Hi there,
We’re looking to not have the Google Map scroll on mobile as you swipe down the page. Currently, especially for full-width, taller maps, once you get to the map on the screen and continue swiping to scroll, the map pans around instead of the actual page scrolling. Can you add an option (or provide custom code) to disable this?
Thanks!
Hey,
Try adding this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
@media only screen and (max-width: 690px) {
.nectar-google-map { z-index: -1; }
}
Cheers
Perfect, that took care of it! Thanks a bunch!
You’re welcome
Just got this theme a few days ago and impressed with the quality of it!
I’m having trouble with getting my URLs to link to external webpages for the CSS Image. Right now it tacks on my domain URL in front of the URL I want it to go. ex. www.domain.com/www.externalsite.com so it obviously gives me a 404. How do I stop it from automatically adding the domain URL in?
Thanks
2) Also is wide+tall sizes only available for the full-width option cause it doesn’t seem to work in the 3/4-column constraint versions of masonry.
3) How can I have the fullwidth-style masonry portfolio constraint inside a container? Or at least stop it from scaling up infinitely and set a maximum width for the portfolio.
Thanks!
Hey!
1. Make sure you’re adding http:// to the links e.g. http://www.externalsite.com
2. Yes, you’d need to use css as mentioned below to bypass and get something similar
3. Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
body div.portfolio-items[data-col-num="elastic"] {
max-width: 1200px;
margin: 0 auto!important;
}
Cheers

Hello there, on the top different menu nav, i put the code you said, and it works great, but when we go mobile, the homepage menu is not the homepage manu, is the top navigation.
Any way to fix this?
Thanks,
/*/ if (is_front_page()) { wp_nav_menu (array (‘walker’ => new Nectar_Arrow_Walker_Nav_Menu, “theme_location” => “homepage”, ‘container’ => ’’, ‘items_wrap’ => ‘%3$s’ )); } else { wp_nav_menu( array(‘walker’ => new Nectar_Arrow_Walker_Nav_Menu, ‘theme_location’ => ‘top_nav’, ‘container’ => ’’, ‘items_wrap’ => ‘%3$s’ ) ); }

Hey,
Could you kindly share your URL in regards so I can take a look?

Hey again! You’d need to also use the conditional within the mobile-menu div a little further down in the header.php file as well

Thanks
You’re welcome
Hi, I’m using the nectar slider in my website. It works fine but on my phone it looks really bad (responsive). The text is to small to read and the image looks blurry. Is there anything I can change about this?
Or could I use the Home Slider instead for a better responsive result?
Thank you!
Hey!
The text sizes scales down proportional to the rest of the slider to ensure no clipping on the image. If you want to change it you just need to alter the few lines of css for elements in that viewport. Look for these rules in the mobile viewport in the responsive.css stylesheet located in the css folder.
body .swiper-slide .content h2 body .swiper-slide .content p body .swiper-slide .button a

Hi Guys
Is it possible to have the prices visible on the products blocks in your new update, currently its set to show on mouse over but would like it to be visible always?
Thanks
Hey,
Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
.text_on_hover.product .text-on-hover-wrap {
opacity: 1!important;
}

In Salient Options > Portfolio > Slug, when I leave the field blank, it still automatically shows Portfolio in the slug. When it’s blank, it should not include any slug or at least give options for a permalink structure (example: project-category ). Can you consider this for a future release?
In the meantime, how can I bypass the Portfolio slug and change it to just be the project category?
Now: www.site.com/portfolio/category-1/ After: www.site.com/category-1/
Hey,
This is not how custom post types work by default in WP – in order to accomplish that you’d need to mod the functions.php file a but. Please see this in regards https://wordpress.org/support/topic/insert-category-of-taxonomy-between-custom-post-type-and-post

I have a Nectar slideshow at this url http://act3international.com.sg/wordpress/
My problem is in the mobile view, the slider does not proportionally scaled in terms of height to show most of the image. Instead I am see the middle portion of the slide image. This is unlike your demo.
Thanks
Hey – make sure you don’t have a high value set for the minimum height in your slide element within Visual Composer
I’m having a strange issue with my nectar slider. It seems to be “bumping down” 20px or so during each transition.

