It seems that you have a plugin which conflicts with the popup script from our theme. You should disable your plugins one by one until you find the one which produces the issue.

I actually renamed magnific popup under Kleo’s resource directories to solve that problem but it seems that wasn’t the correct fix… This is one thing which bothers me about Wordpress, the conflict of plugins…
Renaming it won’t fix your issue for sure. It really seems to be a plugin conflict, from what I’ve saw you’re using a lot of them.
Hope you manage to find the one which creates the issue.
Yes, I hope so too. Renaming it fixed the login form issue but I have double lightboxes when I try to show a picture from the flickr gallery.
Is there a way to disable Magnific for Kleo? It is intercepting all the gallery popup requests… And I end up displayin 2 lightboxes at the same time…
No there’s no out of the box option to do so, and if you somehow manage to do so, there are a lot of places where it’s used and you’ll lose those galleries/popups.
You should find a plugin which helps you do whatever you need without interfering with magnific popup script.

It does have an option to not to use a lightbox other than the system one which is your magnific version, but why can’t I use another lightbox with Kleo other than the builtin magnific lightbox? That’s where the problem is, both of you guys must be tying in to the same hooks or whatever, his has an option to disable but Kleo does not, am I correct, if not please help me.
From what i see that plugin gives you the option to select from multiple lightbox libraries. Please try to switch between them until you find one that doesn’t interfere with our one. His is just a plugin, ours covers more aspects from the entire theme. This kind of conflicts are a known issue between wordpress themes and plugins, you just have to find a point where they doesn’t come in conflict.

Yes, but the thing is when I disable that plugin, Kleo’s version of the Magnific lightbox has a line of xxxxxxxxxxxxx on top the pictures and the contrast is a bit off, is this just me or that xxxxxxxxxxx natural with Kleo?

My first page broke totally down, so i made a reinstall of wordpress,buddypress and the theme. But after buddypress can’t acces the database. When i click on any profile, member or such page, it commes up with an error. The database is set up right and i can find the members in the database. Can you help me??

Hello, A few questions before I buy: I’d like to use gravity forms with their user registration add-on to add custom fields to the BP member profiles and display the fields on the profile – Any issues with this?
I also need to be able to allow BP members to create events and public viewers to access them as well as members of any level to RSVP to them, something like the WPMU DEV, Events+ plugin, any idea on how best to achieve this?
What kind of media player is used for BP members when they load audio and video? Are playlists possible?
Last, I need to use Amazon S3 & Cloudfront + the Amazon Web Services plugin’s by Brad Touesnard for CDN and BP members media storage, any issues with this?

There shouldn’t be any problems with additional plugins. At maximum some of them will probably need a few layout/design improvements to match our theme.
GravityForms should work ok without any problems. Unfortuantely I can’t recommend you anything for the events side. It’s really up to you and to your needs.
The audio player from our theme is powered by Media Elements, and it doesn’t support out of the box playlists.
About storage, once again, you’ll extend wp functionality and it shouldn’t interfere in any way with our theme.

1. Is it possible to send messages to two or more friends as once e.g. a group message? 2. Is it possible to tag the friends in status updates and thus make the notification show up on friends profile e.g “going out with Maria and Patricia this weekend” where notification will show on Maria and Patricias profiles – like tagging on Facebook? 3. Is it possible to report a user or ban them – like on Facebook – if they are insulting? 4. Is there a way to add the frontpage search feature from your theme Sweet date into KLEO? 5. In regards to memberships is it possible for admins to grant users x months of free subscriptions? 6. If we need vusotm work done can we hire you in or can you recommend someone who know your theme?

Firstly thanks for your kind words, secondly, most of the features requested by you are not available in buddypress by default, but i think in some cases you can find buddypress related plugins to help you achieve what you need. In other cases you might need to develop by yourself such features.
You can’t migrate the search box directly from the sweetdate theme to kleo, but there’s a good plugin out there on which you can start building the search form. Is called BuddyPress Profile Search.
About the memberships, yes you can offer trial periods, or you can simply change the price from free to paid after 6 months.

