Nectar sliders doesn’t work on Chrome nor on Safari. Why?

I made it work on Chrome. I commented the following line in style.css
.swiper-wrapper { /-webkit-transform:none!important;/ }
But it still doesnt work on Safari as expected. Any ideas?

I have bought the theme which is great but I would like to link different category pages from woocommernce to the home page but cant find out how. Pretty much I am after an option to create buttons on the homepage like the portfolio example and when you hover over it, it zooms in slightly and when you click it sends you to that category in the woocommerece. Can you please help me out? Many thanks, Antony

You could use a VC image gallery element with one of the portfolio styles – for each image you add in the media editor there’s an option to add a custom URL which could lead to anything you need

I am trying to get the mega menu (which I have working) to work the drop down menu with no luck. At the moment I have 10 pages under “online shop” and I have written in the CSS Classes “megamenu columns-4” but it still shows all the 10 pages in a line and not under each other in four columns which I am after. Any ideas?

Hi I’m trying to use the nectar slider / image gallery (with nectar slider style) , and I seem to be having the same issues with both…. They seem to work fine when they are in a 2/3 column, but when I put them in a 7/12 column they behave strangely and have different aspect ratios on different screen sizes. I have a set of images and they seem to always be cut off when put in the nectar slider within a 7/12 column, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hey again – try activating the ext. responsive design option in your theme options panel and also activating the flexible height option in your Nectar Slider element inside of Visual Composer
Hey, i’m a little confused about Visual Composer. I am not able to download it in from my Plugins page in my WP Admin. Are you saying we have to purchase it from Theme Forest in order to use features such as galleries in posts?

Hey – it’s included with the theme, if you’re not seeing it in your plugins section via the admin panel you can find it sitting inside of your plugins folder directly inside of the theme directory

How can I resolve this? I know Salient is a mobile-friendly and responsive theme so not sure why this is showing up this way. I didn’t make any changes to theme or core code, etc.

Hey – the theme comes ready to translate but no languages are included as you would have to translate it yourself using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/

In your presentation for http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ascend/blog-masonry-sidebar/ all articles displayed do not have any drop shadow. That flat effect is really what I am looking for. How could I reproduce it without uploading a Dummy ?

Hello, is there a way to disable, completly and everywhere, prettyphoto lightbox? I have a separate plugin that works better for me, and i just can get rid of prettyphoto. When i open i picture i got to lightboxes, one over another. Please help

I´m having some problems using the nectar slider short code in a template file, but the slider does not appear. Using the shortcode below, nothing shows:

The HTML code is there, but all is set to being hidden.
If I insert a nectar slider short code in the content of a page, then both sliders show. (through the content of the page, and through the PHP code).
Could you help me with this issue. Perhaps there is a filter it isn’t getting passed through, or a JS function not getting fired?

1) I have problem displaying dropdown filter in portfolio, it seems to load “behind” the content, see for example http://www.narozlucku.cz/program/. Setting z-index on #portfolio-filters to higher number didn’t help. Also when you hover over dropdown, the translated “sort portfolio” switch back to default EN language.
2) In CART http://www.narozlucku.cz/cart/ there are 2 input/buttons for Checkout. I need to disable the grey one and leave only the purple but can’t seem to figure out where.

How do I place a simple image gallery on a page that is not associated with a portfolio, but pulls images from my media library and opens them in a prettyPhoto? I tried it in visual composer using the different image gallery options and they all display so ugly either as a single huge image or as separate thumbnails. I want a nice auto-rotating viewer with thumbnails side-by-side without gaps. Thanks!

The VC image gallery element would be the only way to do this – the only slider styles in there are the simple and nectar slider ones, if neither of those are what you want it would require a plugin

Oops, I did add the pre tags. I copied and pasted the code as is from the email sent over.
I tried to delete it and add the code from your comment above and WP asked, “Are You Sure You Want To Do This?” Not sure what will happen if I select yes.
I was able to paste the code without the pre tags, and upon review on my mobile device, the headers are still not resizing.

I find it much easier to start from the starting point of how you have things setup in the the demo and then go from this point changing the content part over to my own parts.

Is this normal? Install theme and plugins. Create a new page. Place a row with the visual editor. Add a text box. Type in some text. Save everything. Page renders the text flat against left margin and all the way to right margin – is there no default padding/margin styling?
Similar question on vertical spacing of elements. Say I then add another row below the one above, add some other elements inside. Save all. The page renders the vertical elements right against each other, and when combined with the apparent lack of margins/padding for text, it looks terrible—unless I add “dividers” between everything.
Is this the expected behavior? If so, it’s easy to see that I’ll need to create a complete custom stylesheet. Or am I missing something?

1. This is not default behavior unless you’re using a “full width content” row – could you kindly allow me to see a page demonstrating this?
2. The default row type “in container” does add spacing between the rows, if that’s not occurring for you please allow to check the URL in regards
