I purchased this smartMag template but we can not create the exact same layout on the homepage that you guys advertised in the item sample sale. For example at top there is a large photo and next to it there are three photos which seem like Reviews – we can not create the same layout. How can we create the POPULAR – RECENT – TOP REVIEWS section. Default Hompage option can not be created. There should be a way for that but we can not arrange like the way it shows in the advertised page… We would like to get your support in the regarding issue… Can you please send a detailed explanation regarding these features of this ITEM?

The first area you are looking for is usually known as featured area or the slider. You can read here about the slider (note that you need to create your home-page first).
The popular/recent/top reviews is a normal WordPress widget. The widget you are looking for is the “Bunyad – Recent Tabs” widget. Refer here for further info.
The easiest way to get setup is to actually import sample content. This will help you get started with demo data and work from there.

Not entirely sure what you mean by “add news rss feeds” but like any WordPress theme, you have to add your own posts. Since, default dummy content wouldn’t serve any purpose on a real website.
However, you can import the sample content to have your installation have the same content as our live preview/demo. That can be a good starting point. From there on, you can add your own posts and modify settings to suit your needs.

As I said im totally new to this, so the template full of dummy content, that can be changed, so I can add my own news feeds, and bring in live video feeds from say youtube, also is there any support for help in adding information

With premium themes, you get the basic functionality of WordPress themes + extras mentioned on item page in details or shown in the live preview/demo. If you have already used a WordPress’s default theme or any other free theme, you will have a good idea about how WordPress publishing works. If not, it would be a good idea to do so. Then you can explore the live preview to and see our list of features on the item page. It will also be a good idea to familiarize yourself with WordPress plugins as they’re used to add extra missing functionality.

How do I go about disabling a certain category in the featured slider and the blocks.
Because I’m using a category for Events and I do not wish to have these display on the home page at all as I have a page dedicated for this.

While you can’t “exclude” (blacklist) a category, you can select the category you wish to use in blocks (for each block). As for the slider, you can use the “Featured Slider Post?” tickbox to manually feature your posts (please select first option while setting the slider).

i upgraded the theme so i can disable prettyphoto lightbox but here is what i get

Pre-purchase questions: Thinking of using this theme for large news site publishes videos and articles daily. I am wondering how do you manage videos embed from Youtube or vimeo? For example, when the video content is posted how the latest video thumbs gets published on the home that links to the main post content? - Does the theme support Paidmembershippro and woocommerce plugins for managing membership? if the theme doesn’t have ways to create video thumbmails for posts, what solution will work with your theme? 1. You can either use the normal manual featured images for featured videos or you can use and configure “Video Thumbnails” plugin (guide at support forums) to auto-fetch thumbnail from video sites.
2. We haven’t tested Paid Membership Pro but it’s fully compatible with WooCommerce. Some of our buyers have used s2member.

I’m surprised to find no option for a full width “page” with this theme. Is there a way to make this happen? I’ve yet to encounter a theme on wordpress that does how allow this…very odd.
The homepage blocks option is not something i want to use for this page as our content writers need to use the default wysiwyg editor.

Full-width page option works the same way as full-width posts. When adding a post, under “Page Options”, you should see the “Layout Style” option. Select the “Full Width” option.

WooCommerce 2.3.x introduced massive changes in the layout so it’s not fully compatible with the current version. We have been adding fixes that will be released with the next version. If you can’t wait, the fixes are available here (requires forum registration to view).

Hello how do I install the sample content (Just for the format) and leave out the images. The images only install as place holders and I’d have to delete them one at a time! (There’s about 100+ images)

It seems like your site has responsiveness disabled from Theme Settings. Go to Appearance > Theme Settings and ensure “Disable Responsive Layout” is set to “No”.
