Hey – Salient v5.5 separated Visual Composer into a plugin and it is no longer automatically built in – this means when you activate the theme you’ll have to still install the Visual Composer plugin via the admin panel. It is included still with the theme and no purchase is necessary, just head to the plugins section of your admin panel to install & activate. Cheers!

Thanks for your help! However, for number 3, When I put the code to custom CSS, this just made ‘view details’ disappeared, not the whole thumbnail area clickable.(only the center of the thumbnail is clickable.)

And for number 2, how should I change the shortcode-processing php file? Can I get some advice?

Hey Amigaroxx, the social buttons from VC will share the current page they are used on – they’re not related to the settings you set in the options panel for the social icons (which are used for the header/footer). Could you kindly share your URL in regards?

I’m currently seeing your slider autorotate after 5 seconds – the autorotate clears if you interact with the slider manually though. Are you not seeing it change if you don’t start changing slides yourself?

I am not using the latest version. and I added alt tag under media >> Image files >> Alt tag if its really required to update the theme to latest version, please guide me to do the same.
