All your images should get cropped-down to our theme-defined image sizes which is in the case of the masonry layout 400×236. There’s no need for extra CSS. We suggest that you upload images so that their dimensions exceed this value and they could get cropped properly.

If you’re referring to the slide duration, it can be set easily in the slider shortcode directly from the admin panel. To modify the fading effect, some JavaScript would need to be altered in our theme files. There are no zoom-in slide transitions available.

The default values your Portfolio featured image gets cropped down to is 550×550. These values are theme-defined and can be adjusted within our theme files. What you have to do is go to your theme folder/functions.php and find this part of the code and adjust the image size from 550×550 to something of your preference – http://screencast.com/t/kSSTDOZHiSVj

Then install and run Regenerate Thumbnails plugin. This plugin will scale your images to your newly defined values.

1 and 2 As a general rule what you should do is the following:

Go to your WP Admin -> Settings -> Visual Composer -> Enable this page editor for portfolios: http://screencast.com/t/0uedDdpL

Head over to create a new portfolio item in WP Admin -> Portfolio Add New and enable Back-End editor on your left-hand side, scroll down the page and create content using Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/rj1IaIRx

Inside of your content area please make sure that you’ve included Portfolio List shortcode: http://screencast.com/t/3G15hZxHPM This would show all of your portfolio categories.

In regards to the filtering and adjusting the number of categories to be shown – You can specify only one category or all categories to be listed in a Portfolio List.

So, to have only specific portfolios listed, please follow these steps:

Go to your WP Admin -> Portfolio -> Categories -> And create two main categories(for example).

Then, inside the first main category add: “category 1”, “category 2” and “category 3” categories and add your single portfolio items to these categories.

Next, inside the second main category add -> “category 4” and “category 5” categories and include other single portfolio items to these categories.

Finally, in your previously creted Portfolio List shortcode set the first main category slug only and save. This way only the subcategories of the first main category will be displayed in the portfolio list. Similarly you could set another portfolio list somewhere else on your site with a different main category which would list out its child categories and so on. Going from there you could create as many parent categories as you’d like and assign various child categories to them and have them listed on any page of your site.

But.. I want to show All Images, that there are inside on portfolios, on one unique page….

And my wish is, at this page, I be able to filter the images by different filters of categories (such as “Images Categories”)

You’re welcome.

You can use Tabs shortcode for this for example and place all of one’s portfolio images manually (the ones you’ve added as a single portfolio item’s attachments) and use the Tabs to filter between each manually created image showcase.

With our theme comes the extended license for all the plugins integrated with it (Visual Composer and Layer Slider). We test and update these plugins prior to including them into a future theme update. Unfortunately you can’t run an independent/self-purchased version of Visual Composer with our theme.

When you update the theme go to your WP Admin -> Plugins and to deactivate/delete these plugins. Then you will get a notification that you are required to install the necessary plugins to run our theme. Just click to install/activate these plugins again and that is all there is to it. If somehow you don’t get these notifications to install the necessary plugins, then go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload – Find these plugins in theme folder/plugins, select one by one and click import/install.

You can ignore the messages about the required activation of these plugins you see inside Plugin settings.
