In the demo’s I do not see any WPML language selector nor any flags.. I wonder how Enfold has designed this and where it will show up. My decision to buy heavily lies on WPML implementation.

Pre-purchase question: Is it possible to have a right and left sidebar (same size) on posts with a featured video in main content of the post? So it would basically be a 1/4, 1/2, 1/4 layout on the blog post and the 1/2 is a featured video? Thanks.

I’m developing a static homepage for my blog using the masonry grid. It’s so close to what I want but wonder if it can do the following with a tweak here and there:
1. Is it possible in just show the headline in the box, and when hovering show the headline and excerpt?
2. To complement the above, can this just show the headline on mobile only? If an excerpt is long, it doesn’t work so well on mobile.
3. Can the transparency/colour on the headline/excerpt container be changed?
4. If I wanted to split a masonry layout with a banner, and continue with another masonry layout underneath, can an offset to applied to the second masonry box to pick up where the first left off?
5. If I specify 20 posts in a masonry box and then apply a filter, the box will show only the filtered posts from within that 20. Can it be made to show 20 of the filtered element instead?

Most of the stuff you are trying to do is possible but it requires css modifications since there are no options for this:
1.) Unfortunately not possible by default but if you set both title and caption to visible and then add this to your custom.css stylesheet in folder /css/ or to the quick-css panel located in your wordpress backend at Enfold->General Styling that should generate the desired result:

With your help, I’ve made a lot of progress in the last week. Re points 4 and 5 – I’ve gone with the “Load More” feature of the masonry layout and find it to be a better solution anyway.
Two more related questions:
1. I want to adjust the styling of the “Load More” button. I can change the entire full width background to orange, and change the font and size, but cannot seem to change the colour to white. How do I do that?
2. I’ve broken up my homepage with four different masonry boxes with very bold headings. The first three are two boxes wide, but the fourth is for short stories and I want them to be six across. How can I change the H3 header just for that masonry box?

really happy with the theme and the support, but a new problem popped up today, and I may not be the only one with it.
Google just sent me an email notifying me that my site has “mobile usability issues” on 98% of the pages, more specifically: touch elements too close, small font size and fixed width viewports.
The site displays and works fine on any mobile device I checked, and nobody has complained about it to me in person, but as long as these errors persist google won’t list the relevant pages as “mobile friendly” in the search results on mobile devices and says they will be ”...displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users,” which I feel comes across as a thinly veiled threat.
The fixes described in the Google Webmaster Tools are beyond my scope, especially in regards to customizing Enfold in the necessary ways… any ideas?

Hello Love Enfold. Have purchased it twice in the past 6 months and I am currently working on a third site with it.
One thing I would LOVE you to implement…
Contained column content within the Grid Row section. OR Fully editable padding inside and between columns/cells.
Basically the same as you can achieve with the Grid Row, but centrally contained within the site width.
Please consider adding this option. It would be the cherry on the cake.

That’s good to hear. One thing that’s difficult to achieve is getting images to ‘stick’ to the bottom of regular cells – as there is no vertical alignment. Obviously you have this option with the Grid Row – but then you must go full width, so the columns don’t align with other content on the page.

Hey! The default demo data is mostly different because of image license restrictions. This is something we cant really fix right now. We are working on getting extended licenses for all images but there are probably some pics which we will never be allowed to distribute. Sorry for that…
Nothing to do with images, the menu is totally different, the page layouts are totally different, I have no interest in images, they can be replaced with client images etc. the default theme does not install as per the demo. All the other versions are perfect, the default is completely different!
Ah I see what you mean. The page layouts are for the most part the same as far as I can tell but I see what you mean with the menu. The demo menu comes only close to what we have. This is due to the fact that only with the latest release were we able to improve the importer to include such things as mega menus into the demo import settings. That was not possible before. We will eventually update that I guess. Meanwhile its really not that hard to create a mega menu yourself under appearance->menus.
@ Limedrop I had the same problem with the Google maps widgets. I removed some basic HTML code which I used in one of the widget fields (pop-up info) and the widgets are showing up again!

