Honestly, it is a pretty specific request and I am not sure how many buyers would use such feature.

BUT, you can try this Custom CSS and I guess you will get the same result:

.postid-15 #core .col-md-3.col-md-pull-9 { display: none; }
.postid-15 #core .col-md-9.col-md-push-3 { left: auto; width: 100%; }

You just need to change “15” to ID of your service. Just display source code of your Service detail page and you will find it amongs classes of Body element.

Thank you. We have more than 8 services. Is there a way to limit to 8 services to show on the homepage (like in the demo)? But of course the rest would show on the main services page/archive.

Unfortunately, there is no such option right now, but you can hide services via CSS. Each service has an unique class.

For example, to hide a service in Header, use this Custom CSS:

.page-header .c-service.slug-<service-slug> { display: none; }

To hide a service in content created via Visual Composer, use this:

.wpb_wrapper .c-service.slug-<service-slug> { display: none; }

Without ”<>”. If you don’t know where to find/edit slug, check out this image.

I tried inserting the custom CSS code, but it didn’t remove the display from the homepage. I tried both the slug and the post ID. You have the login info from my email I just sent you about another thing you just helped me with. Can you take a look or give me another suggestion?

Sorry, my bad. It should be ”#page-header” not ”.page-header”. It works now, but as you can see, it kinda breaks the layout. You will have to hide only last seven services (if you want to have eight).

You will have to hire a freelancer for more fine tune customization of this.

Awesome! Thank you so much! Fortunately, If I remove the alphabetical sorting, it doesn’t break the layout. Everything looks great, with one exception… I removed all but 8 to show on the homepage, but the 8th one is lingering in the third row. I can’t figure out why it’s doing this. This should be the last thing and then I’ll (try) to be out of your hair!

That’s because you should hide only services at the end of your list. For example you have service 1 … 12. You want to show just eight. You shouldn’t hide third, or sixth, but only 9 – 12.And as you said, you can turn off alphabetical sorting and change publish date of services you want to hide to “move” them to the end of the list.

The layout of service list is created via CSS and even when you hide few services, the CSS engine still sees them and that’s why it’s causing this. So all hidden services have to be at the end of the services list to fix it.

You should use Object Inspector in Chrome or Firebug add-on in Firefox to examine the live code and have better idea which services are hidden and which are not and see their order.

Hi Lubos, thanks for reply.. I have done what u told me but slider doesn’t come out where do I have to put the image? Usually is in the menu SLIDES in the featured images..

Featured Image will be used as slide’s background (but you can also define a single background for whole slider when you insert Slider element).

Ok understood but the problem is than once I put the single image for the slider (in the drag&drop) it is not shown! Slider doesn’t appear at all in my homepage.. Can I give you username and password by mail? What’s your email?

Hi,

it can be done but only via shortcodes. Just use Add Shortcode button inside Carousel Item element. I’ve just noticed that Image shortcode is missing in Shortcode Generator, but you can still add image via Add Media button.

You will have to hire a freelancer if it is too advanced for you.

I’ve made them via PO Edit as always, i’ll try Codestyling.

Codestyling does no detect any language, see here.

That’s a bug, I will fix it in the next update. Meanwhile, you can use FTP to navigate to “wp-content/plugins/lsvr-toolkit-bluecollar/languages” and rename “en_GB.mo” to “lsvrtoolkit-en_GB.mo” and “en_GB.po” to “lsvrtoolkit-en_GB.po”. Sorry for any inconvenience!
