. As advised in the installation manual, PHP memory limit, exceution time, upload size are defined correctly.
When I click ‘Import Dummy Data’ button (also accept the alert message), I get following errors;
As the error message is displayed for a second and disappear, I am not able to capture all the error message consent. Below are the part of the pop-up error message.
Can you please advise me how to resolve this issue and get the demo contents installed properly?

I am afraid but I followed the video instruction step by step but still encounter the same errors and unable to install dummy data!!
Only difference that I see is “LayerSlider WP” is activated but showing following warning:
You need to authorize this site in order to get upgrades or support for this plugin. Purchase a license or enter an existing purchase code.
Is demo dummy contents installation error due to this? If so, what is the license code?

The dummy data install issue is not related to the layerslider notification. Just ignore the notification since the slider came with the theme. Please mail your WordPress and FTP Login Credentials through the right bottom form @ http://themeforest.net/user/designthemes so that we will check the dummy data install issue.

Hi., You have to update our theme.
Follow the below steps to update the theme.
1) Download the theme from themeforest page.
2) If you have made any custom changes in the code, please take a backup of it.
3) Overwrite the updated theme files to the older theme files. Update the custom change that you had already.
4) Go to wp-content/plugins/ through FTP
5) Remove the folder designthemes-core-features/ from wp-content/plugins/
6) Then Login to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Install Plugins. Install the Designthemes Core Features plugin. Thats it. Now you are updated to the latest version.

Hi, Product categories have photos,but those categories are not associated with products yet. http://www.kidoptik.ro/shop/ The problem is a blurring of the photos that is appearing when you swap the mouse from one category to another. Believe me or not the source of the problem lied with my very old(above10 years)TFT monitor. Problem doesnt exist with other monitors,evem my old laptop monitor behaves very well. Hi and congrats to the devs for this nice theme. I have a problem with the wooshop plugin that is embeded in theme The problem appears only with firefox,not with Chrome. I added to categories in my procucts page and there is photo assosiated with each category. When I switch the mouse from the one foto to another . Site is under construction but I set it live for 2 days so the community and the devs check this issue.Site can be translated to English,go to the footer for this,the click on the “shop” page button,you will see 2 fotos,swap mouse under the text of each one. Dont forget to open site with firefox. (I suspect a magnifier plugin issue with firefox but thats just me)

For “Soulmedic Posts” Widget how do I Make it so it doesn’t show Author, Date and Comment Count? If I edit the “Post Meta Options” to disable these it does remove them on the Blog page but not on the Recent Blogs/Soulmedic Posts on the Sidebars or Footers.

Yes the “Post Meta Options” applies to only the template page. The Recent Blogs/Soulmedic Posts comes from shortcode and you need to edit the shortcode functions and remove it from the code directly. The recent post shortcodes comes from the file wp-content/themes/soulmedic/framework/sociable_shortcodes.php inside the function dt_sc_recent_post

I was not able to find dt_sc_recent_post in wp-content/themes/soulmedic/framework/sociable_shortcodes.php but found dt_sc_post instead I removed the Author, Date and comment Code but it still displays it in the sidebars and footers would dt_sc_post different from ‘Soulmedic Posts’ widget?

Hi,
I just updated a page with SoulMedic to V1.7. and have an issue with the sociable icons in the header.
Immediately after page load it looks like in old versions, but then all out of sudden the icon design changes/ is animated. After that, when hovering the icon, it is fully overlayed by the color and not clickable at all.
It is the same in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Did not test others.
Please advise on how to fix.

first of all, great theme! no problems at all with this theme until now.
just a quick question regarding the revolution slider plugin:
we’re trying to create a full with video slide for our Revolution slider but with no luck.
if uploaded as youtube video, the video does not fit on the side of the webpage…it shows every time with black bars on the side…
do i have to do the video in a certain size/res?
do i have to upload as HTML5 video? because the WP dont let me upload the video uin Full HD 1080px because the file is too high”
Any sugestion? ideas?
i’ve downlaoded the demo slider to test on my site but when i’ve changed the demo video to mine, i saw the balck bars again :\

I have problem with the portfolio, this time regarding the portfolio’s shortcode.
I have this code: [dt_sc_four_columns_portfolio showposts=”-1” categories=”3,4”] But it doesn’t show anything (it tells “Please add few portfolio items before using this shortcode“). If I remove the categories attribute it shows up all the elements correctly. Hope to hear from you soon, thank you!

Thanks! The page builder will only insert the shortcode with the “columns” so I inserted a “Paste Any Content Here” block and then copy and pasted your shortcode above and it worked! Is there a better way to do this?

Im having trouble setting the Blog in 3 column (or even 2).. Is this a bug ?

1) If you have set the blog page in Dashboard -> Settings -> Readings -> Front page displays -> Posts page: -> Blog, then remove the blog page from that option and check it and now check the columns options that you have chosen in the front end.
2) The best size for the logo is 198×40. Please try uploading this size logo for not having any issues.
