Hi. Excellent theme. I’m going to buy it, but is it adsense ready ? And multilingual (french?) ?
Thanks.
Bonjour Sbarnous
Thanks for the interest in 15Zine. All themes that have a place to output ads are AdSense-ready. Themes that say “AdSense ready” are just being salesmen.
And if you want to use responsive AdSense, it’s the same as above, it works on any theme if you create a responsive ad by following Google’s official steps (here is the French version): https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/3543893?hl=fr
And the site at the moment comes with Spanish translation files done only. I have done the French translation too, and that will be included in the next update of the theme, although you can easily translate the theme into any language by following the steps from the documentation: http://docs.cubellthemes.com/15zine/#!/translation
Hope this helps

Sorry one more question. Can it integrate with Paid Membership Pro? The login is so clean. I just want it to go so smoothly.
Hey again,
Have you tested it already? The login with ajax uses the WordPress login/register forms, so I’d imagine it would work with plugins like that, but I have never tested/used that plugin.

Is this multisite compatible? What are your support hours? Cheers. Rogue
Hey Roguey,
Thanks for choosing 15Zine.
The theme is definitely multisite compatible, the only thing is that you may need to manually install the Cubell Themes Functionality plugin, which is located inside the theme folder 15zine/library/admin/extensions/
Support is done Monday-Friday and the rare weekend. Most tickets are answered within 24 hours (not including weekends)

Wow, Cubell! Just wow.
Like most people here, I fell head over heels for your theme. After many frustrating months of theme-hunting, this finally seems like THE theme. Most other themes seemed to impose a trade-off between aesthetics and functionality. This theme saves the buyer from that terrible choice, offering so much more than I expected.
This was meant to be a pre-purchase question, but I loved your theme so much I couldn’t resist buying it. And I’m SO glad I did. Seriously, best theme ever. I’ll be back to rave about how awesome it is soon.
So, my questions are as follows:
I know you mentioned to another person in the comments that there were difficulties with implementing HTML5 video (i.e. video covers) in this theme, for licensing and technical reasons. I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for them, and I find them cleaner and simpler than the video post options you provide. (Mea culpa). So without being too greedy:
1. Is there any chance that you might (re)consider implementing video covers in a future update, if licensing issues clear up?
2. If not, how difficult and/or expensive would it be – in your opinion – for a freelancer to code and integrate this function into the theme?
3. Where/how can I change the SIZE of the font, especially on the home page (particularly post excerpts). I’d like to increase their size.
4. Finally, I second Secondagenda’s (see above) question about whether it’s possible for the theme (perhaps in an update) to autocrop featured images.
Sorry to spam, and thanks for being alive. You’re the best.
Hey Daryl16,
Thanks so much for choosing 15Zine and for the cool comment! I literally laughed out loud when you thanked me for being alive haha. You made my day, thanks for that
1- If HTML5 gets the specification for Video finished/sorted, I will 100% add it as an option, just like the self-hosted audio. However, it seems like it could be years before they agree on a final format for all browsers (and no licensing issues)!
Although with that said, it is possible to do full-screen embeds with YouTube, I recently saw an incredible implementation of it on this wesite: http://my.austria.info/I will definitely explore maybe adding an option for a full-screen YouTube embed with custom made play/pause buttons, and then you could manually add a autoplay/loop/hd options to have it work similar to what you see in HTML5 video. I can’t promise it yet as it is a lot of coding, but I will definitely consider it and try to implement it in the future.
2- It depends on who you hire and how they implement it, but it would likely take a few days work, so i’m not sure exactly how much that would cost!
3- The theme uses responsive font sizes, which is why there isn’t an option to specify certain font-sizes, as if there was an option, it would override the responsive code and end up with potentially huge font-sizes on mobile, or small font-sizes on desktop. So the best way is to use custom CSS and target only what you want to target, it sounds like you want to target desktops, in which case it’s done like this. Copy/paste the following CSS code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box and adjust the font size values accordingly:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) {
.cb-module-block .cb-excerpt { font-size: 12px;}
}
4- A theme can’t do that i’m afraid, whenever you install a new theme, that theme has its own thumbnail sizes, and whenever you upload an image, WordPress creates thumbnails in the sizes specified, which means when you change themes, all your old images have thumbnails created that most likely won’t fit in your new theme. And the only way to make them all have thumbnails to fit nicely in your new theme, is to regenerate them using a plugin.
