I have my home page set up as a gallery, when the images are clicked it is to take the user to another page. This works if you click the image with middle mouse button, but if you left click it tries to bring up a lightbox.

Hi Pirenko, I’m loving this theme, but I’m having an issue. I can’t get a page up with a gallery on it. When I post it and view it, it’s just the title of the page and invisible images below it. You can’t see them, but if you hover your mouse over them you can click and enlarge them.

I can also get the images to appear, but only if I have an existing portfolio page, in which case the portfolio name appears randomly at the bottom left side of the page.

Submenu hover – js change?
Hi – I prefer to open submenu on hover. Meanwhile – when a menu item is clicked and submenu items showing – a move of the cursor (or maybe in a few seconds, I cannot tell) will results in the submenu collapsing again. There isn’t enough time to select.

I don’t like too much that behavior and that is why the theme does not have it. You can try and edit the main.js file to implement that change, but it requires advanced jQuery knowledge.

The “problem” you have here is that your parent menu button should not open any page. If you need help changing this please check this video tutorial: http://www.pirenko.com/blog/2014/07/24/mastering-wordpress-menus/
As an alternative go to Samba Options>General tab and turn ON the Ajax load feature (this may bring trouble with some plugins if you are using them).

it was very useful to us.please keep the theme extensions and addons stable. it ruins our flow and design if you remove extensions, addons, modules with updates.

I assume that with Latest Posts Show blog entries you mean the “Latest Posts” page element. It is still available and I have just tested it. Please STOP making wrong observations about the theme and myself here.
As for the video you are right: there’s a bug and it will be fixed on the next update. In the meantime add this under Samba Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS:.wpb_video_widget .wpb_wrapper .wpb_video_wrapper {

I have about 100 separate folders with about 1000 pictures in each one of them. Can I setup separate albums? So when I click on the thumbnail it will open that album? - Are portfolios same as the albums?

Hi, you can have unlimited/separated portfolios. You can also use portfolios for this. Still, I think that it is better that you set up a “regular page” with a gallery for this purpose. This gallery can also open a lightbox. Cheers!

When I add a static base in my permalink structure (i.e. change it from /%postname%/ to /blog/%postname%/), that base gets applied to all the CPTs (slides, portfolio and team members) of your theme as well.
Since the reason most people add this base is to keep the entire blog part of their site (i.e. posts, post categories and post tags) separate from the other content (i.e. pages and any CPTs added by themes or plug-ins), having this base apply to any CPTs completely unrelated to the blog defeats the purpose.
I did a bit of research and found out that this is because where you define these CPTs in your theme, their with_front value is set to true (or perhaps you don’t set it and it takes the true value as default?)
Can you please fix this? In order to make sure the permalink structure of existing sites using your theme doesn’t break, you can perhaps offer this option as a toggle for each CPT in Samba Options under Advanced, where the slugs for these CPTs can be customized?

Thank you for purchasing! Under Samba Options>Advanced tab you can change the slugs. As for the file where the CPT’s are declared it is located under wp-content/plugins/samba_framework/custom_post_types.php

Thanks for your quick response, and for making this beautiful theme. I know where the slugs can be changed…I was talking about adding toggles there to make them as base slugs so that /blog or any other custom prefix for blog permalinks doesn’t apply to them, so that users don’t have to change the code to achieve this.

Sorry for that I did not make it clear last time. The thing is that I want to configure the texts and action buttons on my homepage sliders to make them looks like the demo site (http://www.pirenko.com/previews/?theme=samba). The problem is that, in the demo site, these are four sliders and 3 of them have one action button but with DIFFERENT colors! (blue red green)..
I want to place action buttons with different colors on different sliders, so I tried to use visual composer to modify the slider but it does not work well. (as.perksummit.com)
I guess it is impropriate to use visual composer to deal with sliders, but I do not know for sure.
How can I make my homepage actions buttons looks like the demo site? short codes?

Ok, I understand now. If you want to mimic the theme preview, slides content should be only plain text and the theme will style it accordingly. About the colors: please explore the options panel located under each slide content. Cheers!

i have very long page contents, whenever i start editing my page, i always need to scroll up for example make a text h1 than i need to scroll down and find the part i remain again. is there any way to make the edit text section full screen because it pops out like a little box and its thought to work in it.
