Few pre-purchase questions (please note I am not a web designer and would like to easy create this site myself 
-is the theme ad compatible?
-does it work with mail chimp?
-can a subscription option be easily added to the site?
-in the footer, is it possible to have a mini grid of photos from the portfolio or blog?
- are there different footer options?

1. You can place ads wherever you need but be aware there are not designated ad areas above the top header or anything or the sort. Also there should be no issue with mail chimp
2. There’s a widget for placing recent portfolio items – the blog one will has text as well though

I want to move the secondary menu thing not to a separate line (as it is right now), but to appear on the same level (and size) as the main menu. Meaning that I will have secondary menu and social buttons just next to the main menu. Especially with a centered menu layout it sounds like a super cool feature! Is that possible to do?
And also two more things: 1) on your demo page, where it talks about headings – there is a plugin for choosing a language, what is it? I’m using a Transposh – is it possible to add it’s menu right next to the main menu, on the same level as well? 2) Is it possible for add lightbox items (mostly videos) with a single image/text on normal posts and pages, so that it would come up with a lightbox, as it’s when it’s on a nectar slide?

1. This would require some custom development as of now unfortunately
2. The one shown is called WPML and it offers that language selector as an option within the plugin settings
3. This could be achieved through html – if you switch into the text tab on your editor something like this should work:

I just purchased the theme, and uploaded into my themes directory via WP “upload theme”. When I try to do a live preview, or even activate it, I get this error:

Looks like it just needed a few minutes to publish. So I was able to activate the theme. Looks fine, but when I click on the “customize” button on the theme, I get the same error. Thoughts?

I also now get errors from WooCommerce, saying that the bundled files are outdated. Any news on when to expect Woo and Visual to be updated?

The latest release should remove the WooCommerce errors and the next update which will include the new VC will be out in less than a week

A bit desperate: I have upgraded to the latest Salient (5.0.1) and am using a child theme (currently has no customizations at all). The billing state and shipping state dropdowns appear on the checkout page but do not dropdown which means that the site is down since we cannot complete any transactions.
Note: I have also started a ticket (and am following other similar tickets) over on the ticksys system but I’m just really desperate for a solution.
Also, I have checked in both Safari and Firefox. Same behavior on both

Can I ask what is the purpose of the Project Categories and Project Attributes slug? I’ve set different slugs for different project categories, but they do not seem to append to the url of my portfolio pages, regardless of what project categories they are in. Currently all my portfolio pages are stuck with this url “my-domain-name/portfolio/portfolio-post-name.” How do I enable the Project Categories and Attributes slug to display on my individual portfolio posts’ url? Note that currently, in my Permalink Settings, I am using the ‘Post name’ as my structure.

Where are you settings these slugs from? In the options panel > portfolio tab there should only be an input to modify the portfolio post type slug in general for single posts

Hi, I was referring to the slugs that could be keyed in at ‘Portfolio > Project Categories’ or ‘Portfolio > Project Attributes’ whenever we want to add new Project Categories or Attributes

The greyscale map under the Contact option doesn’t work correctly.
If I select “Greyscale colour” the default will work but any change will give me full saturation of color. For example, this color #f2f2f2 will paint the map red, including the water.
I searched for answers under comments and found a reply to a similar problem with your response to use this code. However, this doesn’t change anything either.

I’m looking to export my blog to make the switch to Blogger. Been using the Visual Composer for quite some time (which is great btw), but it results in issues when importing the xml (added ‘vc’ formatting or jumbled coding mid-post).
Is there a way to export all posts, removing all VC formatting in the posts xml?

I love the theme and only have one hurdle to overcome. The hurdle is with gallery plugins…
My Goal: to be able to upload my images into a masonry or grid for visitors to see after they click one of my portfolio images.
Issue: I can add the code for the plugin gallery I created and see it just fine but when you click the image, it opens up the image only opposed to opening the lightbox.
I saw you provide some help to someone a while back but I didn’t completely understand what the resolution was. I’ve spoken to the developer of the plugin and he checked and stated that the issue seems to be something in the Javascript that seems to be “stealing” clicks from the UberGrid plugin I’m using. Hi! I have another problem with portfolio styling. Seems that “description overlaid and zoom on hover” don’t work. But it worked earlier. When I point mouse over element – there’s no zoom effect at all. I disabled all plugins, but nothing changed. Any ideas?

the footer contains “Global Offices” and “Functional Specialities” and we found there is an ID that is changed on fresh, is that normal and if so what purpose does it have?
Thanks for the URL – as of now js is used to handle width sections but that will be changed in upcoming updates. For now you’d need to just add the class “full-width-content” to your row to activate the JS logic if using raw html or code directly
Hey I did some digging around the comment section prior, checking to see if there were people inquiring about the same thing. I was just wondering if there is a way to make the logo disappear on scroll? Currently I have the header set to shrink a lot on scroll and the logo becomes too small so I thought it would look better altogether to have it gone when scrolling. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I had a feeling my message might have been slightly confusing. The css you’ve attached deletes the logo completely, I was wondering if there was any way of targeting it so that the logo appears when you’re at the very top of the page but disappears on scroll.

We found a bug while implementing the wp audio shortcode inside accordian containers. It was a relatively easy fix:

Something that should be rolled into the trunk, perhaps?