I hope this helps and thanks again
Cubell
Thanks so much for your thoughtful and detailed answer. The more I play around with the theme options, the more I am convinced that this is the best theme ever. So much awesome!
No worries, I always help where I can
And really happy you’re enjoying the theme! I worked hard on making it pretty/easy/logical to use, which ultimately is what makes it a fun experience!
Quality.
Hi Neiloughton,
Thanks for choosing 15Zine, happy you like it
Cubell
Hello, i am looking for something simple, a homepage with 2 col see an example here http://distractify.com/
Can i do something similar with this theme?
Hey Tomawebdev,
Thanks for the interest in 15Zine. In 15Zine, you can build your homepage using the exclusive 15Zine homepage builder, and in it you can add as many (or as few) modules you want. There isn’t a 2 column full-width module exactly like that, there is only a slider that is of 2 posts that is full-width.
An example of a simple homepage can be found here: http://15zine.cubellthemes.com/home-simple/
And to see the slider of 2 that I mentioned (and all the other modules available on the pagebuilder that you can add) you can check out this page: http://15zine.cubellthemes.com/home-all-modules/
I hope this helps.
Cubell
Hey,
I was wondering how to get the small author icon to appear when a posting is using the parralex view? All my author accounts are connected to the posts at the bottom but in the parralex view the small icon comes up blank.
Example: http://nilsenreport.ca/2015/03/23/ottawa-bluesfest-2015-official-lineup/
Thanks again and awesome theme!
Hey HighlightReel,
Thanks for choosing 15Zine, I hope you enjoy using it
That looks really strange! It’s most likely a plugin or permalink cache issue. Try disabling all plugins and see if that helps. If not, try going to your Settings -> Permalinks, and change the structure, hit save, then change back and hit save again, this will flush your permalinks DNS cache.
I hope this helps, if not let me know and I’ll try to investigate further.
Cubell
Hey Cubell,
Just tried both of these fixes but neither seemed to work!
Cheers, Aaron
Hey Aaron,
How bizarre! Can you please open up a private ticket at http://support.cubellthemes.com and include login details to a temporary admin account to have a look around and try to figure out what’s happening?

when i saw your template i thought this is THE one for my site! really good work but I have some purchase questions:
1- is it possible to have in top menu social media icons (instead of login)? see my site https://womenlovetech.com
2- can i place (in single post) – the comment area (with your help) just after the share on follow by the related post?
3- in your featured image standard can i place images of 710×435px sorry to ask but you know the struggle when you move an existing site to another template…
4 – can i set all my existing posts in your standard post without do it individually?
5 – can i create a grid of videos on the homepage?
Many thanks looking forward to see your replies.
Hi Fredbros,
Thanks for checking out 15Zine and for the kind words
1- Yeah, the theme comes with Font-Awesome installed, so you can go to http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ and click on an icon, copy the relevant code and paste it as the menu item title in the menu you want to put it in.
2- What exactly do you mean by that? Because the comment area is after the share/related posts blocks. If you want to turn off the others (about the author box or next/previous posts block for example), there is an option in the theme options to turn them individually on/off.
3- 15Zine’s standard image is slightly wider than that (750px), however, if your current featured image’s original size is smaller than that, then it will become 100% the width automatically (750px) using CSS.
4- Yeah, the standard featured image style is actually the default one, however, there is also a “featured image style global override” option in the theme options where you can set all your posts to use a specific featured image style. Inside each post you will also find an option to “ignore the override”, in case you want all your posts to be parallax, and one standard for example.
5- If you create a homepage using the pagebuilder, all the modules have the option to show posts using either “Category/tag/post name” filters. So you could technically either set all your video posts to a single category and make the module show that category. Or you could give all your video posts a special same tag (for example: videos) and then make the module only show posts with the videos tag. And then the module will show those posts, however, you can’t play the videos from there, visitor would click to go inside the post and there they would have the option to play the video.
