Hi
Not sure why but my filter links for my work page have stopped working. Even if I go into settings and turn off it still doesn’t disappear. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with changing the menu / page to work where it was previously called portfolio? can you pls help?

Since this I posted the msg I tried using the vertical filter instead which I’m not that keen on but it does work at least. For some reason the horizontal just won’t work, it appears but when you click on any of the categories noting happens. Don’t know why…
Another small thing pls…Can I ask for some code that will reduce the space between the bottom of my logo and the nav bar menu… you already gave me this – #header-outer, #header-space { height: 225px!important; }

I am developing a site for a client, transfering from html to wordpress. I want to avoid having the wordpress site show up in Google Analytics.
My thought is to use: <meta name=robots” content-”noindex”> where is the best place for this to be inserted?

I’ve updated the theme to the latest version but it looks like in Chrome only the header and footer are showing. Everything in-between is white. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I’ve got a question about the client slider. The images of the slider or not provided by a good ALT-tag. The alt-tag of all images are listed als ‘Client’. Is there a way to provide the “Client Name” as ALT-tag for the images?

Hey! You can add the alt tag on the client shortcode directly if you switch into the visual editor
Having an issue with product in the Shop. It defaults to adding multiples on two on everything. If I put in ‘1’ and click plus, it goes ‘3,5,7…’ If I put in ‘2’ and click plus, it goes ‘2,4,6,...’

Actually a response to another concern correct both this and the other issue. It was to change page transition method to Standard from Ajax in the Salient options. Odd that it correct this too.

Please Create This Option In The Next Version of Salient: The arrow button on the bottom of the Nectar Slider – Give us size options 1. Regular 2. Medium 3. Large 4. Extra Large
In regards to the arrow, also give us two options where the arrow fades in and out and another option where the arrow does not fade and just stays as the arrow. A lot of people would prefer this as it’s easier for site visitors to understand.
Also, in Firefox the bullets below the arrow are not accessible as they are so close to the arrow. Can you create more spacing between the arrow and the bullets.
The top right 3 line navigation for the side bar: Can you please make this around 3 or 4 times the size that it is right now as it might not always be as prominent for people to understand to click it.

Error in Firefox for Nectar Slider: The “Next/Prev Slide Preview on Hover” shakes on the sides of the browser in Firefox when hovering over the arrow on the left or right, which disrupts manual sliding. Can you please fix this in the next update which I hope will come out soon.
Also, very important regarding this feature: Instead of once hovering over the arrow in the circle left or on the right, just make it clickable, instead of a slight preview of the next slide. It can be confusing to site visitors. Just clicking an arrow to go to the next slide is just fine. I really hope you consider changing this as it will help a lot. You are going in the right direction. It just needs a clean up in this feature.

Hey guys…love the theme, just wondering if/when you are going to upgrade the Visual Composer to the latest version. There are a lot of updates to VC that make the workflow much easier.
Salient currently has version Version: 4.3.5 and WP Bakery has released version 4.4.2
I would actually prefer that we be able to separate the VC plugin from the theme, as they seem to update more frequently then you guys do.

You can indeed use the raw plugin if you want but you’ll lose some of the Salient specific elements – there’s no ETA on when the VC will be updated with the latest raw VC elements

From what I can tell so far, the only file difference is the js_composer.php file. Aside maybe for a few extra files VC added to the latest.
So in theory, if I edited the js_compose.php file to include the Salient code and the new updates from VC, then it SHOULD be good. Yes?
I caught some more file differences. I will try it out and see what I can do. The problem with using the Raw VC is that it breaks the theme. It doesn’t just remove certain features, it actually breaks the site. One main error has to do with the Nectar slider.

Oh I see! Also, I would love to have an option to have the add to cart link display under the product plus show the price above that. Having the price only on hover isn’t usable on touch devices, and I think it’s important for customers to see the cost without needing to hover. An option for this type of display would be awesome

How did you setup the row on the below “demo page / image” to allow the 3 columns to stack on their own row on resolutions under 1000px?
My setup keeps forcing the text to stack tall and stay in the same 3 column format instead of going into their own row. I’ve even imported the clean all purpose demo and it acts nothing like your live version of the page.
I only want to use “full width background” and not “full width content”, as I do not want the 3 column row to expand the full width of the page on desktops.
I’ve tried everything.

So I downloaded the demo content of that page and copied the code, but there is no way to set it up out of the box with the new VC. I tried seting the row up as 1/1+1/1+1/1, but it just creates 3 separate rows instead of three columns when i use VC.

I cloned the above code which works the way I need it, but the new VC handles it differently. In the new VC, I then changed each of the 3 columns to 1/3 and now it will not “stack”. The text just gets taller instead of stacking into its own full width row.

Thanks. That resolved it. However, now the first-child in the column has a smaller margin than the other columns. It is farther to the left instead of centered as the others.
