Hey! This would require modding the header.php file located in the theme directory.
THis was a suyper simple fix. In the header.php- simply change “lines” to another icon name. List here http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/

Couple of small issues. 1. the CLOSE button of the search is not closing the search feature. 2. the menu is shown completely for a split second when the page is loaded. Can this be hidden / not shown?

Is it possible to have the Nectar Slider pause when a lightbox is displayed on top of it (for instance, when a button on the slider opens a video)?

You can view our site at http://fphs.lybba.org/. Click on the “Watch Video” button on the slider. You’ll see that the slider continues to animate in the background while the video plays in the lightbox.

I have two things I was hoping you could help with.
The first is that I’m unable to log into your support ticket system. I have tried facebook and manual log in across two different browsers. I’m not seeing any kind of error message or acknowledgement after I attempt to log in.
The second thing is why I was seeking support. I’m setting up a portfolio for the first time and I need some guidance on categories. I have set up a bunch of parent categories but I’m having trouble with the display. When I preview the page, all parent, child etc categories are displayed flat out. I was hoping that the portfolio page would be able to display the categories in a way that illustrated the hierarchy, whether through a drop down from a top level one, or even just grouping. I’d love for only the top categories to be visible for sorting at first, and lower level categories would only become visible once the parent had been clicked.
Is any of this possible?

Unfortunately that’s not possible at this time – if you use the dropdown display rather than a horizontal one you’ll get to see the child categories indented but they won’t display on click but rather all the time.

Hi Nectar, I have problems with languages files – I try to translate my sites (on multidomain wp) to polish and czech but when I put new .po/.mo files into the lang folder (pl_PL cz_CZ) they doesn’t work. Even when I make changes to the deafult .po/.mo files they are not visible on the website… I’ve installed plugin Codestyling Localization, but it shows error when I try to make new files: “The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: js_composer Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching! This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch” Can you help me with that?

When adding thumbnails (VC single image) and I put the link to the larger image and tick “Link to larger image” it pops up the thumbnail instead of large pic in a lightbox. When I untick this then it shows the larger image but without lightbox.
How do I display the thumbnails and open the larger image in a lightbox? Thought this would be automatic behaviour??

I have another question – I cannot seem to find how I would do this anywhere on google. I would like to place a map (which I can do) but I want it to be the whole world map with pins on it.
Possible with the google map shortcode in Salient? Or would I need to embed a map directly from Google?

You can set the zoom level in your map element within visual composer – this can allow you to adjust how close/far the map will be shown out from your center lat/lng

CheersHello, I’ve recently purchased this theme. Its great! I do have one problem though, and i have narrowed it down. My server’s memory(RAM) gets to maximum usage (512mb), whenever I’m in the admin panel with this theme installed and activated. The memory will quickly go from, lets say an average of 70mb usage to the maximum usage until my server is no longer capable of loading pages. This only happens while i make changes in wordpress admin panel while i have this theme installed and activated, with no other plugins(fresh install). This is not a php memory allocation limit problem. I’m just wondering if being in the admin panel and making changes to a website takes up drastically more memory. I have other websites hosted on the same server and i don’t experience this problem with them. Thank you.

The only thing somewhat memory intensive that the theme loads in the admin side is Visual Composer – If you disable that from the Salient options panel does the problem resolve?

But, now I’m getting a “nectarLove is not defined (init.js – line 5835)” error and the nectar slider script no longer works.

Apparently, when one dequeues the original nectarFrontend script, the wp_localize_script( ‘nectarFrontend’, ‘nectarLove’...) line in nectar-love.php is no longer in action, and therefore the javascript nectarLove variable is no longer defined.
Any solution for this?

A little research made me see it’s got something to do with a missing CSS referral to Fontawesome but I don’t know how to fix this …
I disabled my ‘external’ Visual Composer plugin and activated the Salient build in version of VC and now the social icons work again !!!
Please inform people that this is a problem when deactivating the VC plugin from within Salient …