I really hope this helps and all makes sense. If you need to know anything else, feel free to ask
Cubell
Thank you for your prompt response, I am one of your customer now
No problem, happy to help! And thanks very much for choosing 15Zine, I really hope you enjoy using it

Hi Cubell, I bought it and I can’t believed it how easy and fast i set up the website within hours, again great work! I have some minor problems to be fixed – 1. the post view count doesn’t show up (it’s set up in theme options and I emptied cache) 2. the related post in single post show old post of 2013 and not 2014. 3. can you give me some custom css code to reduce the font size on the home page for categories titles and titles in top slider? 4. I would love to have my logo bigger it’s a landscape and needs to be larger. Many thanks, here my site https://womenlovetech.com
one more thing I would like to move the comment area just under the end of the post – can you help? (without deleting other parts related post, share on and author) thanks
Can i also make a suggestion…. your widgets are really good, but the social the icons are too big and it would be great to have a widget for a newsletter sign up
sorry for being so talkative
Hey again,
Thanks for getting 15Zine, I’m glad you found it easy to use! One big emphasis I had during the development of the theme was to make it powerful but still super easy and logical to use, so no coding really required and anyone can set it up quickly without having to hire someone!
1- The post views use the data from Jetpacks -> Stats module, and to be able to use them, you have to cache them for a few minutes, as otherwise they ban you! And the theme uses JetPack stats, because it is a free, easy to use and very powerful stats engine, and much better than anything any theme could ever created!
2- If you go to Theme Options -> Posts, there are some controls over what related posts are shown. If you have it to use the tags, then if you have old posts with the same tags, they will appear some times in some posts.
3- All the module titles use the same CSS, so you could change them by copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
@media only screen and (min-width: 1020px) {
.cb-module-header h2 { font-size: 38px; }
}
And adjusting the value.
4- You can upload any logo size you want, if you want it to be bigger, just upload a bigger version, perhaps set the logo to be centered too (there is an option to change logo position).
5- The only way is to customize the code I’m afraid, if you edit 15zine/single.php and look for cb-article-footer, below you will see some lines, each one represents a block in the post footer, simply rearrange the lines to order it how you wish, all the lines are short and have relevant names to make it easy to know what’s what.
6- Perhaps try using this plugin’s widget which I think already has smaller sizes: https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-media-widget/ And for newsletter, depending on your service, there are lots of great free and premium ones that would do a much better job than any theme could try to do (plugins for something specific are developed over a long time so have much more options/power than when themes try to do it).
I hope this helps
Cubell
thank you
You’re welcome
Is there buddypress integration going to be added? If not, why was it left out? Thanks!
Hey VatoL,
Thanks for the interest in 15Zine. Yes, BuddyPress will definitely be integrated into 15Zine in an early future update.
Cubell
Hey Cubell,
Finally, it’s here!
As I have already mentioned that to you, 15Zine is a one-of-a-kind theme and it’s absolutely wonderful to say the least.
I can go on compliment it for hours, but it has been done so so many times in the comments above
It is a unique as ever.
I also have a question in regards to future WooCommerce addition – can products be used to be displayed just like normal post within the grid sections, sliders etc. as well as images within megamenu? I might have a E-commerce project coming up soon, so the whole website will be based on products and one of the requirements to have products displayed as images within megamenu. If it’s possible that would be just wonderful.
I know the custom post types can be used, but just wanted to double check if it works the same for WooCommerce.
Thanks Cubell!
Best, Timur
Hey Timur,
It finally is here! Took a while, but got there in the end
And as always, I’m really thankful for your support and kind words!
I will definitely look into that one, up until now, I think the only way to get WooCommerce products on Valenti, was to use the shortcodes that WooCommerce provides in a Custom Code module, but I will explore if it is possible to make a megamenu for it in 15Zine! Because without really investigating it further, I think it could look cool/useful!
Thanks again bud and all the best!
Cubell
Hey Cubell,
Thanks! That would be absolutely great if at some point you could make it possible for WooCommerce products to appear in MegaMenu. I honestly think it would take your already great theme to the next level and become not only the ultimate Magazine theme, but also the ultimate WooCommerce theme as the whole design of the theme could also really suit E-commerce websites.
Thanks, Timur
Hey Timur,
I agree, I really think it’d be great too, and I will definitely look into it and hopefully be able to do it, stay tuned just in case

Hey Fkpress,
Really happy you like it, I hope you enjoy using it too

i try to. on www.effka.de – but how can i change the colour of the orange links and review-rating?
Hey again,
Do you mean the links in Startseite? If so, I just realized I forgot to add the option to change that, I will definitely add it in the next update, but until then, copy/paste the following code into your Theme Options -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS box:
#cb-nav-bar .cb-mega-menu-columns .cb-sub-menu > li > a { color: #000; }/pre>
And change that #000 to your desired color.
