Can you confirm that that folder doesn’t already exists in the directory listed? It appears you already have a copy of the Salient VC there

In the portfolio thumbnails where there is a White plus sign in the bottom left corner on a grey background. is it possible to either A) get rid of this using CSS or 
changing the colours of the grey background or the cross to make it more subtle?

Hey – you can use the top/bottom padding values on each of your rows, if that’s not what you want to do please share a screenshot mockup of what you’re trying to achieve

But right now I have a problem with this code : where can I put it ? I tried to use it so it shows just above the author section, but the links always ultimately end in this area, which ultimately makes them unclickable. I’d like them to be just above it, maybe in an exclusive section.
I tried to create a separate section with “container” and “row” divs, but it doesn’t change anything (I’m trying to add this code around line 370 of the single.php file).

I’m trying to create the full width 4 column layout for my portfolio page. I’ve read that others seem to be able to have an option that forces it to four columns.
I have three options, three column, four column and full width. Whenever I select four column it removes the full width. Whenever I go full width it makes a five column layout.
http://www.pixelrushstudio.com.au/portfolio/I’m running version 5 but it seems that the options have been available for a while now? I’ve tried using an image size of 600×400 and then used another one which was larger than 500 pixels for height as recommended in documentation.

Thanks, the problem was that I was trying to control it through the salient options panel use the portfolio page template. What I needed to do was just add the portfolio option within the visual composer and then set as you’ve outlined in the screenshot.

Nice theme. What might I be doing wrong if when the page loads, it jumps down to a point much lower than the top of the page? Do dividers or CSS animations have anything to do with that? I am just using images and text built with the Page Builder. And what do the dividers do?
Btw, I have shortcodes ultimate installed as well as the nectar shortcodes, and the nectar UI does not appear as a modal like ultimate does, making it unusable if I open up a text block first and then try to add a shortcode to it. Btw, why are there no button elements in the page builder?

Hi there!! I’ve tried other themes and yours is always the best, congrats! Just one question, I did in some pages the one-page option. I mean, not all the website is a one-page only some sections. I added this sections to the menu but I am not able to click directly to this sections when I am at the home page. I have to click first to the main menu and then I can click on the section. I’ve tried doing a redirect but is not working… Maybe it’s better if I write down the website: http://www.bitabitmarketing.com . As an example, I can’t access directly to the section “servicios de marketing online” and i have to click first on Marketing online and then I can click on “servicios de marketing online”. Make sure when adding page links make sure you use the full URL instead of just the anchor. For example: http://domain.com/#anchor as opposed to #anchor

As you said, I’m using the full URL but only in the menu (LINKS > URL) but, in the visual composer > ROW where I want to give a unique ID, I wrote only the anchor text (as you said in your video tutorial). Do you have a text tutorial for this? I can’t find it…
I understand is slightly different if you want a fully one-page website and when you want some parts of your website to be as one-page… and I understand that’s why is not working my website when clicking from HOME > SUBMENU, and it’s only is working if I click: HOME > MENU > SUBMENU. Me again. The site owner of seeitchicago.com. Thanks again for your help on previous issues.
As I am getting closer to launching the site, I’m starting to add content. My issue now is in regard to the nectar slider. Previously, I had static images in all of my slides which worked fine. However, I’m replacing them with short video backgrounds. Here are my problems:
1. On Chrome and Firefox, the video backgrounds on each slide play beautifully on the first loop. Once the final slide plays, I have it loop back to the first slide to start the process all over again. However, the video doesn’t automatically start playing on the first slide. When it goes to the next slide, the video starts playing automatically. The video will begin playing on the first slide if you mouse over the slide, but left alone, it won’t begin playing.
2. On Internet Explorer (testing with IE11), none of the video backgrounds display at all. Not even the static images I’ve uploaded in case a browser doesn’t support the video playback. I’ve uploaded both MP4 and WebM formats and I even ran the video through the online website converter you recommended in the installation PDF.
Can these issues be resolved somehow?

1. Unfortunately i’m unable to replicate this so far on Windows 7, have you confirmed the behavior on more than one machine?
2. I just tested quick on IE 11/10 and am able to see the video slides playing – what OS are you on?

1. I tested things out on another machine running Windows 7 and it behaved the same for me. The first video doesn’t automatically start playing. Very strange!
2. I am running Windows 8. When I launched IE11 on my machine, no video on the slides at all. I tested it on another machine with IE11 running Windows 7 and the video appeared and played. I’m really not sure why it would behave like that. :/

another thing we noticed when developing with this theme is that when we hide a row within VC, the resources will still load in the background. (like images) Also the hide option on mobile seems to show several ‘bars’ and ‘sections’ even when it supposed to be hidden. I think this must be some bug because when hidden is selected for say mobile, it should hide the row so the element is seamlessly followed by the row underneath.
Can you guys take a look at it?