Hey there, I opened a ticket on Thursday. Let me know if you need anything else
Hey again – sorry for the delay, will be back on it shortly
How shortly?
Could you kindly share your ticket ID?
For some reason, your init.js is adding a bunch of code to an iframe that I’m using for a YouTube video. Stuff like:
width: 0px; height: 0px; opacity: 1; visibility: visible;
Because of this extra code, the modal that I’m displaying the video in won’t load to the correct height… until Inspect Element is opened and triggers the JS to reevaluate the inline styling…
How can I get past this?
Hey.
Please see the function responsiveVideoIframesInit inside of the init.js in regards (you could delete the call if desired)

I upgraded to the new theme and it’s not showing up on mobile devices. My url is www.ezibota.com. Please help.
It seems you have a plugin redirecting the mobile to a different theme, please try deactivating any that may be doing that
I deactivated all of my plugins and its still doing it. It happened after I upgraded the theme and downloaded the Salient visual composer plugin but even after I deactivated that plugin it still does it.
Update: The issue is definitely with the theme. I have another website that uses the same theme, www.onthewallshots.com, and it’s having the same issue. I know for a fact it’s not a plugin redirecting the mobile to a different theme because onthewallshots.com only has two activated plugins that I completely deleted and the issue persists.
Hey – please see my response to your previous comment in regards
Any chance you could tell me where you got the “Default Arrow” font set from?
Hey – the default arrow was a single custom made icon which was included via fontface. I used this site to make the font family though: https://icomoon.io/
Is there a way either in the Salient editor or with a bit of custom code to enlarge the logo or even reduce the scaling of the logo size when it drops down through the responsive sizes from Desktop view?

I’m trying to use Uber Maps for Wordpress – a google maps plugin I purchased on codecanyon. When I activate the plugin, the whole website gets wonky. I contacted the plugin creator first and he said “it’s the theme’s job to parse shortcode”.
I currently have the plugin deactivated because when it’s active, nothing on the page loads – the header and footer load, but nothing on the page.
The site is eplus.masterpiecevisuals.com password: eplusrocks. Can you see if there’s anyway to get the theme and plugin to play nice?

Hey ThemeNectar
Using Salient for first time. I can’t get my slides (nectar slider) to move across on auto pilot ? Is that right ?
Thanks
Hey – you need to set a value in the autorotate filed inside of your Nectar Slider element within VC
What is VC ? Where is it ? Thanks
Doh ! Visual Composer – found it.

Its been a while so im impressed with all the updates. Ive just made sure the theme is right up-to-date after a few months and whilst i’m happy overall my Portfolio section isnt working. When you click on an item it gives me a 404 error page. Im on the Mac and using Safari & Chrome (both give me the same error). It all worked a few few months ago so can you suggest whats going on and how to fix?
Cheers and great work btw
sorry – should have given you my URL: http://www.andpeck.co.uk

Hey,
Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
@media only screen and (max-width: 690px) {
.container, div.slider-nav {
max-width: 100%!important;
}
}

Hi There, I have just noticed that on the Nectar Slider the heading and caption are not responsive and when viewed on a mobile look really small. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks
Hey,

Hey there. Loving the theme however, I am still having a problem with my new post categories. I can add a new post via the post/category area but once I create a new page and add a blog element from the Visual Composer, my newly created categories are not there.
I’ve run the tests provided from your support team, checked with my host and even reinstalled the theme on a fresh install and database. Is it simply not possible?
HA!!!! I think I got it… whew!
Hey – glad you sorted it
Nectar sliders doesn’t work on Chrome nor on Safari. Why?
http://pixelkings.com/development/pixelkings/wordpress/Is there a fix?
Thanks.
I made it work on Chrome. I commented the following line in style.css
.swiper-wrapper { /-webkit-transform:none!important;/ }
But it still doesnt work on Safari as expected. Any ideas?
Hey,
It’s hard to say since it seems you’ve modded the functionality a fair deal, could you please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so I can take a look at what’s going on