2- The reviews use the color of the category, so simply edit the category that the review post is set to, and give it a global category color, and the review will show that.
Hope this helps!
Cubell
i am no css-expert. but the code is not useful, to copy and paste it. doesn’t change the colour.
#cb-nav-bar .cb-mega-menu-columns .cb-sub-menu > li > a { color: #000 !important; }
That will make the titles black, but to give it a specific color, you can get the hexadecimal code (to replace the #000) on this website: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/ref_colorpicker.asp
Hope this helps!
Cubell
yeah! it works!
many thanks!
now another question: how do i build the grid and ads page as in the demo? i just get it with distance between the modules – at effka.de
Happy to hear, and no problem
If you only want grids on the homepage, you could just use a normal WordPress homepage (Latest posts setting), and then change the blog style of if in Theme Options -> Homepage to the grid blog style with no sidebar. Then you’d have automatic pagination and all would work automatically.
However, if you want to use the pagebuilder grids in that way for a homepage, you can do it by copy/paste the following CSS code into your Theme Options -> Custom code -> Custom CSS box:
.page-id-4 .cb-grid-block { margin-bottom: 0; }
And that 4 is the ID of your page (It is literally the ID of that page, so just copy/paste that code and it should work).
Cubell
i took the second way – to have variations of grid style. can you take a look? works fine, i think. www.effka.de
I had a look but I don’t think the CSS has been added, I tried looking in the source code, and it isn’t outputting anywhere, are you sure you copy/pasted it in the Custom CSS box?
Cubell
It looks truely amazing, you did a very good job with it
. Glws.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it
Hi
this is really a nice theme! We would love to buy it, but before we do, we have one question about the features. Is it possible to include a shop in this theme? If yes, is that very complicated?
Lookinf forward to you reply. Thanks.
Hi Niruba,
Thanks very much for the kind words and interest in 15Zine
The theme isn’t fully-compatible with WooCommerce yet (the most popular free ecommerce plugin for WordPress), but it will be in an early update of the theme. So once that update is out, you will be able to use WooCommerce with the theme and have your own shop
Cubell
Having issue with thumbnails not showing up (404 error) after running the force regenerate thumbnails plugin as suggested. Could you please look into the ticket I submitted? As always, thanks for amazing theme and great customer support.
Hey CPWerks,
You’re welcome
And I will be going through tickets in the support system shortly.
Cubell
Hi, Cubell, this is a great theme. Two questions: 1) can I make a link in “OPTIONAL TITLE FOR AD”? 2) can i integrate the plugin “Social Login” in login form? Thanks
Hey Borxes,
Thanks for checking out 15Zine
1- Sure thing, you can give any of the module titles a link by using basic HTML code:
<a href="http://url-you-want-to-click-to">Module title</a>
2- I have never tested that plugin, but it should work. If it doesn’t, I know you can definitely use https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-connect/ to add social login to the login with ajax.
Hope this helps
Cubell
Hello, just wondering if there was a way i could get the homepage demo info. I’m having a tough time to get it like yours and if there is a way you can set up for me that would be great.
Hi Gabewalk,
Thanks for choosing 15Zine. Did you try following the steps in the documentation? Check it out here: http://docs.cubellthemes.com/15zine There is a video (in Creating The Homepage section) that shows me creating the homepage from scratch.
Hope this helps.
Cubell
I watched the video but I was still a little lost with all the extra details that u couldn’t do.
Hey again,
What step are you getting stuck at? If you explain exactly what you’ve done so far, I will gladly explain the rest, it’s easy once you understand the system
Cubell
I’m getting stuck at the sidebar section I don’t know which widgets will make it exactly the demo. And I am also having trouble with the details and specifications of the menu.
In the demo site, wherever there is a widget, if it’s a 15Zine one, it should have some sort of reference to the widget name. So for example, on the demo homepage, the sidebar next to section B has the following widgets: 15Zine Popular Widgets (set to filter by comment count), Tags widget, Search, 15Zine Google+ widget, 15Zine Top Reviews widget and finally a normal text widget with ad code in it. For the global sidebar (the one that appears in most places), it’s the 15Zine Latest Posts widget, 15Zine Latest Slider and the 15Zine top reviews widget.
