considering a purchase. few questions: 1. on mobile version, the search box disappears before user can type a search query. at least another person has reported this in the comments. reading your changelog for the latest update, i dont see a fix for this. do u have a quick fix for clients? 2. using this demo: porto/demo1 can the banner above the slider that says free shipping, etc be removed? i want to push the slider and left navigation upwards to it sits right under the blue header. 3. can the css animation be disabled so that all content loads right away instead of fading in as i browse to the section? 4. can there be a combination of top horizontal navigation and left sidebar navigation with mega menu? 5. can i use the footer style of porto/demo9 on porto/demo1? or make porto/demo1 footer lighter? i don’t like the black footer color.

My clients bought porto and I am configuring it for them. Its a very good theme I have just 2 issues and Im sure they are related:

1. I am using header type 9. When I make changes to the colours of the popup menu in “skin” settings – nothing happens. The colours remain the same.

2. When I try to change images or image settings in the menus, nothing happens. In order to make a change I have to delete the entire menu item and replace it .

These sound like an issue with folder permissions to me. Any thoughts?

I see there is an update today – do I need to do a full theme installation or just the shortcodes plugin? Does this solve the menu issue?

We didn’t fixed this issue. We will fix in next release.

If you are using 1.1.0, you should update only porto shortcodes plugin.

This is the LAST “fully packed” theme I bought here on Envato, I mean – that’s sure. I rated it 5 and I’ll not change that but must say here (this was the braking point) that I will buy latest BUT very Spartan themes (usually works perfect with very few updates) from now on and use my own plugins (have them all) which will update individually with no hassle. I’m tired of this working FOR template itself especially when I have other jobs to do.

Hello I see from a post 2 days ago, that the original Porto Wordpress Theme was removed permantently because you are not the author and due to lack of customer service? How is this so? This new version looks ALOT like the older version, if you support it why cannot you not support the old version?

Also are you able to give the old customers access to the newer version with the added eCommerce that alot of us probably will not use unless we are setting up a new shop.

I purchased both Porto for Wordpress and Porto for Magento, the reason I did this was so that I could try to make the websites merge together and look about the same. While I still have my original download, I don’t think I got the latest version of it before it was taken offline so I don’t have any of the bug fixes up till the point of pulling the plug on it.

I am not going to say that paying another $$ for this new version is unheard of or not reasonable, it is just for me I just purchased both pieces of your software around 2 months ago, so not even had time to start developing the sites together now I am down to one ‘updated’ theme and one that is no longer available unless I want to buy the new version with the addition of features I won’t use.

This is eCommerce version, can say completely different with original Porto Multi Purpose theme, just using same styling & elements. If you want, you can ask Envato support to issue your refund for previous purchase.

We added dark version. You should customize porto theme to add custom cart icon, wishlist & quickview buttons and remove the borders.

Any plans to add a masonry shop layout?

We do not have such plan yet.

You should translate porto widgets plugin. You can find default po file in wp-content/plugins/porto-widgets/languages.