Our site is done with Enfold and when we or our clients access to the site using theirs mobiles they see the site fine, responsive, but today we receive a “alert” to check the site using the Google tool to check if the site is responsive and we get a error there:

After buying and testing 5 themes which turned out not to be good enough for me, I am about ready to try Enfold. However, I spent close to a whole day going through most of your demos, and I have yet to see a single demo that shows BuddyPress integration. The demo that I need to start off my eCommerce project will need to have full integration with WooCommerce, BuddyPress, and bbPress. Can you please suggest which demos to preview, and would truly appreciate a quick reply as I need to make a fast decision. Thank you.

Hey! I am afraid I couldnt find any threads in our support regarding the issue so I can neither confirm nor deny that there is an issue with the current version of the plugin. If you are good with css it shouldnt be a problem to fix layout issues and if they are smaller we will gladly help to fix them…

My friend told me just now that you could replicate the problem by installing the newest demo startup business and installing the paid membership pro..and generate the required pages.. Since I got no copy of the plugin I am afraid that right now there is no option for me to check that. Will see if I can get a deep integration with one of the next release cycles. However this is nothing that I can promise right now

Hm, I think that should be quite easy to fix with a little CSS we can provide. So if the only problem are those form fields you are good to go

Probably silly question, but your new “Page Preloading” option in the Enfold settings section – what exactly does it do and when should it be used? Only for 1 page sites with continual scrolling, or is there a benefit for regular sites too?
Any info on it would be appreciated (I’ve tried Googling it but found very little helpful content)

Hey! Its actually only a visual gimmick that seems to be quite popular right now and was request often. Nothing that is really needed, it just looks nice, especially on pages with lots of images, since there should be no pageload flickering because images will be loaded while the preload overlay is visible

1. For the masonary product grid there is no sorry by price option. Can that be added?
2. Wil it be possible when someone scrolls down that automatically another 20 products will load… (20 as an example)
3. In your template there is an option to see a second image when you hover in category view. I’m using WP All import. Do you know if there is a ‘trigger’ so I can activate that when importing all products? Or is it possible to build it in the template configurator?

1.) I am afraid thats currently not possible. Since the masonry works with all post types all the options also need to work among all post types. Since price is something that is unique to products its currently not possible to sort by this parameter.
2.) You can do that by selecting the “read more button” option in the pagination option of the masonry. This will display a button that when pressed will load another set of items
3.) Since the secondary hover images is the first image of the product gallery I guess it should work fine by default with a proper importing tool?

Can you take a look at the ticket I added yesterday please? Ticket#413186 After the update to 3.1 some of my color section custom backgrounds won’t load at all on my mobile devices (iPhone & iPad) with Safari. They work fine on browsers. I have tried flushing the cache, reuploading theme via ftp, disabling plugins, deleting images, adding new color section, but nothing seems to fix this. If you look at this thread there are several other users that mentioned they are having the same issue. If there’s anything that can be done to fix this that would be great because it effects the user experience. I updated to 3.1.1 to see if that would fix it but it didn’t although it did help with the custom header issue Any help you can give me to fix this issue would be great! Thanks so much!

Wondering if you had a chance to look at this issue. A lot of users have been reporting issues with the background images in the color sections. I did some testing of my own and found out that the color sections won’t show up on mobile devices when “parallax” or “fixed” is selected. If I select “scroll” for the same color sections then they show up fine on mobile devices. I assume this is a bug that was introduced in the latest update. I’m hoping that you can provide a fix soon because half of my site isn’t showing up on mobile now since I have so many color sections Thanks!

Yes I think all of the issues are related to a parallax script issue that is already fixed. I hope to be able to release the update later today or early tomorrow to see if it fixes all the problems related to this
