Hello,
I have a doubt: Can I to build a custom home page, like a “home blog page” different of the default examples? Or can I just to use the examples page?
I want to use this theme for a blog page with a forum resource. And maybe at the home page to do a list of all categories and the recent posts (something like that). Can I customize the theme to build my own idea of web portal?

Yes you can customiize the theme to whatever you want. You are not limited to any of the shown examples. You can setup a home page using the standard WordPress blog page in Avada style, or you can use our blog shortcode to have articles anywhere. For the blog posts alone you can choose between 5 main setups plus dozens of finetuning options. Regarding the general page optics you are fully free to let your creativity flow

Hi guys! Beatifull theme is the Avada! I have a question. I´ve seen the Avada demo A gency site from a mobile, and I discovered that some title are separated. e.g. SEP- ARATED

What type of mobile device are you viewing that on? It should not do that on larger ones where the side header has not broke to responsive mode yet. That happens so the words are not cut off, if it didnt then the word would overflow out of its container. Also if we sent the entire word below, then there would be large gaps of empty space. The only good solution there is to use word breaks.
However in our upcoming update, you will be able to have responsive heading type so it resizes accordingly.

I´ve seen in iOs iPhone 4S and Android Samsung that it´s bigger that the iPhone viewport. In both happen that. It´s seems to be extrage because it does not happen in the other theme version. Thanks

Yes on small devices this could happen. However, as pointed out, in Avada 3.8, coming in a few weeks, you will be able to use responsive type on headings, thus this will be solved for you.

Hi, my language file doesn’t work. Ik uploaded the nl_NL.po and nl_NL.mo file to the languages. wp-confige file define (‘WPLANG’, ‘nl_NL’);

The logo size is what you uplaod, the dimensiaons you see in theme options are only for the rtina logo to display correctly on mobile devices. So upload a larger logo and it will be larger, it reads the width/height of the actual file.

Hi this is a pre-sale question. i would need to be able to have the currency switcher / language switcher as per the type which can be seen at the top left hand corner of the Adrenalin theme. When you use WPML plugin, it allows you to place the switcher in any of the available menus. So you can do that with Avada, just place it in the top menu when using headers 2-5.

Hi I have a pre-purchase question: I intend to use the blog as three different things: press page and news page and video page. So my question is can i put fx. two categorys (filterable) on one page with one kind of lay out, and another category on another page with its own layout, so I seperate the page content by the blog categories added to that page?
I also heard about a 3.8, is that coming any time soon?

Yes with our blog shortcode, and recent post shortcode (both pull blog posts) you can specify that only certain categories show and also choose any of the layouts with each instance you use.
3.8 is being worked on now, it is not done yet and about to enter beta phase, I’d say 3 more weeks. We are always working on the next update to add more for our customers, any anyone who buys the theme gets the update for free when it is ready.

There is not a google font css file actually. The ansewr here will depend on what exactly you are trying to do, I’m not entirely clear on that.
It seems like you want to register a custom font, which can be uploaded to theme options > typography tab. Or you can do that in custom css area or even style.css but for that, you should use child theme.

Yes you can assign a unique menu per page. However not a unique footer, there is only one global option for footer per page. You can however choose to show or hide the footer and copyright bar per page.

Hi, I have menu contact us as menu item and the contact us form is located in footer. if have added smooth scrolling anchor link to contact us in the footer and its working fine. but the issue is an all other pages such as blog or pages without one page menu structure, the footer menu item keeps itself highlighted once user scroll to the bottom and then the links remain highlighted regardless user is on the top of page.

Hi I purchased this theme last year and just found out about the Fusion Builder. When I went to my home page in the dashboard I don’t see the Fusion Builder button, only the “Add Media” button. How do I activate the Fusion Builder Button? The “fusion Core” plugin is installed and activated.

You will have to update to latest version of the theme to get the builder activation button. You can download latest version from your themeforest downloads page.
In order to do that, you will need a valid purchase code. Right now your current account does not have the buyers badge. Please make sure you own a valid license of Avada.

We rely on wordpress built-in system to rely cropping the images. To edit the position of the crop, you can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-crop-position/ and then use the plugin called Regenerate Thumbnails to regenerate the images with the new crop position.

Hi.I have a trouble.About Post slider attachment in a Post.
I create a Post.then went to Fusion Page Builder > Builder Elements > Post Slider and I choose Layout = Attachment Layout Only Images Attached to Post/Page , Light Box On Click = Yes , Attach Images to Gallery = Upload files (select 5 images from PC and insert to post) and Save
When I preview.I click image.It’s open box and show Display Image but show only one images and images slide did’t play,don’t have play button slide and thumbnail under Display Image.
I created Post slider attachment in a Page.It’s have a Image Slide,Play Slide Button,thumbnail under Display image.but when I created Post slider attachment in a Post.It’s don’t have like in a Page.
Post slider attachment just only work create in a Page ,or both (Page/Post)
Please help me .I want to use Post slider attachment in a Post (have images slide play,have play button slide and thumbnail under Display Image.)

You can insert the builder element anywhere inside the post content area, then select the layout you want, and specify any other settings you wish, like for example categories. You can specify a certain category to show in the post slider.
The post slider however cannot be used in the featured image spot, that is reserved for the featured images you upload to each post. But it can be used anywhere else in the post content area.

Hello,
I bought your theme and I love it from the first moment. The possibilities with this theme are endless! But I have a small issue with the font I want to set for my website. I have set the font to a Google font called: Lato. Below, I can specify some ‘Google font settings’. Here I typed ‘700’ for a bolded font for my header-menu, but now all the texts on my website are in bold,. When I set the Google font setting to ‘400,700’, for example, all my text will be the ‘400’ type (not bold in the header).
My question is: How do I specify that ‘700’ is for the header-menu font and ‘400’ is the type of the font for the rest of my website?

Sorry for the troubles.
Unfortunately, right now, font weight cannot be described per area. However, 3.8 which is our next update is due for release within two weeks and in that version you will be able to specify font weight per area.
