This is a buddypress issue, go to Tools>BuddyPress and repair your counts.

If you want users to show in your site after they activate their account or you activated it using a plugin you have to add this piece of code to your sweetdate-child/functions.php and an user no longer needs to login in order for him to appear in the site.

I am thinking about purchasing your Sweet Date Theme. I am exhausted and i have been through many themes… so i hope it stops here. I do have a question or two though. So you have it integrated so users only have to login once? I see all these login options and im curious if users have to login constantly. one time with paid members pro…then with buddy press and etc. i want to know if a user login…does it remain in the frontend? I dont want users go to backend of my site. Please explain the whole login experience please. I just want users to create a profie for free and upgrade without having to change it. Just one login really. Oh and i can alter all that date stuff out right? I dont want to use this as a date site. Thanks you i cant wait to hear from you…im going to sleep now. 
There’s only one login in any wordpress platform, there might be different spots from where you can login but once you do it, you have access to the entire frontend platform. If you need to block acces to your backend dashboard there are plenty of plugins out there which does this.
Before buying a theme, you should make a wordpress and buddypress test install and see what are the options offered by default.

Can i turn off all the dating aspects of the site like the predefined profile fields and the matching system? Can i change that around? I mean i love your theme and seems ready out of the box. I already have a site up and want to change it because I ran into issues with the theme i was using… wasnt compatible with buddypress and membership plugins.
Sure, mostly are just elements which you can use only if you need / want them.

I have installed the theme two times now but the theme is so easy to hack so I have had hack/spam attack 2 times now!!! I have installed Capcha but its not being displayed in the theme. What can I do to increase security from Bot attacks??
And just as a notice, this is not a problem from our theme, it’s about how wordpress and buddypress registration pages work.

Hi, your request seems to be pretty unique, won’t find this as a out of the box option. You should search for a buddypress related plugin with such feature or you should search for a developer and build it by your own.

I am using Sweetdate theme and here is my sit url: “omgmatch.com” When i open it on mobile device it can not work it shows only shortcodes in mobile version.
That’s because you’re using some sort of plugin that serves it’s own theme for the mobile version and not the sweetdate theme. Please deactivate it and check again.

I deactivate all plugins.but again it does not work on mobile. On mobile it show only shortcode One more thing i install only those plugins which are available in Sweetdate Theme.
What’s displayed on your mobile site is absolutely not coming from our theme and is not made by us. Please double check, and if you don’t manage to figure it out, please do a clean reinstall.

Please try to rebuild the “Members Online” shortcode using the dropdown which is attached to your content editor, and inside the settings popup, if you have customized the “I am a” field, then please set the field name and value.

Hi, I just read there is no option to restrict messaging to a subscription level. Is that correct? How can I limit people in that regard to not share their contact details? If people can message each other their details people wont upgrade am I right?
Also would like to know in what extend I could customize the look and feel of the site. I would like to change all the fonts, also menu and widget fonts is this possible?
I would like to make the theme very simple with two subscription levels and the ability for users to create new groups and find dates on search terms.

You probably read another request, people sometimes wants this integration in a specific way.
You CAN limit the membership levels which has access to private messaging.
You can customize all the fonts and colors , backgrounds and a lot more, directly from our theme options panel.
I think there’s no problem in achieving what you want.

For start it doesn’t really matter with what hosting you start, but once you increase the number of members and your traffic we recommend to update to a VPS environment, or a scalable cloud hosting solution.
There are several SEO plugins out there, most of them work fine and doesn’t interfere with the functionality of our theme.

Hi Guys sorry one more thing I was thinking about. When I am starting with no members I want to offer lifetime full acces for the first 500 subscribers. Is it possible to add the second membership level after you have your first 500 subscribers and still give the first 500 lifetime acces? It is just an idea. I have a pre-sales question which would like to know if this is possible with your theme.
1) Upon sign up, can the user go through a questionnaire first then sign up? The results of this questionnaire would then determine what Forums, Groups etc they have access to?
2) Is it possible to Group users by their interest. EG, Person 1 Loves Photography and get’s matched up with other people who like Photography.
3) If the above is not possible, can the user select from a Drop down or buttons the group they want to select to be in?
4) Is there a matching system for the dating site to work? How do users get matched up?
5) Are users able to create their own stores within their own listing/profiles?

1. No there’s no such option in BuddyPress, and your request is pretty unique so I don’t know if you’ll find any available plugins to help you.
2. Users will have to join the groups by themselves, after they register.
3. Same answer as point 2
4. Members can do searches by fields you specify.
5. You should search for a “vendor” plugin for WooCommerce which will do exactly what you want, but be carefully to be integrated also with BuddyPress.
Most of your requests are advanced options to achieve in wordpress, and for some you should probably hire a developer and create them.
At points 2 and 3, there were some plugins available which done what you wanted, but unfortunately they are very old and not up to date.

You will have to firstly create the user profile fields, and then you can add those fields in the search form. All of this are options in the backend of wordpress.

A few questions:
1. Can this theme be used beyond dating sites? For for example can we specify custom profile fields for users and have them be used a search fields?
2. Is it possible to have linked fields? For example, if a user selects the country they live in their state/city will be selectable in the next field?
3. Is it possible to change the name of the them in the source from the default “sweetdate” (wp-content/themes/sweetdate) to something else and will it impact the site and how?
4. Is there any geolocation feature to show “users near me”?

1. Yes you can use it as a dating social network, you can define extra profile field and also search by them.
2. Unfortunately, BuddyPress, the plugin which takes care of the social network aspect doesn’t support this by default. You should search for a realted buddypress plugin probably with this kind of features.
3. Yes, you can change the directory name, without any impact, but we don’t recommend doing so.
4. Answer from point 2 applies in this case as well.

Hello, I wanted to thank you for continuing to support this awesome product. I came searching for insight to using the newsletter signup this morning because I also love the theme css for this widget but do not want to use a 3rd party mailing service (mailchimp) with any additional monthly charges
Instead I use the My Mail plugin on codecanyon which is rather popular and because it runs on Wordpress alone. I may try and see if I cannot hack the form for my own use with My Mail.

Yes, the best approach would be to copy the newsletter sign up form, from our widget and create your own widget which will integrate with the “My Mail” plugin.
