It has an option to make a slider Testimonials? I only see only one

I have just purchased the theme and find there are no sample home pages or other pages. when I purchased the other porto theme there were a bunch of sample pages to just modify. Can you tell me why this is? or direct me to where I can access sample data?

I bought the previous version of this theme with the same name that looks very similar. But it looks like this old theme (which went by the same name of Porto) is no longer supported by the developer and this new theme has taken it’s place. I can see that some elements are upgraded, but it also seems like a lot is still the same, certainly from the appearance of the theme.
What should users of the old theme do? Do we have to repurchase and install this new theme?
Is there a reason why this theme could not have been released as a new version of the old theme?

This is Porto eCommerce version, old Porto was purposed for coporative homepages. If you want to use eCommerce version of Porto, you should purchase this again.
Hi, that’s disappointing. It looks like the existing Porto theme with a ecommerce element. I can see that there are new features, but was it not possible to continue developing the corporate homepage theme and the commerce version at the same time – this would surely be more thoughtful to existing users of your themes?
It feels like you’ve left existing users without any ongoing theme updates (I only bought the theme a few months ago!)
Will the new ecommerce theme work as a development of the old corporate version or I am going to have to rebuild the site to make it work?
It feels unreasonable to ask me to pay again to receive updates for a theme that I’ve purchased so recently!
Sorry, we’re not the same author of original Porto wordpress theme. It was removed due to lack customer service and product quality. We’re planning to include old coporative versions, it will be available in 1~1.5 months.
Okay. That’s fair enough and good to know that you’ve taken it on. Sorry for giving you a hard time, I assumed it was the same author. Can I ask whether you are planning to make your new corporate version work as an upgrade for users of the old theme. I appreciate it would be a paid upgrade, but I’m wondering if you are hoping to make the upgrade fairly seamless? Thanks
It will be difficult to upgrade theme from Spyropress’s porto to ours as we have different framework. For example, Spyropress used their own page builder, but we’re using Visual Composer.

I just purchased the theme “Porto WooCommerce” and when activating the theme, I load the web page as blank screen.

I bought the html version of this and it was great! Quick question. Thinking about purchasing the WP version, but had a quick question first. Initially the site is not going to be e-commerce. Is it easy to hide the cart/disable the ecommerce features? Still want to use all of the widgets and design elements, but nothing e-commerce.
also, is there a sample data import option, so I’d be able to hit the ground running with the theme as it appears in our demo?

We embedded unique dummy data, You can change a front page to Home Version 5 after import. Please try the steps in faq #2 and then you can see demo 5.
Porto is really good. I bought it few miniutes ago. When i will use it successfully, then i will must give you review. But one request to you that, Is it possible to include comparaison option? It will be better for all buyers.

Hi, You can add the social icons to the header area. You can add the social icons in Theme Options/Header. You can remove the quick view and wishlist. You can disable these option in Theme Options/Woocommerce. You can add some style to hide the shopping cart band. Regards, SW
Hi, I have some presale queries regarding Porto Ecommerce theme. 1. My website is mainly focused to Arab customers, Is it possible to set Multilanguage especially Arabic(RTL alignment) language. 2. I website contains some variable products, Auction products(using woocommece auction pluggin, )also event ticket selling. is it possible for to create tickets selling features using this theme.

No, Porto does not include such ticket plugin.
Does it support third party form plugins and pop up plugins also is this theme compatible with all devices like mobile, tab etc

Hi, You can use Porto Products shortcode. When edit the page or other content type, you can add Porto Products element in Woocommerce section. You should input the product ids in “Products” field. Regards, SW
Is this theme fully working with PHP5.5 version ?
Seems it is fully working with latest PHP versions.
This theme has also very simple and well documented setup process. Nice online documentation that really match for install process. $58 USD is bargain for this.
