You can add social media icons anywhere you want with visual composer, open the home page, edit, then click Backend Editor if it’s not turned on, click on the big + to add element, and you’ll see a Social Media Profiles element there, insert it anywhere in the page you like.

hi guys, i think these questions may be of help for everybody
1. is it possible to add social media icons to the home page ? i mean, we’re using a popular home page style: a full screen slide ( no parallax ) ( using revolution slider ) and cannot add any social media button to our home [ i know you can add a top bar over the header, but that’s not really the most eastethically good loking solution )
2. the side bar menu is available even if you’re not in pc mode, but we would like to get rid of that feature, as all the links are already in the header and want to avoid confusion
3. on shop page, i can’t get rid of the huge “shop” title displaying in the middle of the page, above all products. Is there a way to obscure it ? can’t find it !
4. i’ve read already smb asked about it, it would be great to get rid of the “add to cart” pop up on product icons on shop page
i’d like also to suggest this theme to everyone on themeforest, its absolutely the best, and together with the developers/customers discussion it is getting better and better day per day
it will probably be the most downloaded / best rated on themeforest going down this route
Guys sorry for number 2, i relized now its theme options > header elements
for number 3: i know that on the left top of admin page there is a tick box, but even if the ‘show title’ is unticked in my shop page , the shop title still appears
last thing ( number 5 ) how to get rid of the “sort by” on the right on shop page ?

It’s not names “Home V6”, probably that why you’re having troubles finding it. It is name “eCommerce”, just look for that under the Pages section.

Both themes have similar functionality. The header options in Shopkeeper are advanced, so I guess you can do anything you see in Mr. Tailor. I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to achieve. Can you please be more descriptive please or maybe provide a screenshot?

I am having difficulties with the register / login page.
The register button in the bottom right corner of the login page is not exactly prominent enough, and I’ve tried making a button with the register URL /#register. but it always redirects me to the login page.
Is there a way i can direct people to register page or make the register button more prominent on login page?

I do have a slight issue though – love the canvas menu on the right-hand side. How did you put a link to it in the main navigation menu in your demo? (You put an icon with “FEATURES” written there and it opens the canvas menu).

Yes you can do that, you’re not limited to the pre-built layouts you’re seeing in the demo, you can build fully custom pages by combining different column combinations with the elements available.

First of all thanks for a great and beautiful theme. I really like your theme however it has one major flaw from a UX standpoint that we have recived a lot of feedback on during our UAT testing. If you have had a feedback section I would naturally have posted my feedback there. Or in the support forum, but i have not gotten any response from you there in 2 weeks.
The major problem with this theme is the hover product functionality in the product listing. As the current functionality is really confusing for the customer. When you however over the product the price tag disappears (really annoying as many customer hovers over the product when they go through products). The second problem is the face that the prictag disappears and is replaced by the text “add to cart” as if the product would be added to cart if the customer click on the product picture. All this is in my mind a very strage and confusing behavior a customer that be have received multiple feedback on during our own UAT testing. I have not seen any other theme that displays product in this fashion and its clearly a reason for it. Like i said i like your theme from a design perspective but i think that this theme neglect some serious UX aspects that are more important in a shopping situation than the design. As it is now we will have to pay for custom development to get this fix and i think everybody who is considering to buy this theme should be aware of this shortcomings in terms of UX and understand the custom development will be need to provide a good UX experience. Having said that i think the design and UX of the checkout and cart page is wonderful.

Regarding the product hover functionality this is feedback that we received from both users and two very experienced product owners that works for + 100 milj Euro UK and Swedish companies…. I used to work as a Digital Strategy Consultant and have my connections with really experienced people

Hey mioza,
A site can get to be slow for many reasons, from server and domain setup, to bad plugins or themes, image sizes, etc. The actual theme shouldn’t be slowing down your site. It’s built having good performance in mind and we’ve got great results when on the test we’re performing.
The best advice I can give you is to take a speed test with http://www.webpagetest.org/ that will give you more details into what’s slowing down your site. Try to deactivate any necessary plugin and make another test with all the 3rd party plugins disabled, this should help you find a culprit for your case.

Yes, you can find all the header settings in Theme Options > Header. It really intuitive so I am positive you’ll find your way there.

I know there are plugins out there that would help you turn WooCommerce into a subscription based model but regretfully I am not familiar with any plugin that would do that. You’ll have to make some research on your own in this matter. Finding the right plugin should rule out any tweak related to the status of an order.

I’m really enjoying getting to know the ins and outs of this theme.
As I’m doing that, is there a way to edit the copy that appears when a user clicks on the search icon? As it is, it automatically pops up with SEARCH FOR PRODUCTS. I’m using the theme for more of a portfolio site, which may later incorporate products for sale, but not now.
Is there a way to edit that text to something that’s more applicable to a portfolio/art related site?

If you’re not using the eCommerce functionality and you turn off WooCommerce, the search will be replaced by the general WordPress search, so the input will only say “Search”.