And for the menu, it’s all done in Appearance -> Menus. Create a new menu, set it to the “Main Navigation menu” location. And to have megamenus, all you need to do is make sure you add a menu item from the “Categories” option on the left, and then you will see a dropdown to select a megamenu type, simply set your option, and save, and all the magic will happen automatically.
Let me know if you need any more info about this
Cubell
Great thats what I needed!! the footer widgets have also been giving me trouble as well.
No problem, happy I could help!
The footer widgets are as follow:
First, in the Theme options -> Footer section, the theme demo uses the first “3 Columns” option in the Footer Layout option. Then in Appearance -> Widgets, in Footer 1: 15Zine Social Widget and I simply inserted URLS for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram options, then another 15Zine Latest Slider widget. Then in Footer 2: Search Widget and 15Zine 125px ads widget, and simply inserted the code for the ads. Then in Footer 3, it’s only one 15Zine Popular Posts widget.
Hope this helps buddy.
Cubell
Thanks another quick question, do you know which plug ins may cause the theme to be unresponsive. Also whenever i Select the video post with the overlay over the screen it becomes gray and also unresponsive. Just a few quick questions get back to me when you can.
No problem! There is an option in the Theme Options to turn off responsive mode, so check there first to see if you didn’t set it to “off” by mistake. If that wasn’t it, do you have Jetpack installed? If so, check whether you have JetPacks Mobiel Theme module active, that will override any theme’s responsiveness, so make sure that is off.
And regarding the video, if you open a ticket at http://support.cubellthemes.com and include the URL of that video, I can take a look and investigate it further.
All the best,
Cubell
I checked everything and everything was off. Like whenever i click a picture or a video the site becomes unresponsive and grayed out, do you think it is a plug in?
It’s hard to say without seeing it, if you share the URL on the support, I’ll definitely take a look at your site on mobile and try to figure out what’s going on.
Cubell
OK my site is irrelevantgamer.com and it’s mostly been acting unresponsive on the desktop version.
Hey again,
I had a look and everything seems to be working fine, can you elaborate on what you mean by acting unresponsive on the desktop? The desktop would just load one size, so I’m a bit confused as to what you are seeing, can you share a screenshot to try to better understand?
Cubell
Whenever I click a picture or when i set a post to video and select the video overlay, thats when it becomes unresponsive. Sorry,I should have been more clear.
Also how do you set up the log in to where it pops up on the screen with the 15zine theme and not the wordpress one.
Hey again,
I had a look at this post: http://irrelevantgamer.com/super-mario-64-remastered-for-pc/ and the video seems to work fine to me. Can you tell me the exact steps to recreate the issue you see?
And I see you managed to get the login modal working now, you can upload a logo to appear inside the login box too, you do it in Theme Options -> logo.
Hope this helps.
Cubell
Hey, sorry about that it’s like every time I told you to take a look it fixed itself somehow. Thanks for taking a look though, I really appreciate if
It*
Haha no problem, I’m happy it’s all good now
Cubell,
The retina display logo isn’t working for me, I know you suggested deactivating plugins on page 2 but that didn’t fix it. The retina display also doesn’t work on your test site.
Any way to fix it?
Hasman
Hi Hasman,
I had a look and found the reason! I have fixed it in the demo site now, and it is a simple fix and will be included in v1.1 update, but until then, open a ticket at http://support.cubellthemes.com and I can share the patched file.
Cubell
Hey Cubell,
The lightbox for audio and video isn’t working on some google chrome on our site, or safari on iPhones.
Cleared our cache and all. Wondering if theres a fix to this.
Thanks
Nevermind, deactivating plugins fixed it for me.
Hey Hasman23,
No problemo, happy to hear you got it sorted
Cubell
I just bought it, thanks for the work again
Btw, it would be awesome to include in a better way the social networks, like the Wanderlusters did. Your way is nice but not optimal in my opinion
Cheers
Hey again,
Thanks very much for getting 15Zine, hope you enjoy using it
And I use the default social network sharing designs for the social sharing block because you are not actually allowed to customize/modify the logos or buttons of social networks. You can see Facebook’s stance on it here: www.facebookbrand.com And I do not want my themes to include things that I know are technically speaking infringing on someone’s intellectual property/trademarks! But of course it is your site so if you want to use something in specific, you have the option to turn the 15Zine social sharing block off and then install a plugin of your choice for it (there are loads of great free/paid ones).
I hope this makes sense
Cubell