However: I see that you can actually tag another member in your status update, but is it possible to let this status update show on the other members profile other than under ‘Mentions’? Perhaps under the profile image where the recent status update is shown?
And now I see that you can actually as well send group messages 
Yes you can tag a friend in a activity post, but i don’t think the post will also appear into their profile. And yes you can send message to multiple recipients. About the user report, there should really be a plugin out there for this. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wangguard/ WangGuard is a pretty good security plugin which seems to do what you need.

Hi, loving the theme so far. I’m trying to make a social intranet for my company using this.
For the front page I would just like a simple menu with Log In and Register which I’ve managed to do. The only other thing I would like is a full screen revolution slider and nothing else. Currently there is the email and phone number bar still under the slider and also a little bit of white space. How do I remove everything apart from the menu and slider?

You can disable the breadcrumb area generally or you can find individual settings while editing each page in part, there’s a panel under the content box with a lot of layout related settings.

When we click on Login button on the header, we get a popup login with facebook connect. In the same way when we click on register, we redirect to the registration page. I want the registration form as a popup login form.
One more thing I want to ask. You are having ajax search in built in your theme. Can I get the plugin for Visual Composer separately. I will pay for it…..
There’s no registration popup available. The same case for the ajax search feature as plugin.

I have made some changes to the css style in the child theme that are not reflected in some mobile browsers. I think is a cache problem. How do I force a change of the style.css version in the child theme?

It really depends of the modifications you made, did you took into consideration the responsive aspect of the theme ? Maybe you’ll need to use some media queries to change the mobile version as well.

I will make some further test to see if it is a responsiveness issue.
On the other hand, looking at the version of the css file it looks like a timestamp (2014 04 30). But I think it uses the modification time of some file from the parent theme. Is this supposition correct?
From what i know wp adds versions to the end of files not timestamps. You probably have some sort of caching plugin activated ?

How do i configure rtMedia settings so that more than 1 image appears on the activity page (if a user uploads more than 1 image) and that the images appear alongside each other. Here is an en example of what i mean http://i.imgur.com/yBV3VdP.png

For the first issue, the thing is that there will be an inline carousel instead of displaying more images in a row.
For the second one, there’s no option to do that, you will need to make some template modifications for which you’ll need programming skills.

Hi, I don’t see where to do that in the theme options. I don’t want to change it in the main menu, only in the dropdowns (for the top and main menu). I want the dropdown hover color to be blue and the dropdown text color to be white. Can you show me where to do that? Thanks.
If you need any customizations that are not directly available in our theme panel then you will have to style them by yourself, using a few css rules. Some html/css knowledge is required.

I have HTML and CSS knowledge but cannot find the right settings. Would it be hard for you to tell me which items to change? I see you do that for other people.
I have tried several things with inconsistent results, and I am usually quite successful with CSS tweaks. I’m not asking you to customize the theme, only to point me in the right direction.
If you have css knowledge then you should just give a look at the source page of the site, or using inspect element from firebug, find the desired elements to style, and use nearby class or id to target those elements.

Pre-Sales Question – I need for my membership directory to be displayed by business category. Is this something that can be handled via groups? Or is there another way?
You can create a profile field called “Business Category”, with a pre-defined list of items from which users could choose. After that you can use a plugin like “BP Profile Search” to create an advanced search form for your users.

Pre-Sales Question. Hello, I am considering using this theme for a new Community website I am designing. My first question is – how much flexibility is there to reduce the height of the home page slideshow which in the demo is quite large? I have used Visual Composer before and found it to be very clunky and buggy. Is there an option to use another pagebuilder tool?
The slider is managed by Revolution Slider, and you can modify pretty much any aspects of it. It’s the most powerful slider tool out there.

No, there’s no alternative to that, if you are more comfortable you can disable it and use just shortcodes, but you’ll loose a lot of ease in building up layouts.
I think it’s just a matter of practice until you’ll manage to use Visual Composer better.
