Nice work. I’ve seen your theme and must say efficiently designed for all purpose.
Question 1) I’ve not seen any of the post in which featured image is animated GIF.
If we use masonary layout for blog/magazine purpose then there is a possibility that we need to have GIFs as Featured Image.
Question 2) If we want to have masonary layout like http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/topics/topic_happiness.html then there is no default option, if I am not wrong.
If you do so it will be helpful to your customers.

1. You can always use plugin that extends WordPress functionality – https://wordpress.org/plugins/gif-animation-preview/
2. Currently, we do not support masonry layout in our theme. There where some requests and we have added it to our update list, but we don’t know exact date when we will start working on this. If you need masonry layout you can check our other themes on ThemeForest.

Hi There – is there a way to add some code or a widget on the Home page (say to add the facebook box) between two modules of content? I would like to insert even a google ad between two modules. Couldn’t find a way to do that. If that functionality is added to the theme it would be a BIG win!

I bought this theme and have this question right now: How can I display features posts in a footer sidebar? I can’t find a widget doing that for me. Only most commented posts or category posts in general. I need to define specific posts to be displayed in the footer sidebar.
Any help would be great!

1. You can’t do this because this is custom query and it won’t work on single posts.
2. Reading time is simple php function which calculates reading time based on number of words in article.
3. Can you give us some more input on this?

Installation of the theme worked. But when trying to preview it within Wordpress all I get is
“Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Your administrator may not have enabled CGI access for this directory.”
Since all my other themes work fine I am a bit clueless. Any hints on this?

Hello. I am here for a friend and i am helping him a bit with the theme. But we noticed that there was a widget in post creator missing. I do not remember the name of the right side widget in “edit post” So i can try to explain it to you with a picture.

There is something missing here, and that is the widget where i can manage how my post should work with layers. I remember that i had to choose “Author” to be able to do this changes on the wordpress post, but cant see that 2.

I have checked the website and seems that the plugin you are using for combining css is not working properly and it breaks the rules for responsive mode.

Feature request: Please add a way to change the background color of ‘back to top’ button in the theme option panel. I know how to change it in css, but it would be nicer to set it in the theme panel….

Hi, I have this problem – I’ve set categories on my blog with some posts. On category page I see featrured posts but below: “It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.” I hve there 7 posts. What is wrong?

That;s because posts in featured area are excluded from main listing below. You have two options. To disable featured area for that specific category until you have more posts, or, to disable “do not duplicate” option in Theme Options -> Category Templates.

Hello, I really love the theme and am looking to buy in the near future. I have a few questions regarding the theme.
1. On blog posts, can I get rid of the author picture on the main photo? seen here: http://demo.mekshq.com/?theme=voice
2. On the home page, can you lighten the pictures on the slider? I noticed they are quite dark.

1. Yes, there is a simple option to disable it in Theme Options if you don’t want it.
2. We have dark overlay because text over image is more readable that way. But, it is not a problem. Once you purchase the theme you can contact us and we will send you small piece of code which will remove dark overlay.

1 Is there a way to translate the “no result found” page? (as here for example: http://www.housemag.it/?s=esperimento I would like to translate it in Italian)
2 Is it possible to include on results Authors too? Actually if I search an author I can’t find it on results.

1. As I can see it is already translated. Please note that there are two different versions of message when you are logged in and we you are not
2. This is more plugin feature so I can only suggest you to try some plugin which will allow you to have some advanced options for search query as WordPress doesn’t cover it by default and we don;t have any control over it with our theme

You can add your header ad in Theme Options -> Header styling. There is an option for it when you select proper header type (2).
Not sure how someone told you that it will be ready by the end of past week. we are working on it and it will be ready for the next major update. I can;t promise what time exactly but we will try to make it happen until the end of February.

Hey guys, my current shopping cart subscription expires in 13 hours (end of February). I’ve been told for a month now that this update was coming, and was told on 1/30/15 it would be ready in the “next week and a half.”
Can I please get this update or the beta files for it?
I didn’t get any emails or updates and “first thing in the morning” is now also known as “yesterday”.
I have now been put off for an entire month on this update, multiple promises have not been held, and my current site’s shopping cart has now expired and I no longer have the ability to sell products.

Great theme. I seem to be having a problem with the gallery post. I do everything correctly. I click on add media, I select create gallery, I choose my images, I select create a new gallery, then I select thumbnails as my option and the gallery gets inserted onto my post. I save and view and the thumbnails are showing up all in various sizes.
I know that my images are not all horizontal as some are also vertical, but one would think that the images would all be sized to show up to be the same size as a thumbnail. Instead, I have one horizontal, one vertical, etc… which makes the whole look and feel ugly.
Is there a way to make them all look the same, or do I have to photoshop and size each image separately?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Categories widget is default WordPress widget and that is why it is left untouched. You can always use child theme and add some custom code to it..something like this maybe?
